Oh, the horn gratings? I just put that in since the other characters had phoenixes, dragons, and unicorns, so might as well. I don't know what their properties are either.
I think MissCapnCrunch has a point, even if we don't really have proof that he talked to the GM or proof that they accepted him.

Anyways, since the GM told me to post my CS in the Interest Check, would anyone like to go there and look him through?
Name: Vincent Pradchaphet

Age: 11

Gender: Male

House: Hufflepuff

Magical Heritage: Half-blood, but Muggle-raised. Wizard Father, Muggle Mother.

Appearance: At the age of 11, Vincent just seems to be a scrawny-looking, brown-eyed boy, with no apparent muscular build (His muscles will fill out throughout the story). He doesn't tend much to his black hair, which gives him sort of a messy look, but turns out well in the end. His skin is slightly darker and yellower than the others and his eyes a bit more slanted from his muggle side, which comes from Thailand.

Biography/Personality: Vincent was born to a Thai Muggle and a British Wizard, who soon divorced after their pregnancy was known. Vincent took on his mother's last name because of the divorce. His father is a weatherman for the channel 8 news and only visits him on his birthday. His father also enjoys traveling.

Vincent lives with his mother near the Chinatown of London, in a moderately decent apartment. His mother works as the sales clerk of her own clothing store. There, he was moderately educated and he grew in a very kind and loving environment, which helped him to become a kind and generous young boy with a typically cheerful disposition. On the other hand, his feelings are easily hurt.

He speaks English and a bit of Thai, altered due to being in born in Britain and mixed with slang. He is not a big fan of sports, as his parents also tended to be unathletic and clumsy, so he won't take much part in Quidditch and the like.

Vincent also has an older half-brother who also goes to Hogwarts. His half-brother is a Ravenclaw and an intelligent one at that, due to his strict and pressured upbringing. This intelligence does take a toll on him emotionally.

Personal Items:
-- Nine-inch brown Kaya wand. Swishy. Qilin heartstring. (A hand-me down from his half-brother when his half-brother couldn't use it anymore.)

(A Qilin heartstring core wand comes from Asia. It can only be used with benevolent and wise wizards, making it extremely rare for Slytherins to use. It is most commonly used by Hufflepuffs. It cannot be used by Dark Wizards. It makes the wand lighter in weight. It's particularly good for charms and potions.)

Special Gifts and Abilities:
Vincent would be able to excel in all the subjects he desires to excel in, particularly Potions. He's typically intelligent, but he would go out of his way and even sacrifice his studies to help others, thus his Hufflepuff house compared to Ravenclaw. He has no skill with a broom.
So, here's an RP idea that I'm never going to host. It's designed to have more action, and I'm not a big action person. But feel free to take my ideas.

As the world industrializes, people begin to be skeptical of mythical creatures, beings, and the like. So in various secluded areas, there were large mansion, in each resided a family of vampires. Demolition companies decided to destroy those "vacant" mansion to build more urban stuff, like freeways and malls and shopping centers.

So the vampires flee from their homes, move to the inner city to avoid sunlight, and begin to get into the gangsta' culture. This is where your life starts...
Aww, looks like I was a little too late.

If someone drops, please don't hesitate to PM me.

I'm in! If possible!

I don't know... the post is relatively old, and unless we get some more interest, it's very unlikely.

Also, I was trying to go with a, "This Is The End" theme, but without the rich movie stars.
I did get antsy when I heard classes with paladin, warriors, and clerics as examples. I just want to be an accountant.
I must be ignorant, because I don't see how these ideas are any creative.

See here for my creative apocalypse roleplay idea.
Is this RP still accepting?
This sounds fun ^^. A lot better than a lot of the combat and adventure based RPs out there. I'm wondering why it hasn't gained much attention in the last 4 hours.

The only turn-offs for me is that it sounds so systematic with inventory, skill slots, coins, and real estate. It makes it sound like a tabletop game. If these elements could be assumed rather than ordered -- for instance, if skill slots didn't require metagame like in Final Fantasy where you had to go through the trouble of going to the start menu, party, ... The same goes for coins since I'm not sure of an accurate way to keep count and doubt anyone wants to invest their time in keeping count. Inventory and real estate are easier to deal with, since they can just be assumed.

I bet it's ironic that if I were to play this, I'd want to play as a spirit (elf) student learning to become an accountant.
