Fateful Convergence

Coughing and spitting out blood and saliva, Adriano picked himself up from the rubble that was the courtyard he was sent flying into. His calm and arrogant demeanor was replaced with a cold, serious glare and a strong killing intent. "No, we're not, signor Howeland. Firstly, I would like to apologize for severely underestimating you." Suddenly, his marking began to glow so bright that the light formed a dome and started to engulf his entire body.

"It will not happen again."

Moments later, the dome burst to reveal an angelic man with the remains of Adriano's tux scattered on the floor. His nude, sexless body was covered in pale white skin and glowing golden markings, his teal eyes had been replaced with a brilliant shade of silver, two pairs of white wings, each big enough to stand at his full height, were now tucked behind his back and his previously jet-black hair was now a shade of glowing ivory as if every strand of his hair had been replaced by LED lights. Without saying anything, Adriano suddenly charged at Nigel, his hands covered in pulsating light.

Now that I noticed, now both Medici sisters have the 'Angel and Demon' theme running between them and their lovers. XD

Adriano deftly evaded most of the black lasers, but one managed to finally land a hit on him and pierced through his protective body barrier, burning his cheek all the way to the back of the head and sending him reeling back as another laser also pierced through his barrier, this time scorching his left thigh and firing through the flesh and skin. Blood began to drip from his new injuries as his body instinctively tried to reform the barriers, but this sudden vulnerability left Adriano at a loss for words. "Impossible... Your flimsy fire tore through my barrier..." he growled and fired back with his spheres of light.

I love it! It contrasts with Adriano and Arlia's angelic forms. :D

Arlia and Eryn: *Pulls their beastly lovers into a hug*

Hayley: True, but I guess it doesn't matter who's stronger. Those two would rip apart anything that could even remotely present a threat to those two women.

Say, I'm giving you permission to have Nigel thoroughly pummel Adriano and make him pull his archangel form, only for Nigel to pummel him and for him to resort to threatening Arlia's life. What do you think?

"Let's." Adriano seemed to take a small interest in Nigel's newest form, but was nonetheless onto Nigel, moving like a lightning bolt across the room. The markings on his skin glowed as more spheres of light shot forth from his glowing markings, once again homing in on Nigel at light speed. While Adriano was now focused on Nigel, Arlia looked at her chains and decided that she had enough of playing the victim. Although weak and exhausted, she cast a light dagger and began trying to cut herself free from her chains.

"Big talk from a half-dead corpse." Seeing Nigel's injuries, Adriano smirked and walked towards the man, then stopped right in front of him and brought his foot up above his head. "Rest in peace, beast of hell. Rest assured that you will not be alone. I will send my useless offspring to your side soon." Arlia watched with a shriek as Adriano brought his foot down, preparing to deliver the killing blow.

Eryn: There, there. *Giggles and strokes Beast!Sean's cheek*

Arlia: *Gently strokes Beast!Nigel's head* My, what a warm fur you have~!

Hayley: Sure is, but I wonder... Between those two, who's the stronger one?

"It's useless. Surrender now and I will be merciful," Adriano boasted as several spheres of light appeared and began shooting at Nigel's direction, specifically his eyes, lungs and heart. It was a light laser attack similar to the light beam that Arlia could use, but much more powerful and precise. He then followed up by sweeping his hand, sending a wave of cascading light rushing towards the beast bathed in black flames. Watching helplessly, a restrained Arlia screamed for her father to stop hurting her beloved, her voice muffled by the cloth gagging her mouth.

Arlia: *Offers one hand to Beast!Nigel, then pets him once he was comfortable with her presence*
