Alex chuckled. 'If it wasn't already obvious, I'm a dragon shape-shifter.' He raised an eyebrow at the way Adruin described himself. Something within Alex stirred, something that assumed that he and Adruin wouldn't exactly be best buddies. He would try to see eye-to-eye with the evil angel though. He didn't want to completely throw away his previous statement of not judging people before getting to know them immediately.
Actually, if you read the replies, both Alex and Zaccar answered your character.
Alex shook his head. 'That boy should stop selling himself short.' He turned to Allegra, quickly changing back into his human form and walking towards her, extending a hand. 'My name is Alex, and I don't believe in judging others based on what they are. Just don't tell any of my relatives.' He said with a small chuckle. 'And thank you. I must admit, I haven't met many vampires, despite my endless travels.' He confessed. He had never had the experience of meeting a vampire for more than a few moments, mainly because he stuck to his human form, and ended up having to defend himself from any nomads that might confuse him for a true human.
Alex let off one last burst off flame that shone with a silvery light, shaped itself into a bird, then burst into a shower of sparks that rained down, reaching a few feet above the heads of the people below, before dissipating into nothing. He smiled as he heard the comments of the others. That was just a show-off skill. In battle, he would be much less elegant. That had been proven before now. He could battle with an almost dance-like precision when he was just training, but to have a dragon try and be so precise in actual battle would be far from feasible. In his human form, though, he could battle with a precision that was unmatched by most.
Alex chuckled and turned his attention to the sky. He took a deep breath in and, with an almighty roar, let out a jet of fire. But it wasn't just any fire. It changed colours from yellow to orange to red, blue, green and continued to flash different colours. He was working all his dragon abilities on this fire. Normal dragon fire was generally just red, but dragons could, if they wanted to, change the colour of their fire. He had learned this ability at quite a young age, and, as a child, was rather fond of the way his fire could change.
Alex chuckled. 'I must admit, I'm not used to all this attention. I mean, I've had quite a bit of attention within my family, what with my abilities and all, but I've never been so closely regarded by people I've only just met.' He smiled. 'I could get used to it.' He laughed. 'Wanna see something cool?' He asked, with a small wink. He wondered how many of the group had seen dragon-fire before, and figured that, as long as he faced upwards, he could safely give them a small demonstration.
I'm UK time too :P
Alex chuckled, it was deep and throaty and bellowed despite how quiet it was. 'I can speak as anything.' He replied. 'I can turn into more than just this.' He said. 'I can take you flying, but doing so could result in some issues for me, should my family ever find out.' He looked around. His were red with slits for pupils, he watched the newcomer shoot down from the sly. 'Try the entrance.' He said to him. He watched Flint's inspection with curious eyes. He was pretty brave for a human. Most humans would have ran as fast as they could by now, unless they were trained to defeat dragons. He looked up at the sky, wondering what his family would be doing at this moment, and then realising that it didn't matter, he was here, and he could do what he wanted.
Alex sighed. 'Eragon was a dragon rider.' He said, sighing. 'Saphira was the dragon. Plus that story is completely inaccurate. Dragons do NOT need riders.' He stood further away from the bench and closed his eyes, holding his arms out, and lifting his head high. A silvery mist started forming around him. 'At this point, you should definitely stay away. I don't know what happens when someone enters a shape-shifters changing phase, but I definitely don't want to find out.' The mist thickened and obscured him from view, and began, slowly, to crawl outwards. 'AAAARRRGGGHHH' His human yell gradually became deeper and more animalistic, turning into a roar. The mist dissipated and cleared, and rather than a human being stood before them, a large silvery dragon stood. (See the picture in my CS)
