"Uuuooooohhh!" Naoto raced down the street. He was on fire, literally and figuratively, to knock Sonya down a peg. So much so that he disregarded the concept of turning as he paved a straight away path to the beach. This consisted of him smashing through windows and barreling through houses. He even ran straight up a draw bridge as it was raising to let a boat by. He launched off the bridge and tumbled through the air, landing in a lumber yard. Miraculously, Naoto crushed out of a pile of a lumber and continued to the beach unscathed.

Arriving at the beach in record time, Naoto suppressants approached rapidly. Coincidentally, a truck drove through Naoto's path. The pink haired, half naked would child smacked into the side and vaulted over it, caring into the beach with an explosion of sand. Without a moment wasted Naoto jumped to his feet and supported Sonya. "Oi! I'm gonna beat you red haired lady with my dying will!" Naoto charged the mafia woman had on.

Followed closely by his feline companion, Kaito navigated the maze that is the Seireitei streets. "Why would they build it like this? I guess it's a good way to hinder an enemy from getting into important areas..." He mused as Sykes yawned indifferently. "Why do you even hang around? Not like you're ever interested in what I have to say." Kaito told the cat grumpily. Kaito stopped in front of the gates of a squad and looked down at the piece of paper he was given by another shinigami. It had a crudely drawn map on it but from what he could tell he was at the right place. "This must be Squad 10. Wait out here Sykes-ugh." The feline leaped up and used Kaito's head to springboard over the gate. Kaito sighed. Wish I could be as care free as him... He entered the compound and stood at the gate. He opened his mouth to call out and announce that he was looking to join but he stopped and stood there looking quite unsure. Should I even be here?

"So, you value hope. That is a fine concept to hold onto." Daishin complimented and turned walking a few steps away. "If you are serious about joining my squad for the reasons you say then there is only one test I can administer." Daishin reached behind and under his haori drawing one of his black tonfa. "Poor all of your feelings into your blade and show me why it is you hope. One strike and you can tell me all about it." He said with a wise smile.
