I was planning to log on yesterday. I was on a dentist's appointment and got everything done in an hour, but the car battery went bust, so I and my dad spent two hours waiting for a replacement. I couldn't log on because of that. XD

I've recently been assigned to a long-term project team at work and will have my free time drastically reduced. For this reason, I won't be online here as often.

> Has no pairing and gender preferences, though I skew towards MxF or MxM. 18+ is okay with me
> Not terribly fond of post-apocalyptic, cyberpunk, fandom RPs and sci-fi
> Thanks to the Private Convo system, I can now do PM RPs without losing track (Yay!).

Sorry for not popping in. I hit a writer's block for the past few days, but I'm in for us being bunched together instead of by clubs and let chaos ensues.
As much as she hated the man, Hayley knew Sean had a point: It wasn't safe talking about such sensitive topic out in the open public. "You're expecting us to just walk into your house for answers? Why should we do that? For all we know, you could be setting a trap for us! You did wipe Isaac's memories, or help to do so, at least. Why should we trust your words?" she asked, now in a much lower, but no less threatening and distrustful, tone.

Gritting her teeth, Hayley looked around the crowded deli and snarled at the man as she returned to her seat, furious and itching to fight him despite his warnings. "You have your food now, so scram and leave us be!" she hissed at him, keeping a close watch on Isaac as he mulled over with his headache, or what seemed to be one anyway. "Who the hell are you anyway? What's your connection to Isaac and his memories?" she asked, openly willing to disregard her own life to get some answers.

Hayley went from natural apprehension to heightened alertness. She rose from her seat and confronted the man close by. "Listen, I don't know what your problem is and what's the deal with you and his memory," she paused, feeling something chilly slip out of her mouth. A faint black mist seeped out, her uncontrollable powers threatening to burst. "I won't stand by knowing all this. Either spit it out or I'll beat it out of you," she hissed.

Hayley quickly turned her sight to the male stranger, her hair standing on its end. Something about the man made her feel alert, but it wasn't something that came out of malevolence, so she couldn't help but be confused. She felt a stirring sensation inside her chest, no doubt the 'other her' sensing his presence as well. "Uh, who are you?" she bluntly asked, not knowing who he was other than the fact that he seemed to recognize Isaac. Turning to the man, she frowned when she saw him being in pain. "Hey, Isaac, are you okay?" she asked, her body language slowly becoming anxious and skittish once again as the man approached her personal space.
