I've recently been assigned to a long-term project team at work and will have my free time drastically reduced. For this reason, I won't be online here as often.

Bio

Hello! My username is Vocalia!

A brief background:

> Female from Indonesia, Indonesian as mother tongue, English as fluent second language
> GMT +7 timezone, normally works on weekdays from 6 AM to approx 6 PM local time

Well, with that out of the way, my RP preferences:

> Mostly casual. Can write up to 3 paragraphs with sufficient info for detail expansion
> Advanced intimidates me, but I'm willing to give it a shot when it comes to 1x1
> Has no pairing and gender preferences, though I skew towards MxF or MxM. 18+ is okay with me
> Not terribly fond of post-apocalyptic, cyberpunk, fandom RPs and sci-fi
> Thanks to the Private Convo system, I can now do PM RPs without losing track (Yay!).

That's pretty much it. Feel free to PM me or say hi! I won't bite, I promise! :)

By Ancients, does he mean their servant Ancients or all Ancients?
"I fight for a living, for the most part. That's what I do," Hayley replied in the same nonchalant tone as she took a spoonful of stew and gave it a go, murmuring how tasty it was with a good measure of pleasant surprise. While savoring the flavor of her dinner, she turned back to the topic at hand and said, "I'm actually part of an underground fighting ring. I get paid to beat the snot out of other people. Pay's not too bad, but I gotta watch out for those big fat cops. I do other side jobs when business is lax, but they don't pay as much, money-wise and excitement-wise." As if the dangerous, illegal activity wasn't something to be surprised of, the blonde cast her glance on him and asked, "What about you? How do you get by without your memories? This city is quite merciless, y'know."
"Comin'! Gimme five," Hayley shouted from behind the bathroom door just as the sound of running water faded away. After the five minutes were up, Hayley emerged from the bathroom, with her short, blonde hair damp, dressed in black pajamas. "Hmm... Smells nice," she mused as she sniffed the scent around the kitchen and sat down on one of the chairs, smiling as she saw the steam coming out of the bowls of beef stew. "I forgot when's the last time I've had someone cook for me. It's kinda nice every now and then since I can't afford to eat out all the time."
Vocalia winced as she reluctantly followed Aura, having heard what Armin thought about her opinion. Mister Armin does have a point. I suppose I wouldn't know for certain until I become a member of the guild myself, she thought. Her train of thought, however, was promptly derailed by Aura who took the time to try and help her loosen up. From what she could observe so far, formality wasn't in the guild's general vocabulary, which might explain the familial atmosphere she felt all around. The sound of footsteps prompted her to glance back as she saw Tim and Fisk catching up to them. "Oh, are you coming to see the guildmaster as well, Mister Tim?" she asked, taking a safe option due to being unsure of the Water Mage's age.
It's all cool, Fisk. Don't worry about it. :)
Hayley seemed rather keen on Isaac's idea, as sudden as it sounded to her. "Sure, as long as you don't burn the kitchen down," she replied with a mild shrug and closed the door behind her before taking her shoes off and putting them away. Stretching her rather toned and muscular arms, she gestured towards the fridge and said, "Haven't checked what's inside, but feel free to grab whatever you like." With that, she made her way into her bedroom, grabbed some spare pajamas and towel, then headed into the bathroom to clean herself. With all the things she did that day, a good, cold shower seemed long overdue.
Hayley was somewhat surprised to see Isaac suddenly change his mind. She had expected him to stay firm with his conviction and make some attempt to preserve his ego after declining her offer. Instead, not only did he openly choose to change his mind, he had also remained mindful of what she had to say on the matter. In a way, she found his honesty admirable, to a certain extent.

Eh, why not? I guess that's what a human brain is for. At least he's using it to think, she thought with a bemused chuckle. "Well, that was quick. Follow me then." Now with her guest for the night in tow, she led him to a different road after making a right turn on the intersection and, after several minutes of brisk walking, she arrived at a small, somewhat cluttered apartment complex. A short hike up three floors and she finally stopped in front of one of the many rooms the complex had. Rummaging her jacket for the key, she pulled the clinking item out with a soft hum, opened the door and turned on the lights.
"To be honest, I don't mind," Hayley replied nonchalantly as she climbed up a netted barrier separating two alleyways and jumped down to make a safe landing. Stopping to let Isaac catch up, she looked back at him and added, "I live on my own most of the time, so it's not like I have to worry about pissing other people with how I live, but if you don't wanna, then it's okay. I don't like forcing hospitality on people. If you think you can make it on your own, more power to you." Once the raven-haired man caught up with her, she led him down one more street before stopping at a four-way intersection.

"Head down this way and you should be able to find a safe shelter for the night. There are lots of empty buildings along this road," she said to him, pointing downwards from where they were standing.
"That's rough," Hayley murmured with a hint of genuine sympathy and made her remember just how slightly better off she was compared to this raven-haired man. As they continued to weave through the streets and alleys, she began to feel more comfortable around his presence. A thought crossed her mind as they finally moved closer to her destination.

I might be kicking myself for this...

"Hey, since you have no idea where you live, instead of having to look for shelter," Hayley paused, trying to calm her own mind down, before continuing, "why don't you stay with me tonight? I have a place of my own. It ain't a five-star hotel, but it's liveable... most of the time."
"If, by nearby, you mean 'a few miles away from here in an area where sane people wouldn't step in while not high, not heavily armed and sober', then yeah, I do live nearby," Hayley replied with a bemused smile, but clearly sarcastic tone, then turned to look at him again as she instinctively navigated through the connecting alleyways, taking any convenient shortcuts that she had memorized over the years along the way. It was as if she knew the area very well. "Since you've lost your memories, I assume you don't remember where you live?" she asked, unsure what she had to do now that he was tagging along with her.
