While his may sound a tad bit nitpicky, but those chracters have quite vauge descriptions. Neither can i tell how strong exactly they are, how fast and dexterous or robust, nor can i pinpoint the durability of their equipment. And all that would be quite important to actualy gauge the damage dealt and recived by those characters, as well as create a certain margin to what they are able to do, and what they arent.

A good example would the inability of a charcter capable of reaction and movement speed on par with that of a human to defend against a character who causaly moves at around half the speed of sound and clearly percives objects moving at speeds up to mach 3. Here we have solid numbers and solid combat, where any given charcter can have certain advatages over another; beat, or completely lose to them in all parameters.
Looks like this could end up becoming a 1v1. Do you mind posting/letting me post in the general interest checks? It seems that more people read the threads there.
If you still have the time, it's your turn.

Sorry if i sound a little offensive in my post. I was just in the mood for making Rauchnaut sound like an arrogant jock and arsehole. :3
"Clang!"

"KERBOOOOOOOOOOM!!!!1"

Two loud sounds happened, tearing up the battlefield with resonating vibrations pulsing through the air. The first was a mighty clash of swords, Rauchnaut dumping the kinetic energy of short minigun burst straight into the shadow runner's arm, and the second were a lightning bolt of far greater power assaulting the very skies that gave birth to its kin since ancient times. In other words, while Max took quite the punishment, somebody else had just been royaly fucked.

Yet the rampaging roars and flashes of lightning actualy managed to do some good as well: Rauchnaut got a pretty good view of the blade that his sneaky little friend were about to thrust deep into his chest! Actualy, the lightning bolt still brought only death and destruction, since he would see it either way, the cocky bastard nearly waving it in front of his damn face. Seriously, while Max were pulling it out of his bag, Rauchnaut had plenty of time; enough to turn him to fine paste with a roundhouse kick - that actualy being exactly what the demon did. Shuffling his left foot, which were his leading one, closer to Max, he spun around, bringing his torso away from the lizard, along with his sword, and instead, offering his boot, which would be moving towards its target's ribcage at breakneck speeds. Several dozen pounds of technological beauty and carbon beef would collide with the petty organic form of life, denying it a dominiant position in this battle's food chain by sqeezing out the lungs and heart out of it, along with shredding all the muscle with shards of broken ribs.

That, of course, would happen if Max were too slow to react to this attack, unable to move out of it's way. If he had the guts to dodge this speeding freight train of a kick, Rauchnaut would have to find another way to annihilate him.
Lets play! :^)

...wait a second
Done. Funny, but i like my post even more right now. Vos'stoorge's decision to retreat seems more natural. XD
Ok. Off to edit the post now.
And one last thing before i edit my post - the pommel would still hit his stomach at a very steep angle, and thanks to the clothes, and the dagger actualy being able to move around in the rubber sole, it still wouldn't penetrate, sliding off to his side.
I can cut out the air burst part. Seems dodgy to me as well.

But i can't agree about the crouching. If you see something speeding towards you, what do you do to brace yourself? Right, bring yourself lower to the ground. That's not multitasking, more like a reflex.

About the slash: he were already preparing to strike, so the thought of transitioning one attack into another would come naturaly to him, and as he fights with daggers and shortswords, weapons meant to be maneuvrable and fast, it would be suprising if he wouldn't be well-trained trained in that particular field. So that decision could come fast enough as well.

And the dagger stab is also pretty simple to explain: the dagger was initialy held there to parry or counter, and as countering an attack as a means of stopping it is normal in swordplay (swinging a sword at a sword), this also could be nigh reflexive. And not ripping the dagger out of the boot would actualy be counter-intuitive, as having your hand jammed between your stomach and someone's foot, along with the dagger's pommel would be very undesirable. The hoodie and longcoat would provide some amout of protectction, letting Vos avoid the pommel damaging him, and also decrase the amount of friction between the pommel and his body by sliding one against another.
Sorry for lashing out like that. I sometimes do let myself slip. :/

But yes, i get your point. And in my previous post, i actualy brought up a totaly valid argument: the air burst release was an action decided on spot, not before contact, hence, it wouldn't be reflexive, and instead, would trigger a respone from the mind, which in its turn, would allow Vos to decide to activate the air burst after he moves out of the foot's way.

If there is anything else that you think would be impossible to perform, please, point it out. You might as well have noticed something that escapes me.
