Eklipse, I think i should have some handicap now, since you're fighting me alone, so feel free to pick any of Ido's magical abilities and equipment, and i'll refrain from using them during this fight. Just don't go making me fight bare-fisted, please. XD

Also, Tharraleos, once i'll finish this fight, i think i'll be able to fight you with tier 6 Ido if you don't have any challengers by then.
Alright. I guess i am the one to blame, actively trying to aviod being attacked by JT - though the moment i'd stop stalling you, Ido would be pretty much dead, so i really couldn't do it some other way. XP
So, im thinking of to adding a tier jumping ability to Ido that will allow him to reach T6 if needed. Is that fine?
"Gee, what nice weather it is today. I almost regret bein' dead."

I think i'll refrain from joining for now. This would be my first non-combat RP in a long time, so i decided it is best for me to join something simple and laid back for now.
You do have a point here, but on the other hand, i do know approximately how fast Sol's strike would be, and thus how powerful it can become. I should've worded it diffrently indeed, but that doesn't make what i brought up in my post less of a valid point, does it? It was because the outcome of most attacks are goverened by physics that i wrote it in such a manner.
He didn't have to wait long for Sol to act, picking up some strange stirrings in the air, which, for some reason, reminded the demon of a cooler fan. Honestly, this wasn't what he expected at all, and somewhat perplexed, Ido continued to 'listen' to the motions of the air, raising his head to expose a patch of uncovered fur hidden beneath the chin - only to turn to a backwards dash the next moment. The mage charged at straight his opponent, despite there being an obstacle inbetween, and having seen how powerful his magic could be, Ido were right to assume that the makeshift cover was about to be busted and pull away from it.

However, perhaps unbeknowst to Sol, his sword wouldn't cut through the boulder in just one stroke. Adding sawblades, no matter how miniature, was a foolish decision: both creating great amounts of friction and jerking the blade around, they would rapidly dissapate all of the blade's kinetic energy and bring it to a screeching halt, leaving his weapon stuck. This could be a good opportunity to strike, but Ido had nowhere to hurry - the chances he would actualy hit Sol were too low to bother. Instead, he concentrated on increasing his supplies of Kzich, gathering all of it into one large sphere again.

As it flowed into existance, Ido made a few more preparations, tearing up the jacket to expose his chest, Ido let the fur there pick up the air's movements unhidered by clothing, slightly heighteneing his tactile senses, and then, took two grenades from his belt - one flashbang, one smoke. As soon as Sol would be within line of sight, he would try to blind him, while setting up a smokescreen behind the windmage to hide them both from the gunner's sight. This way, even if he opened blind fire, he would risk hitting them both; wether he would shoot or not would let Ido know if he really had any agreement with Sol.
Bleh, did some awful writing on that post. Still got to learn a lot. :\
Ido chuckled as he heard the two converse, Sol's pafos met by JT's diehard pragmatism; however, in the Everlasting Arena, many a fighter could afford themselves to stand in line of fire of a gun, and it could be that the windmage was one of their sort. In that case, it might've been pure luck that his sonic blast even hit - though it sure did some damage, judging by his opponent's reaction.

Meanwhile, the sphere of Kzich he had been accumulating grew to 50 litres in volume - an amount of liquid which was both moderate, yet sufficient. Pushing himself to his feet, the beastman turned around and rolled his shoulders, his gaze wandering over the boulders surface. Gauging his power and comparing it to the chunk's size, Ido gave himself a reassuring nod, and then slammed it forwards with all his might, plowing his cover across the battlefield. With the aid of his arcane power, manifested in form of Kzich, Ido had propelled it far enough to cover all but 4 meters of the distance between him and Sol, giving him an opportunity to continue battling without the gunner's interference for a bit more.

Running up to the boulder, he would spill about 20 litres of the Kzich around himself, spreading the liquid in a 15 foot radius - he had't showed his full extent of control over it, and now the demon hoped to lure Sol into this trap, ready to immeditely ensnare the fool if he would come too close. Confident that he could continue evading Sol's ranged attacks as soon as they weren't any faster than the wind drill, Ido stayed light on his feet, in a stance most comfortable for dodging.

This close, he would be easily able to smell Sol, knowing his location even if he were to stay still and silent, and bombard him with the rest of the Kzich from above, should he stay behind the rock.
