Start anywhere. Maybe show up while we're travelling.Good call. Normally our character's Hissatsu's are debuted through battle or through some other everyday thing. Charles couldn't have known that, because Anxius hasn't used it in front of anyone else up until now. Plus, Charles was running away- he couldn't have seen the glow of Anxius eyes that shows the user is using their Hissatsu.

I didn't even realize their eyes had to glow. I know this is late, but could Anxius' Hissatsu have a different effect? I was thinking they'd vividly reflect whatever he was looking at.

How did Charles even get the idea that Anxius had a Hissatsu in the first place? It's pretty much impossible to tell when and where he is looking.

Anxius sighed and turned away from the wolf without waiting for a reply. He nodded towards Himeko as he passed her.
"Yeah, I wouldn't be surprised if he came back," Anxius replied to the rabbit, "upstream sounds fine."

He felt the urge to stalk the fox again with his Hissatsu, but he was starting to use it too much. He didn't want to prematurely lose his vision.

"I don't trust him!" Anxius snarled back, "He could've hurt Himeko!"
He took a deep breath and continued as calmly as he could. "If he's innocent, why would he run off like that after I simply asked him what he wanted?"

Since your last post, Charles began chasing Himeko up a tree. Himeko easily got away, but both she and Anxius don't trust Charles. After Anxius intimidated Charles, Charles ran off and Anxius chased him. Anxius let him go after some short distance and that's when Hikaru noticed. Hikaru and Anxius both might get into an arguement now.

Himeko runs up towards Hikaru. "This is Hikaru, he is my friend!" She stands between them to make sure Anxius doesn't hurt Hikaru.

Valkyr said "Do you know that one?" He growled, indicating the fox.

Anxius stopped and glared as the fox bolted away. If speed wouldn't work, then he'd have to try another tactic. Still in his "hunting mood," he immediately sensed the wolf headed in their direction. He turned towards the wolf, his irritated glare not fading. "Do you know that one?" He growled, indicating the fox.

Anxius bared his teeth and chased after the fox with a loud growl. The fox got a head start, but Anxius refused to let this one get away. Still charging after the fox, he activated his Hissatsu to ensure he wouldn't lose him. His gaze successfully followed the fox into a bush some distance away. Anxius made his move and leaped into the bush, jaws gaping and ready to grab.

Anxius stood between the cat and the fox. He was worried for Himeko, but she didn't seem to trust the fox either, which reassured him. Standing as tall as he could, he stared down at the fox and demanded, "Who are you and what do you want?"

Anxius let out a vicious growl and leapt to his feet as a fox jumped onto the tree out of nowhere. Before he had a chance to react, the fox had already climbed out of his reach. He began pacing around the tree, agitated. The fox was after the cat. Did they know each other? What was the fox going to do?

Relief poured into him as the cat jumped down and landed safely on the ground. Anxius stuck close to her without a word and carefully watched the fox's progress.
