A Hello and an Inquiry

That is from our main RP, and the center of our community. There have been dozens of members in the past, though at present there are five very strong members who have been at it for years pretty steadily.

We started out in the Sporum (spore forums), where Gorgenmast, on of ours, made the first "Precipice of War" RP, which is set in a world where the first world war lasted ten years and the United States didn't get involved and failed to become an international power. The RP itself picks up fifty years later, in 1970, and is centered around large sets of characters, with emphasis on the political and military leaders of Communist China, the Imperial Family of Ethiopia and its enemies and allies, and the economic and political powers in Spain.

We moved to the Minecraft Forums due to a major change of rules in the Sporum RP forums, where we picked up Pepper and a bunch of other people. There, we ended up writing so much that the RP has eclipsed virtually all major novel series in word length. It is a nations RP, but the emphasis is on characters, so it is more then just tanks and people passing laws. We've had cocaine addicted leaders of the free world, overthrown monarchs who went into hiding in jazz bands, cross-dressing warlords, and gentle Chinese dictators who only left their office to have a stroke.

That is not our only RP. Currently we also have a Sci-fi RP about a second wave of colonists being sent to an extraterrestrial world only to find the colonies built by the first world to be abandoned, causing them to be stranded and unprepared. We would be porting that too.

That is probably what you can expect. This isn't the norm for most of what we do. In truth, only a small number of us really go that far. I don't find myself very skilled at writing direct sex scenes without them being silly, so I don't so much. Most of what we will bring is violence, suggestive language, and a liberal amount of cussing.

It does become something of a sticking point. Now, we haven't done a lot of sex scenes, but when they have a place we haven't shied away from them (crotch-headbutting notwithstanding). In truth, it is rare for a full-blown sex scene to happen, but there is plenty of sexual language, nudity, implied sex, vivid violence, cussing, and the like. I would hate to make our RP's PM threads, because they are awesome.

Would it be possible to simply mark our RP's as R rated as a warning for those who might be sensitive?

Yeh, Feo and Peppy up there took the brunt of the violence. I thought I saw them slit Peppy's throat, so i'm glad he healed up.
