Aelar leaned against the boat railing looking off into the hazy horizon. He listened as Willo sang and thought about the words. It was a song of danger and death yet it was also a song of hope and courage. As the song came to an end so did the journey which was uneventful to say the least.

Stepping off the boat onto the decrepit dock the first thing he noticed was a castle looming in the not too distant distance. He checked the surrounding area for any obvious dangers, seeing nothing he listened to Lazarus' explanation for them coming here and their tasks. "It holds plagued beasts that a long time ago could not be killed by normal means...", it seemed this wouldn't be an easy fight; not only was it indoors limiting movements, especially harming Ramone's fighting style, the beasts couldn't be killed by normal means.

"Sounds fun...", Aelar said, "but how are we going to kill the beasts?" he added half under his breath. He really hoped that there wouldn't be too many unknown variables, but knowing his teacher it wouldn't turn out that way.

Im sorry that I haven't posted I've been having a hectic weekend my grandfather is in the hospital recovering from a surgery and I needed to help my dad with a few things. I should be able to have my post up by 4pm tommorow I'm unable to write my post at the moment so it will have to wait till tommorow. Appearance: Aelar is neither exceptionally tall nor muscular at the height of 1.9 meters (about 6’ 2”) and the weight of 90kg (about 200lbs.). He has short relatively unkempt black hair crowning his head. A square jaw and prominent nose are quickly noticed, but are even more quickly ignored on seeing his unusual silver-gray irises. His elvish blood is noticeable in his pointed ears. He inherited his tan skin from his father.

He generally wears an enchanted mail vest under his altered Hunter clothing. His Hunter equipment is all black and is made from Great Bear leather, making it tough yet light and flexible so as to leave the movements of his weapons unimpeded. He wears a necklace with a silver-gray gem in the center of his mother’s family crest, a sword carried by an eagle.

Biography: The son of a Human Hunter and the daughter of a Dark Elf Merchant; Aelar’s life has been an interesting one. When his maternal grandfather requested the Hunter’s Guild to send two or three Hunters to protect a large shipment of Star-metal headed through territory well known for containing Beasts. Aelar’s father was part of the three-man squad tasked with protecting the shipment. Aelar’s mother, extremely beautiful, caught his father’s eye with her graceful manner and humility. As they went along they talked and found that they shared many interests, the greatest of these was a fascination with the stars. As was expected the caravan received multiple attacks from Beasts but with help from the elven mages, led by Aelar’s maternal uncle, the Hunters were successful in protecting the shipment. Aelar’s father left the guild and became a body guard for the Dark Elf family. As a bodyguard he became closer to Aelar’s mother and after a few years they were married.
After Aelar’s birth, his father determined that his son would be a Hunter when he grew up. When Aelar turned 5 his father started to teach him the basics of using the sword, drilling them into him day after day. This went on till the day Aelar turned 8. On that day his father told him to choose one of two paths, the attacker or protector, this choice would shape what sword he would use as well as the Vitae spells he would be taught by his mother. He chose the path of the protector using a greatsword or sword and shield and using spells that strengthen his allies. By 10 years old he was relatively proficient in both his sword style and spell usage. His father began to take him when protecting trade caravans to build his battle experience. When his father determined he was ready he headed to the Hunter’s Guild and was accepted because of his battle experience and skillful use of support spells. It is now time for his final task before officially becoming a Hunter.

Personality: Aelar is outgoing, and will even try to make friends with those who do not like him or have wronged him. However he is not naive as he has had quite a bit of experience with people. He is straightforward but not tactless; he knows some things shouldn’t be said. He is extremely loyal to his allies and vicious towards those who threaten them.

Strengths: He is skilled in defensive fighting. Aelar has an innate sense of where to move his shield to block after fighting many battles, this is not always accurate but has saved his life on multiple occasions. His control over his sword is very precise allowing him to parry and counter attack against multiple foes.

Weaknesses: His movement speed is not very quick and he is not very agile. Being a defensive fighter weakens his killing power making him have to rely on allies to finish the job generally. His spells slowly use his mana over time making it very important that enemies are taken care of before he runs out.

Templar’s blade: A greatsword that can shift the upper part of the blade down a to the sides making it become a shield

Starlight: A relatively simple longsword with a silver-gray gem embedded in the hilt. It is a family heirloom from his mother’s side that he received as his uncle has no children.

Vitae Spells:

Mana-Equalization: A spell that uses Aelar’s mana to replenish his allies while draining it slowly as long as he uses it.

Blazing-light: A spell that strengthens the targets attacks both physically and magically it like Mana-Equalization it is a slow mana drain instead of a single cast.

Exicus Runes: 'Turn Familiar' His familiar is an Earthfire Drake a relatively common species among lesser drakes. Earthfire Drakes range from 4 meters (about 14ft) to 6 meters (about 20ft) from head to tail and their tails generally take up around a third of their length. They are quadrupeds with tough reddish-brown scales and the scales on their tails tend to be extremely sharp.

Additional Notes: He likes spaghetti but enjoys pizza more.
