Daniel sat down his desk, looking otherwise bored. The lesson was going to start in a matter of minutes and nothing was interesting enough to keep him occupied. He had his eyes fixed to the ceiling and his back resting on the chain waiting for time to pass. Even minutes could feel like an eternity without anything to do. Every one or so few moments, Daniel would glance at Kat and quickly looking away when he saw her pupils move.

Sirius who was behind Daniel only smiled at Kat's curiosity. Just like a real feline, she was curious at how he could remain calm and cool around her. It was an easy answer for him because he knew and was exploiting Ebony's weakness to kindness and gentleness. Even if she was to be 'arrogant' as Kat has mentioned, she still has a heart for people. He noticed her quick jumping from his eyes to the paper, before asking;

"Isn't that actually her work and not yours?" That was the question that he thought she would ask. It made him grin a little bit more before she continued. "How di anyone ever think she'd make a good president?" It was cute to see Kat becoming so worked up about it. Made it sound like she cares for Sirius. Daniel who was in front glared at Kat for looking and saying things like that towards Sirius. He felt that he seems to deserve the attention she placed on Sirius. He took some time to process what Kat was trying to say. Most of it was because he liked council work because it helps him grow a bit better as a person.

"Ebony isn't a girl you think she is. I've learnt that she has a soft spot for people who are nice and gentle. Who likes to take things with an open and appreciative mind."He reflected for a moment, saying that yes she was like that. "She's treated me with ice cream more than once before." He smiled again to Kat. "The work here is actually a shared effort. Ebony and I had a discussion about it and we did the schedule together. I noticed some flaws in it so I volunteered to get it fixed up by today." It was kind of her to offer her own assistance if Sirius needed it. The thought made him feel happy and most of all, included. He gave a firm nod to Kat, happily appreciating her endeavour and kindness. "Thanks Kat. You're a good friend."

Daniel who heard the thing went down could only parrot Sirius. "Thanks Kat~~~ You're a good friend! Blargh waggh" That only made Sirius look at laugh.

----- Meanwhile, Emilia and Lann -----

Lann heard her phone ring, but the two remained to continue romancing with each other in the middle of the forest, ignoring the phone as they kissed.

Oblivious to what was happening behind the curtains with Daniel and Kat. As soon as he was able to see Kat, she was seated and texting her phone away. Perhaps from the current situation, she was texting Emilia-- find out where she was and all the stuff. He thought about it for a moment and found it funny how it actually doesn't make any sense. Emilia was the punctual type. She had failed to turn up early and it's very, very unusual. He wasn't quite sure with Lann since he was a little bit on off as it seems from yesterday. It was also too much of a coincident if the two were held up by something. He glared outside the window. He knew that something was up but made no comments about it.

Ebony, who was just standing by the door near Sirius as he walked towards his desk was darting her eyes at Kat-- Undoubtedly annoyed and irritated by the attitude she carried on towards her. She gave a frustrated smirk and left to the next door classroom where she resided. Sirius had missed the kind of exchange that the two girls had. Daniel who seemed clueless at what was going on had his hand held around his arm. Seems like something happened when he spoke with Ebony. "I don't see you react like that often. Geez, what's wrong with you irritable girls?" He groaned and headed back for his seat where he began to unpack. Sirius unpacked his belongins, especially the schedule and began to go over them-- but he saw Kat staring behind the paper. "Something the matter?" He asked her, perhaps she didn't like to see him being pushed around by Ebony.

(That's alright, I've figured a little.)

The thought of the cultural festival hurdling around Sirius's head made himself spin around in his mind. There was just too much stuff going on. Especially with a president like her it would make things much more difficult for him. The roadways were filled with students just as usual, but one that was over-the-top noticeable was the infamous Daniel. His mouth already open and laughing his ass off about some funny joke he said to his dad yesterday. He was holding little Phoebe's hand who held on to her book and big brother's hands firmly. He sighed. Looks like it was going to be another day in Sirius's diary. He wonders what today awaits.

