I've recently been assigned to a long-term project team at work and will have my free time drastically reduced. For this reason, I won't be online here as often.

Bio

Hello! My username is Vocalia!

A brief background:

> Female from Indonesia, Indonesian as mother tongue, English as fluent second language
> GMT +7 timezone, normally works on weekdays from 6 AM to approx 6 PM local time

Well, with that out of the way, my RP preferences:

> Mostly casual. Can write up to 3 paragraphs with sufficient info for detail expansion
> Advanced intimidates me, but I'm willing to give it a shot when it comes to 1x1
> Has no pairing and gender preferences, though I skew towards MxF or MxM. 18+ is okay with me
> Not terribly fond of post-apocalyptic, cyberpunk, fandom RPs and sci-fi
> Thanks to the Private Convo system, I can now do PM RPs without losing track (Yay!).

That's pretty much it. Feel free to PM me or say hi! I won't bite, I promise! :)

"Coming!" Hayley came out of her room with mostly the same ensemble she used when she first met Isaac: black sleeveless shirt with sleeveless orange jacket, black sweat pants and orange and black sneakers. However, in addition to the black and orange set, she wore a pair of black martial art gloves with red outlines over her bandaged hands. "Alright, let's head ou- Wait, what's that?" she asked, taking note of the room he had occupied for the past week. With him using the room, Hayley's housework had been less time-consuming, much to her relief. However, she seemed to have seen something of concern, judging from her raised brow. "Isaac, I suggest you lock down your window. I wouldn't want anyone robbing this place while we're out."
Hayley opened her mouth to protest, but something came up in her mind that made her silence herself. After a lot of deliberation, she groaned, looked at Isaac and replied with a hushed tone, "Fine, if you insist that badly... I'll go and get changed. I'll advice you do the same. I don't want any of us getting in trouble, got it?" Standing up, she rubbed the bridge of her nose and left for her room with her phone as she braced for her fight ahead and the plan she had in mind. She berated herself for making up her mind with her decision, but she was perfectly willing to do so and accepted any consequences that came with it.
"Isaac, I won't back out. With all that money, neither of us have to worry about keeping ourselves alive! I've been in this job for a while and I know all the risks that come with it. I understand your concern, but I'm not going to chicken out just because some people decides to hype him up for the audience," Hayley replied, clearly dead set on taking this person on. "Look, this isn't the first guy I've been paired up against that is made to look as if he could steamroll the whole world with his fingers. I'm sure it's nothing but hype and bluster."

"Which reminds me..."

Looking back at Isaac, she set him a serious, no-nonsense gaze and said to him, "I want you to stay here tonight. I'm taking this guy on my own and the underground circuit is quite notorious for not being welcoming to outsiders. There's no need for you to be involved in this on top of all your personal troubles."
When Isaac stepped back into the room, Hayley was sitting in the kitchen, her phone in her hand. She seemed to be preoccupied by it or, rather, what's on the screen. Her expression was devoid of any of her whimsical carefree attitude and it wasn't until Isaac came with the bags of groceries he was carrying that she finally noticed his arrival. "Oh, hey! Welcome back," she replied with a small smile, but her expression quickly became serious again. "Isaac, I'm not going to be at home tonight. Remember what I've told you about my job? I've just got a big fight coming up. It's against this big shot who's been sweeping the arena like a storm and people are throwing their money on this fight. Word goes that most people who went against him ended up in the hospital and one guy was permanently disabled after being smacked around by this guy, supposedly. If I win, I would have enough money to not have to work for the rest of the month!"
"You might not want to listen to me when it comes to food... Most of the time, I just grab the closest things I could get, cut them up, mix 'em and hope that the end result wouldn't give me food poisoning. So far, I've been winning that lottery," Hayley replied with a sheepish smile, cutting her bacon and eating them bit by bit. "Glad you like the eggs and bacon though. Those are two of the very few food I can cook without messing up, among other select dishes..." Taking a bite out of the 'basket' of her egg in a basket, she looked at Isaac and curiously asked, her eyes perking up with interest, "What dishes can you cook, aside from the beef stew? I'd imagine that you know more recipes than I do."
"Why would I kick you out? You've been a good guest, Isaac. That, and your beef stew was a total knock out! I've never eaten something so delicious! I totally wouldn't mind you staying for another night." Trying not to sound or look rude to the raven-haired man, Hayley took a bite out of her egg in a basket to stifle her laughter, but a faint grin clearly showed how she felt about his hesitation. "I know it's definitely daunting having to ask for help from a complete stranger. I've been in your shoes before, so the least I could do is make sure you have some support, regardless of how small that is."
"If you're heading out today, let me make some food for you before you leave... just in case," Hayley said, abruptly adding the last part to try and reduce the awkwardness of her sudden offer. She was conflicted about whether or not she should ask him to stay for another night, finally deciding that Isaac was definitely independent and mature enough to be able to decide on his own. A soft crackle reminded her of her food and she turned off the stove, thankfully with her food still intact and edible. Serving hers on another plate, she put the pan into the sink to let it cool and sat down on the other chair, placing each plate and utensils in front of them. "Dig in! I hope you like them," she said with a light-hearted smile.
"Dunno... I'm pretty much free, so maybe I'll take a break and rest at home. As much as I love to kick ass, I can't do that everyday, y'know? Maybe I'll just chill out for today and go watch some online show or something. Maybe I'll get some groceries as well..." As she started preparing Isaac's share of the food, she popped in the bacon along with the scrambled egg and, with a few tosses to even out the cooking food, she set them on a plate beside her before cooking her bacon and egg in a basket. "What about you? What will you do today?"
Good to know. :p
Yeah, almost forgot about that too. I was afraid you'd stomp me for that. XD

I'll add 'cameo' in front of the names of students mentioned in my posts, but who aren't interacting with my character, just so I can keep track of things.
