Anxius let out a growl as he leaped out of the way of the swords, one of them barely grazing his fur. He sank into a crouch, ready to dodge any more swords.
"Do not make me do this to you!" Anxius threatened, "I mean no harm!"

Anxius' attention was immediately taken by the new intruder. He turned away from the wolf and sniffed at the newcomer. Seeing the agitation of the wolf, he glanced back at him and quickly said, "I'll tell you later, but let's handle this newcomer, shall we?"
Anxius watched the conflict happen. He had never seen such a strange creature before. It was certainly resilient, having taken so many blows from the others. Instant regret spread through him for not joining in. Still, he didn't know if these others would turn on him. He let himself relax a little and cautiously stepped out of the cave.
"I'm impressed!" He called out to the group. "Good teamwork. Could use a bit of work, but it's effective."

Anxius followed the tracks all the way to a cave. The general scent of the group was stronger here; It was obvious they had stayed here for some time. For the moment, however, it was empty. He walked over to the entrance of the cave and looked around. He spotted a new set of tracks and was about to continue following them, but stopped.
He could definitely smell something on the gentle breeze, and he didn't like it. He backed into the cave and sank into a tense crouch, ready to leap into action. He was going to wait for it to come to him, whatever it was. It wouldn't be much longer, he was sure it was close.

Anxius breathed in deeply. The aroma of the forest was relaxing. It was a new world to him, and it was so much better than the dry sand he was used to. He was glad he decided to move up here. He exhaled and continued his progress through the forest. As he walked through the trees, he paused for a moment. He looked around and sniffed the air. There was a smell in the air that he hadn't noticed before. A smell oh so familiar to him...
He quickly ran through the forest, rushing towards the source of the smell. He stopped abruptly some distance away. He crouched down into a small depression in the forest floor. With his Hissatsus, he scanned the area directly ahead of him. Once he confirmed the area was clear, he stood up and continued to stalk forward.
He approached a clearing. The smell was strongest here. It was definitely here. He walked to the center of the clearing and found it. Blood. He looked at the ground surrounding it. He frowned at the strange tracks. Some were smaller than his own, some were bigger. He glanced up and saw the direction they were headed in.
Well, it was better than wandering around aimlessly.

Dark brown eyes. His fluffy fur coat is a dirty white with black stripes.

Light: Anxius has the ability to redirect light from elsewhere to his own eyes, thus allowing himself to see things he normally wouldn't be able to. Theoretically, he has an unlimited range of sight, but this is limited by the fact that he simply cannot view a place if he doesn't know the general location. The further he sees, the more strain is put on his eyes.

To his friends, he is kind and friendly. To his enemies, however, it is a different story. Anxius fights viciously and without mercy. The cries and pain of his enemies is simply music to his ears, and he does not believe in painless deaths. He promises loyalty to his friends, and he promises pain to his enemies.
Background
From his arid homeland he learned to fight. Learning to cooperate was important, but learning to destroy your opponents was more important. Being fast and unpredictable was the key. It was here that Anxius learned that killing was... fun. Sickened by this dry, boring land, he abandoned his home and moved north for the promise of greener land and worthy opponents.
