Something like that, but depending on how much damage the other character is willing to take, would show whether Kaizo is more powerful I guess? Like, Aokiji didn't seem to get anything from Kaizo exploding, yet it was stated that the attack was probably a bit over the top but it was a desperate attempt. This is too difficult for me >.> Which again brings up the question as why the hell am I trying to RP in an RP that I don't understand since the majority of it is fighting o.O When I had Rio fight Kaizo, due to his history and power, I had her take damage, yet it's like hardly anyone takes damage O.o I dunno, bleh. oxo

In this case i recommend more communication with the rper that your fighting. If you feel like something is off address it. Don't just accept it as it is. Which brings me to the point of having someone gm fights between rper chars.

Well i would assume that iin the series everyone's assigned rather than what we do. I mean renji used to be in squad 11 and was promoted into squad 6. So I'm pretty sure oir system is.a little different xD

You do realize the unseated ones that you see in the series that are like generic guards are probably the guys who didnt do well in the academy and that being seated doesnt mean your instantly stronger than the unseated. I know it might seem like the other chars are outrageously strong but thats just comparing them to a rank. If you compared out chars to the shows theres no doubt we'd be used to mop floors xD just had to put this cause i feel like there's a lot of griping that chars are to powerful. Considering we dont ave nything to really represent their strength in the cs it just seems like people just jumping to conclusions. I'll concede that starting with shikai is questionable which is why ive never gone through with a char that did until now which my only one.of my unseated chars has unlocked his. It really comes.down.to how you rp and interpret things.

I think only me and Zane do it, he does it only with Sui and Henry and I do it only with Rio and rarely with Fumio o.O I haven't seen anyone else do it and I don't see an issue since this RP is Bleach themed but not completely true to Bleach, especially not with the Captain-level powered unseated people.

We are actually more than bleach themed since we are in the bleach universe and have everything that tite kubo created for it. Anyways whether or not we should be true to the mechanics of the universe i still think communication with the zanpaktou should have more meaning than a casual conversation whenever you want and a post filler.

Multiple chars do it as I've seen. Also i didn't even read your post zane so...it's just directed at everyone who does it. You don't have to stop communicating with your zanpaktou, just don't make it seem like a convenient phone call. It's done by meditating with your sword nearby and entering your inner world. Either that our they will communicate with you during a hardship like zangetsu does with ichigo who doesn't do it legitimately for most of the series. That's all i have to say.

Okay i just got to say this. The characters that frequently talk with their zanpaktou like its nothing is really diminishing the act of shinigami communicating with their spirits. I can accept sango since hers apparently takes over her body but the others are really irking me. Communication with one's zanpaktou requires concentration as shown by the group sent to the world of the Living led by toshiro. Its not something you can multitask with and honestly i think its being used as a crutch to fill space in a post in some cases. It's meant to be a powerful experience and a powerful tool, not like your freakin yugi and the pharoah. I just had to get that of my chest guys.
