Alex looked at Jason with a sudden seriousness. 'Actually, before we do, can we talk about something different. Something to do with the school's... social groups?' He asked. This was when he was going to warn Jason about the problems he might face, the issues that might arise with his tutoring, and his grades in general. It was evident that Jason wasn't very outgoing, and it was doubtful that he would ever become popular, the best Alex could do was try and keep him unnoticed, and that was what he was determined to do.

Leon smiled before speaking. 'I won't.' He said, before closing his eyes. His head drooped as his conciousness left his body, and entered that of a demon he was psychically linked with. He was strong, but that was to be expected. He was one of the high ranking demons, one that had access to the archive, but his defences were no match for Stryfe. Demons don't expect to be attacked by their own kind, and angels would never resort to such trickery, so the demon he was dealing with had very little defence against him. He took over his body and forced him to go to the archive. He inputted the password and entered. He started logging in, and got ready to wipe it clean when the alarms went off, alerting the higher powers that the archive was being wiped. He quickly wiped the files of him and Alex and left the body of the demon, but the rest of the archive stayed intact, which was not exactly preferable.

Leon sighed. 'To be honest I don't think the light is so well lit anymore.' He looked down at the ground. 'My whole belief system was shattered in a matter of minutes, I'm beginning to think the whole system is corrupt.' He turned to Avery. 'Any way, I probably shouldn't be talking to you like this, I'm sure you don't wanna hear about my problems, seems like you have enough on your mind, without me adding to it.' He smiled sadly.

Alex smiled, he was finally understanding something that wasn't football or how to skip classes without getting caught. He was actually learning something. He might actually manage to achieve something this year after all. 'Surprisingly, no. I actually understood all that. I don't know how you did it, but you actually taught me something to do with Shakespeare.' He chuckled. 'Boy I never thought I'd say that.' He smiled at Jason. 'Any chance we could make this a more... long-term thing? I mean, I really could use your help.' He sighed. 'I'm hopeless at this stuff, but you seem to be able to help.' He gave him his best pleading smile. 'Please?'

Leon smiled. 'I have the power to heal, too. It used to be used as a torture technique, so the target could last longer, but now, I'm doing some good with it. I've done so much bad, I think it's time I did a good deed.' He sighed. He hovered his hands over the wounds that he had given Alex, and his hands glowed white, the wounds healed, and Alex succumbed to the guilt he had felt earlier. He controlled it, making it spur him on to put things right, rather than allowing it to consume him. He took a deep breath and smiled at Alex. 'There. Now I'm going to go after the archive.' He told him.

Leon chuckled. 'Alex, if you come here, I can heal you.' He called. He wasn't about to let this guy stay injured when he was letting him stay and keep out of the radar of the underworld. The demons knew him though,and would assume he'd go it alone, and run. He knew that would be his tactic, normally. They wouldn't expect him to be staying with a mortal. They definitely wouldn't expect him to do anything as brazen as delete all the files from hell's archive.

Leon looked at her. 'Why?' He asked simply. There was no big question, no explanation, but he knew that she would know that he meant why was she doing everything to protect him. There was no reason for her to have stepped in at that bar, no reason for her to hide him, and certainly no reason for her not to kill him right now, on the spot. There was no need for this behaviour, but he just had to trust her. After all, if it weren't for her, he'd either be badly beaten or dead, by now.

Alex shrugged. 'I guess we should start somewhere. I don't wanna be wasting your time.' A hint of a smile played across his lips as he opened up his own copy of the book. He wasn't sure what he was doing, but he had a feeling that if anyone could help his grades, it would be this guy. If he got good grades, his mother might worry a little less, and that could be very useful. He wasn't sure why he thought this, but he just had a feeling that Jason could be very useful. He just didn't know what to do outside this room, when his friends would want to bully the new guy, make him feel small, and Alex would want nothing to do with it, or would want to stop them. Could he do that? Would he risk his popularity for the sake of this guy? Or was it not for this guy, but for his mother's sake? He would have to keep Jason from being bullied, to keep his grades up, and to keep his mother happy...

Leon chuckled. 'Not from the underworld you can't.' He smiled. 'The human world and the underworld are separate. Demons can't access human technology from below, and humans can't access demon technology from above. However, there is a way I could try and delete the records without going back. It'll be difficult, but it's not completely impossible. I have the ability to control humans using telepathy, if I could use that on a demon, I might just be able to make them delete the records.'
