Alex smiled. 'I'll need a little time to sort myself out.' He said, gesturing to the fact that he still had a bed-head and was only half dressed. He wasn't able to go out shirtless with messy hair, that was a social killer right there, but it might end up with some girls surrounding him.
Alex chuckled. 'Doctor Who as well, huh? My perfect guy, right there.' He laughed. 'I know where we can go, I'll show you some of my quieter places first, hopefully just bump into one or two people to integrate you a little.' He shrugged. 'As long as you don't pay any attention to the boneheads, we should be fine.' He chuckled.
Alex shook his head. 'No, you don't sound crazy. You just sound like you're overthinking things.' He shrugged. 'And we don't have to go out if you don't feel like it. It's completely up to you.' He smiled. 'And don't worry, you won't ruin anything.'
Alex looked at Jason as he looked down. 'What's wrong?' He asked, instantly knowing something was up. He was starting to really care for Jason, more than he cared about most other people. He didn't like the idea of Jason feeling anything less than ecstatic. He wasn't sure how to react if Jason was ever upset other than try to make him feel better.
Alex shrugged. 'Sorry, I just want this to go well.' He said, which he really did. He hadn't been with a guy before, and he was willing to change his lifestyle, if it worked out. He just wanted this to work out well. He shrugged. 'I don't have many ideas, to be honest. We could watch some more movies, if you want? Or we could go outside and meet real people.' He shrugged. 'Don't get me wrong, I don't mind going out, but the people I tend to see are just... ugh.' He wondered what Jason thought of his "friends".
Alex chuckled. 'Bacon is the food of the gods.' He laughed. As he said that he wondered if he should be worried in case of offended Jason. 'Unless you're religious, in which case it's the food of the humans who know what good food is.' He amended with a nervous laugh.
Alex laughed. 'No it's fine. The venue isn't a problem. I just figured I was overstepping it a bit.' He shrugged. 'You never know wit these things.' He smiled. 'I promise you I am not overthinking the date, I'm just overthinking what happens afterwards.' He chuckled.
Alex smiled. 'Good. Trust is important. Without trust, we'd get nowhere.' He smiled, then his smile faded. 'That is, if we're planning on going somewhere.' He said. They'd never really mentioned anything apart from the first date, he assumed everything depended on that, but he couldn't imagine it going so badly that Jason refused to speak to him.
Alex laughed. 'You're far too easy to wind up.' He chuckled. 'But I find it cute when you get nervous.' He laughed. 'Don't worry, there are no snails involved today.' He smiled. 'I'm not that much of a risk taker.' He laughed. 'I promise you that you will like where we go today.'
Alex smiled. 'Don't worry. This surprise will be a good one. I promise you.' He smiled. He realised he could wind Jason up at this moment very easily. 'You don't mind snails, right?' He asked, with a serious expression. He wondered what Jason would say, and if he would get anywhere with the joke.
