Maxwell Rite was alone. There was no noise around him, save for the wind, and the sound of a metal pipe dragging against the ground. The blaring of the intercom alerted Max while he was walking along the streets. Others. Finally, even if he was insane, this guy was most likely not out to kill him. That is, unless he was a blade, or looking to loot people. But.. there was HIM... he wouldn't let Maxwell get killed, as it would mean he would die too. Maxwell decided to go through with it, and began looking around. There it was, a flag with an odd symbol on it. Max walked at a brisk pace with the metal pipe resting in his hands. Maxwell looked around the flag, finding the small radio, with a channel scratched into the back. He turned it to the channel. "Hello, psycho from the intercom, you there?"

I honestly couldn't think of a name for it. Maxwell has no powers on his own, but, if one of his alters are ever triggered, that personality's powers would become apparent. Luckily, his personalities have specific triggers, but the triggers have yet to be discerned. Maxwell has stated that there are 3 of them, though, only 1 has ever manifested, Abyss. Maxwell also has an eye on right hand, he cannot see from it. Here is a list of Abyss' known powers: - Upon manifestation, 4 wide, arm-like appendages made of some sort of black/purple ethereal energy appear from Abyss/Maxwell's back - The eye upon his hand becomes active, but Abyss refrains from speaking, and is believed to be completely deaf. - Abyss can give people visions of everything they know and love being destroyed. - Abyss can use the ethereal appendages to float, but not really fly more than a few feet off the ground. Quick note: These alters are based off of the idea of "Hear no evil, see no evil, speak no evil." each of the personalities is an identity based off of one of these. Abyss is the vision of evil, and is based off of some of Maxwell's worst moments as a young child. The other 2 probably won't be evil, I haven't finalized everything, though I plan to put those up when they are being triggered. Bio: Maxwell was born with an eye on his right hand. It was closed for most of his early life. He could not operate it. His parents didn't want the eye removed, as they believed it was a gift from god, or something. When Maxwell was 6, he watched his father, in a drunken rage, kill his mother with a beer bottle. Maxwell's father was arrested, and Maxwell went to live with his uncle. The eye on his hand was open. His uncle couldn't pay for a surgery, so he had Maxwell cover his hand with some bandages, so people wouldn't have to see it. Over the years, Maxwell sat through abuse from his uncle. When he was 9, in 2008, during one of his uncle's usual sessions of beating Max with a stick, something in Maxwell snapped. Maxwell's uncle was nearly killed by something that..wasn't human. The Uncle was saved by a police officer that just so happened to be coming to the home to try and confirm a child abuse claim. Maxwell was diagnosed with DID, as well as having some sort of power, and was taken in to foster care, due to the whole child abuse thing. And now, Maxwell sits here, in Redbridge, waiting for the end of it all.