The sun was up and about, warming those who felt cold to the wind's voracious jaws. Looks like the winter was ending. Or better yet, is it starting? Sometimes mother nature never could decide its preferable mood. Phoebe and Sirius were by the entrance of Mountain View Highschool greeted by a group of Phoebe's friends picking her up right at the gates. It made Sirius happy to see his little sister becoming the popular member of her friendship group. He waved and fare her well as her friends carried her away with a gentle smile before Daniel shows up. "Heey, big brotheeeeer...~" He said in a mockingly tone. Sometimes Sirius just wants to turn around and slap his head multiple times for doing that.

"Quiet, Daniel. You're a nuisance already." He jokingly said to him. It made Daniel flinch to see the quick turn of tables that Sirius had did. It was like he was a whole different person in front of Daniel. "Yeah. I'm already having symptoms of a headache." Daniel came back to Sirius, wiping the sweat off his forehead.

"Geez. Alright, I'll try not to be too annoying. I mean, who knows what would happen when Kat gets here!" It was a response that hit Sirius square in the face. Of course, when Kat gets here it'll be far worse. Maybe a headache was inevitable today. "Seen our brother Lann? Where the hell is he?" Daniel's head looked around the yard, only to find nothing around the courtyard. Sirius turned his head towards the bicycle parking station, but his bike was not there.

"Huh. I don't think he's here yet. Maybe his alarm didn't go off! Like yesterday." The two of them threw a laugh together, lightly making doodle-doo of Lann's disappearance. "Let's just go up to class and get our bags off our backs. Today's gonna kill me like every single day of my life." He joked, before walking towards the front door of the school. Daniel caught up quickly behind him with a small jog. The school corridors were not the tidiest. Students littered the hallways and the only sounds you could hear was the rustling of shoes, the inaudible speaking and the opening and closing of lockers. The stairs were straight ahead and Sirius headed up towards the upstairs flow before he found himself being hooked to a heavier burden in his shoulder. "Aaa...!"

Sirius grunted and anticipated himself falling, but he didn't. He felt somebody's hands hanging off his neck, dangling. "Good morning guys!" Sirius's immediate reaction was to groan. The chatter boxes were here. "Is Emilia already inside?" Her loud voice banging into Sirius's ears gave him a temptation to just struggle Kat's arms off his neck and just run upstairs. Of course, that would be a rude approach.

"We--"

"And for that matter... Where is Lann?" Sirius was cut-off by Kat's interjection. He wanted to tell her that he was going to say something, but it wasn't the first time she had interjected his sentences. His precise guess was that she'll response with an empty apology.

"Kat, they might be hanging out with each other for today. Just let'em be. We'll see them in class later anyway."

"Brother Sirius is right! I mean, nobody cares when I just sit with you. Well, maybe the swimming guys..." His comment made Sirius roll his eyes towards Daniel.

"Brother? Since when we're brothers?!" Nobody seemed to have listened to what Sirius had said.

"Well, maybe they're already inside and totally forgot to wait for us because they were busy gazing at each other." Her comments about Emilia and Lann sent both of the boys giggling. Well, there seems like something's happening between them. Maybe it was best that they catch them out for it when they meet them in the classroom later.

"Haha. Perhaps. We thought that at least Emilia would be up in the classroom. So we're gonna go and check out if she really is there." They continued up the stairs and towards another hallway where there were less students in the corridor. It was just friends of friends who were chatting and talking with one another. There was less commotion and Sirius felt glad to not feel the congestion anymore. As soon as they arrived in their classroom, Kat was the first to march in head-first into the abyss. Not many people were inside-- To his surprise. As soon as Sirius and Daniel walked into the room they were introduced with a small surprise.

"Welp. Looks like they're not here yet. No annoying Emilia and Lann today." There were other classmates inside, greeting the three as they entered. It was a little disappointing to not find Emilia and Lann inside. It felt like as if part of the group's bodily limbs were missing. "Gah. I don't understand why I'm getting worked up over this--" His shoulders were pulled from behind.

"Sirius!" A lady-like voice sounded from behind. The hand turned him around and surprise surprise.

