charles saw his chance while the small cat was looking up at the trees and away from him,he'd worked out that if he took the right path he would avoid the wolfs claws and out run them. hopefuly. he dived out into a sprint and went for the cat, going to grab her by the scruff f the neck. not hurting her but still in a good enough to stop her trying to bolt, neven if she did he would just out run her again.

(Keep in mind that Himeko is ON the tree.)

Any doubts he might have had quickly faded as the little cat smiled at him. Something about Himeko was oddly relaxing. She was like the forest. "I'm called Anxius. It is nice to meet you, Himeko," He replied with a faint smile.

He turned away and glanced at the wolves who were still talking. He let out a yawn and lay down against the base of the tree. He waited impatiently until the smaller wolf said,
"Anyone disagree with the decision to help Marcus?" Anxius lifted his head and said loudly, "No complaints here!"

Anxius doesn't take too kindly to traitors. You better hope you have a way to kill him in one blow before he can retaliate.

Is Himeko ignoring Anxius?

Anxius spotted movement out of the corner of his eyes as he watched the wolves talk. He looked towards it and spotted the cat climbing up a nearby tree. Curious, he made his way over to the tree. He looked up to see the cat climb up to a branch and perch on it. it sat there for a while and simply watched the wolves. "What are you up to, little one?" He called out to it.

Anxius perked up. "Same here," He said, trying to contain the excitement he was feeling. If he could just get the chance to fight one of those things...

"My name is Anxius, from the deserts south of here," He said, introducing himself a second time. He wearily glanced at the big wolf. He didn't trust him, and he was even larger than all the rest. He was definitely dangerous. "I don't know him," Anxius clarified, jerking his head in the general direction of the big wolf.
