Truth be said, Vos hadn't thought of how the biker would react to his approach, and nearly took a hit to the face, narrowly evading the attack. He'd be in for some trouble if Sev had aimed any lower, but this time, he only had to duck underneath the bat to dodge it. Truly amazing luck, but he didn't have the time to celebrate: bat's usualy had a majority of their weight shifted to the tip, generating greater amounts of energy upon impact, but also becoming harder to stop for the wielder, winning the mage a subtle fraction of a second to retaliate. His right arm was already outstreched, and Vos chose it to deliver the fastest slash he could muster right now: straightening himself, he lunged forwards with his leading right foot and drew Danwarge's blade across Sev's forearm, his arm straightened and wrist turning the sword to impact at at a steep angle for optimal cutting power. As his arm pulled towards the torso, he bent it, absorbing leftover momentum, and immediately threw another strike, stabbing at the biker's solar plexus. Bringing in his left foot, Vos pushed off with it, decreasing the distance between them to just several inches and adding the weight of his body to the stab. However, his other foot were only slightly lifted off the ground, ready to slam into the road's asphalt and halt his movement for a transition to a dodge or parry.

The strike were dangerouns enough on its own - mighty, fast and with quite a long reach - but Vos had spiced it up with magic, turning it into outright deadly. Just as he finished his first attack and were about to execute the second one, Vos finaly released the Pepper Spray mist, pumping it through Danwarge: his sword were a channel, just as any staff or magical artifact, the only kind of spells he couldn't use with it being one's which stricly used only his body as a vessel, such as Ignition Strike or Boulder Gut. The jet of harmful acids would spread in a cone, thus, reaching Sev's face even without being directly targeted at it, although the concentration would be significantly lower, only causing the eyes to tear, yet leaving skin untouched. The better for Vos, as he were about to barge through this mist himself.

If the thrust sunk in deep enough, he would chain in another spell - polish to his stab, and a finishing blow. Sending the Pulse into Sev's body, he would rend the diaphragm, stomach and lungs apart, wrecking heavy damage and intese pain. Perhaps, if he got lucky enough, this could even break the spine and cause a microcardiac arrest. The latter were a strange way to defeat an opponent in melee combat, but Vos didn't really care, as long as both could get the job done. And bring an end to the biker's snarky commentary as well.
Well, diffrent melee weapons are diffrent in application, and those obsidian spikes dont look like they have neither great reach nor versality, especialy given that they are brittle, thus unsuited for parrying.

Seriously though, it's hard to imagine a person that would wish to live a life full of the ordinary misfortunes and pleasures when he could wasily have something far more greater, perhaps, even unearthly, a pure figment of delightful imagination.
BTW, are we allowed only one weapon each?
Name: Kiril Laretzkiy

Country of origin: Russia

Battle type: Heavy

Apperance: Kiril's solemnly noble face and pale skin seem to perfectly fit his calm demanor, together with short cut chestnut hair and deep set, sleepy eyes.

Bio: There isn't much to say about Kiril and his military career: he led a fairly normal life, conent and happy with what he had, and when the Paranormal invasion robbed him of all that he had grown used to, Kiril decided to take it back. Stern and valiant, he firmly belived that if he wanted something done, then that couldn't do without his participation, even if that meant waging war in the frontlines.

Personality: Kiril is a man of great mental fortidue and endless patience, extremely tolerant towards other people and often placid in spite of the terrors war presents. However, with an independant and calculative nature, he can end up acting without any regard for his teammates if he decides that they are in the wrong.
IMHO, one form is too weak, and the other - too strong.

He could even out in human form if he got some weapon and light armor though.
Alright, i weren't really hoping for that to work out anyways.

But could you go into a bit more detail on the equipment? How tough is the armor (and do we actualy wear it, does it differ throughout the calsses, and how do weapons classify? For example, can i arm an assault rifle loaded with HE bullets, and would it be a heavy weapon, or an assault?

EDIT: do we also get to outfit our weapons with various trinkets, such as muzzle flash supressors and sets of interchangable scopes?
Hey guys, any chance of me joining as a melee fighter? Like, some magic agumented demon-slayer-esque squadmate?

EDIT: i know, exchanging a gun for a blade might sound unreasonable, but melee weapons have the potential to deal massive trauma, compared to bullets, outmatched only by explosives or pellets, which may work effectively against the undead; and if there are any heavily armored or insanely fast enemies planned ahead, melee weapons, in the hands of an unhumanly strong weilder, can both decimate armor to create large openings for gunfire and overcome speed with trick and feints that firearms are devoid of. Morever, a trained brawler would be used to close-range attacks, reacting faster and more percise to ambushes or charges of various feral beasties and such. Sort of a special arms guy that trades versality for unique advantages against the paranormal.

EDIT 2: if the characters get to be stronger than man, then a melee weapon can also generate huge amount of kinetic energy as well. Lets say, he sling a 10 kg hunk of metal at 100 m/s- about 1/3 of sound's speed. 100^2*10*0.5= 50 000. That nearly the amount of kinetic energy a single shot from a Vulcan exerts. And if he is twice as strong and has a denser weapon? 200^2*20*0.5=400 000! 8 times the power, all in one hit. And if we also take into account that most melee weapons have a significantly larger cross-sectional desity than most bullets, thanks to which bayonets still remian so effective at penetrating armor, this might even out melee weapons and explosives.
Misa ruined Deathnote. Sure, it still were a pretty good read/watch, BT MISA RUIND DETHNOTE.
The same, but with perspective applied. Read about how constructing those figures in perspective is done, and that will help you a lot in actualy making them look proper. Also, try drawing from some photos: people, animals, houses, vases - whatever appeals you.