"Ah-- Ebony. C-can I help you?" He asked, trying to figure out what the hell she wants in the morning.

"Did you do what I asked of you last night? I don't want things to go south for Monday's festival." Oh. The schedule and what's going to happen. The running sheet, the amount of organising that Sirius had to do. That only sends him in a much more painful state of mind.

"Yeah... Yeah... Don't worry about it. I got it with me. I'll hand it over to you later because I still need to go over it during class. I'll pass it on for sure during first break." If at least Ebony had helped Sirius organise, it would be less of a pain.

"Oh. Alright, thanks. I know I can count on you. You're a great advisor." And then there's her appreciative side. It completely pulls him out of order and into a roller coaster of emotions. That girl was unpredictably resemblant to cinnamon. If you get too much of it, it'll drive you sick. But if you take it a little, it's sweet.

Emilia nods in agreement to Lann's suggestion. It made him smile. "I... I think I can't go out there yet." Her voice soft, it came out nearly incomphrehendable to one's ears. Lann caught sense to it. It was strange. How could they explain this situation ever to a another person? They'd be damn disgusted, and Lann's image would surely be destroyed. Everybody knows that somebody who just transferred from the Angelo High School is a troublemaker by nature. He can't imagine what kind of impact it would create for Emilia too. It made him worry, but as he bit his tongue he stretched his eyes back to Emilia who had her hands on his to her lap. He notices that her eyes were on it. "Let's stay here." The murmur was followed by her burning cheeks, as if suggesting that she wants to be with Lann. Or maybe that she wants him inside.

He smiled at her with the same red cheeks, nodding his head as he took his other hand and pat onto her tied-up hair. He carefully moved her hand away from his and crawled over her body like a beast on all fours. "Let's do it again... Like last night. But... We can't be too... Noisy." He suggested out of the blue, sending himself into another fluster as they gazed. "I mean... If you don't want to..." He could understand. Perhaps the fact that they were cousins would stop them from doing so. For Lann, it doesn't seem to be so.

It was a destiny bond between the two lovers in the middle of a forest. Although forbidden by logic and customs, human's tendency to break those regulations are fueling Lann and Emilia to remain together. Fully aware that their condition for a relationship was impossible, they decided to keep their relationship secret and hidden to keep their appearances. As Emilia's tears continued to rain over her luminescent cheeks, her arms wrapped around his shoulder tight and firm sobbing loudly to Lann's words. He held her gently with his hands and caressing her back ever so gently and shared another piece of words that made his heart sooth into loving Emilia. "Me too… I… I love you so much, I…" She raisd her head to gaze into Lann as he did the same with a gentle look that was sincere. "You're the only one for me…" Her whisper was breathy and she leaned her lips came and wrestled Lann's.

From a soft, romantic kiss it deepened as they continued. Their lips would refuse to leave from one another. Lann's lips reached up to Emilia's upper lip to nip and tug before continuing to slip and tangle the tongues back, sending them deep into their own worlds. Lann's head slowly became fuzzy and numb. His hands were holding onto the back of Emilia's neck to pull her deeper into him while his thoughts played upon last night's encounter and experience. His face began to fluster in redness and heat-- feeling his own skin producing sweat and the atmosphere began to encourage him to do more-- even if they were cousins. He was reminded again of her beautiful face. One to outmatch even the prettiest of girls, including Ebony who was the Queen of the Mountain View Highschool. It made his kiss slow down in pace, yet becoming softer and sweeter.

Concept of time was lost in their world. But when their kiss was finished, the loud church bells of the school could be heard loudly and clearly from the Forest Reserve. It was strange rather. Lann's initial reaction upon hearing the bell was to look from gazing into Emilia to the Sky towards the school. The sky was brighter from the morning dusk, and the sun was warm in their faces, lighting the trees brilliantly into bright green. He let his gaze move back to Emilia. "… Do you just want to stay here for now?" He asked her curiously with the blush still painted on his face as his eyes looked away a little nervous "I don't mind if we just skip the first lesson…"
