I've recently been assigned to a long-term project team at work and will have my free time drastically reduced. For this reason, I won't be online here as often.

Bio

Hello! My username is Vocalia!

A brief background:

> Female from Indonesia, Indonesian as mother tongue, English as fluent second language
> GMT +7 timezone, normally works on weekdays from 6 AM to approx 6 PM local time

Well, with that out of the way, my RP preferences:

> Mostly casual. Can write up to 3 paragraphs with sufficient info for detail expansion
> Advanced intimidates me, but I'm willing to give it a shot when it comes to 1x1
> Has no pairing and gender preferences, though I skew towards MxF or MxM. 18+ is okay with me
> Not terribly fond of post-apocalyptic, cyberpunk, fandom RPs and sci-fi
> Thanks to the Private Convo system, I can now do PM RPs without losing track (Yay!).

That's pretty much it. Feel free to PM me or say hi! I won't bite, I promise! :)

Ah, beloved innocence. :3

So... I just came back with beef stew. Looks like I'm waiting for either Aphel, Sam or cedric to post.
Sighing softly, Hayley was about to say something when she heard a loud ding from the direction of the oven, the smell of cooked lasagna permeating through every open gap. "Oh! Looks like it's done!" Carefully taking the hot food out, she began to slice the large chunk of lasagna into smaller pieces and prepared it for herself and Isaac, putting his portion in front of him. "Well... Dig in, I guess. Let me know how it tastes..." she said to him, almost nervously and timidly, as if fearful that she had given Sarah's recipe a disservice.
"Ah, it's okay. I kinda feel touched that you would worry about me like that... It's... sweet, really..." Now blushing vividly, Hayley turned her sight away briefly before meekly looking at Isaac. "And, uh, thanks for the door... You don't have to do that... I mean, it was my fault to begin with." She began to fiddle with her fingers, signalling her nervousness. "So that Anderson guy apologized, huh? I suppose I can let him off the hook this time..."
Ah! Darn it! So that's the near slip-up. XD

EDIT: Also, I'm heading to bed now. I feel sleepy and it's getting hot here. XP

Have a good day! :D
With the lasagna almost ready, Hayley chucked it into the oven and set the timer, then sat down on a vacant chair while it cooked. "So... What did Dickhead Anderson do? Did he leave while crying like a baby?" she asked, still slightly miffed about the incident, but less irritated about it thanks to her relatively positive encounter with Sarah. "I couldn't care less about the guy, but I hope he didn't wreck the apartment room in my absence." Pausing briefly, she noticed that her bedroom door, previously severed from its hinges, was now intact and as good as new. "And did something happen to the door? I remember that I mangled it when I heard that dick in the kitchen."
Okay, I have to admit that I'm not sure what his near slip-up was... T^T

Also, I checked around and that phrase wasn't made by anybody. I really just made that up. XD
"Well, not really. Funny story, actually," Hayley replied as she began preparing the dish shown to her just a couple of hours ago. "I was walking around when I bumped into this chick. A bit of apology here and there and we just started chatting, just asking names, how we're doin' and all. Turns out that she lives nearby and has lived in this city for quite some time. I told her that I wanted to make you something special and she asked if it would be fine for her to show me one of her food recipes. Since that bastard Anderson just broke into my home and I didn't feel like taking her here after all those shenanigans, I suggested that we went to her place instead, figuring that it would be nice for me to socialize with another human aside from you, along with Vincent." Letting Isaac grasp her story, she then continued after a short break.

"So we both went to her home, which is pretty homey, and then this chick started showing me how to make a kickass lasagna. It not only smells good, it also tastes good! I figured that maybe I could try making it at home and see if I could pull it off. She did suggest that the way to a man's heart is through his stomach, so there's that." She added the last part of the advice and chuckled at how appropriate it was for Isaac and herself. However, she didn't reveal who this person was and her connection to one of their enemies, preferring to disclose it only when Isaac asked for it as it would mean that he was prepared to know and learn.
No, not Nigel. What I said is that Hayley wouldn't even think of dragging Sarah into their problems and has no plans to use her budding friendship with her to her advantage. To her, Sarah was an innocent person and a new friend, killer brother notwithstanding. The way Nigel phrased it made Hayley think that he's only keeping her around for Sarah's convenience, whereby she would then be killed once he gets his orders or when he no longer sees her as a suitable friend for Sarah by his standards. She isn't as angry as she sounds, given that she has no ill plans for Sarah and does genuinely like her. She was actually impressed that Nigel could say that with a straight face and she respects his honesty. :)

Also, I may notice his near slip-up, but I wasn't quite sure. XD
"Sorry about that, Isaac. I was just walking around and, the next thing I know, I was invited for dinner." Hayley grinned as she lifted a grocery bag full of ingredients, the ingredients she needed to make a lasagna. "Now that I'm home, you can sit down while I try and prepare an edible lasagna for you. Might wanna write your will though 'cause I have no fucking clue if this would turn out right," she said to him, smiling sheepishly.
Maybe. I'll check. I kinda made that up on the spot, but I might have seen it somewhere. XD

Also, what do you think of my post? Hayley giving Nigel a piece of her mind and showing him that even she has standards and wasn't low enough to manipulate Sarah into their feud is something I find thoroughly satisfying. The inspiration came from an incident back in senior high school. XD
