Yes Koto, that is exactly how it works.
Yes, no more arguing, no more arguments, but that does not make the ones already stated any less viable. Vibroblades are wrong, but somehow accepted.

Anyways, goodnight everybody, im off to sleep now.
Guru, i, alas, have no character yet as well, to battle you.

But i guess that participating nigh daily in the multiverse's OOC from its very beginning and occasionaly saying reasonable things has earned me the right to become a reviewer even without one.
No, i dont resent your decision Green, as i understand your reasoning. I meant my own acceptance.
Mkay. But i resent this decision, as this is handwaving taken to an extreme. Justification of how a weapon functions is one matter, but the functoning itself is another. Vibration isn't just why a weapon "cuts better" (it doesn't) - it's an independant type of damaging which is in no way a mere addition to the orthodox slashing motion. Compare it to just having a monoatomic never dulling edge, and you'll see what i mean.

*takes out his "Epeen Warrior Bushido: Arena roleplay edition" handbook and writes down a single note, reading "Vibrobull - never in the sanctuary of my personal warforge", closing it afterwards and hiding it in his pocket*
Green, making a projectile or cutting weapon vibrate is just as absurd in its nature as putting a 6 pound weight on an arrow and saying that this will improve its penetrative capability by increasing the arrows momentum. It could indeed increase the momentum, but only if the arrow was actualy capable of accelerating to the same speeds with this gear, which it cant, and if the weight wouldn't impede the arrows aerodynamic properties, which it does.

Now look at mine and Guru's arguments, and you will see that this comparison is no hyperbole, oscillating bullets and swords being just as absurd as an arrow with a weight.
Green, my point is that vibroblades say "oh, my sword is so much better than an average one beacause it does something that a normal sword, which it is based from, would NEVER, NEVER benefit from, because it contradicts the very basics of how a sword functions!!!1! Ponies! Fuck blade harmonics!".

No other weapon denies its origins as strongly as an oscillating blade or bullet.
Applying logic to magic is essential to not cram the arena with "i have big bang attack" characters.

As or putting two, just TWO types of vibroweapons to the curb: we have good reasons for doing so. Lets just wait for other people to have their say.
Meeeeh. For all the suspension of disbelief, stuffed into every nook and cranny here, this is going to look real silly. Let's wait for some other opinions; if people say that they are ready to sacrifice some physics for the rule of cool here, then let be. Though one inconsistency may lead to another, bringing down a hail of physics defying characters, causing the decline of NWM's current sci-fi fantasy orientation, so

BEWAAAAAREEE!

:3
But we do know that oscillations contradict the way swords and most projectiles fuction, and i think that is enough to claim these weapons as incompatible with vibrational enhancment.

At least, this is enough to garner disaproovement of such a concept by already two arena participants, meaning that we should rather organize a judgement on this matter than not.
Ok Guru, see you later then.

And as i haven't recived an affirmative "NO, BITCH" to all my whining about vibroswords and bullets being bull, i say that we actuly establish those weapons being bull as truth within this particular Multiverse.
