Well, as i said, i'll have some more powerful charcters on my side - 3 tier 4 characters against a dozen should be a fair match. Though this isn't what i initialy had in mind, im sure it still is going to be plenty fun.

The power level list is in the first post of the arena topic named 'The Everlasting Arena' (TEA).

A vehicle will be fine, but controling over a dozen soldiers? I was thinking more of a superpowered team clash, since the less charcters, the easier it is to envision the fight overall. Though if you think you'll manage to create a coherent structure for the fight, then you're welcome to do so. Just keep in mind, i'll stick to my guns either way and go with quality instead of quantity.

After all, i named the topic 'Squad Duel' for a reason. :P

Silly me, using terminology i don't know. Thought that the word 'squad' orignated from 'quad'-'quadra', so it were a 4 man team in my mind. Sorry for the misleading title.

So, what do we make of this?
So yeah, im looking for a opponent for a duel where both participants control multiple characters. Prefferably a tier 3-5 by the TEA listing and well balanced team with a wide range of abilities. That means no gunner only or melee rush teams please.
Well, if the forcefield does not expand to its full extent (though you didn't specify it as being able to so at all, so i shouldn't be taking this as a vaild argument), then Ido will a scant 5 meters within Sol by the time he gets to react to the forcefield. Then the two bolts of Kzich will travel only for 50 milliseconds.

Skallagrim, Eklipse, i understand that this may seem silly, but to a certain extent, it makes a fight more fair. I won't do silly things, you won't do them either, and thus, our characters are fighting the they were intended to be, and not slightly more powerful than that for the sake of winning.

Morever, these calculations are really simple. After brainstorming for a counter, i spend less than 5 minutes thinking of a post's viability, and usualy it is done while washing the dishes or going for a walk. How can that ruin anything? It's only when it sparks into a debate that it may seem unpleasant - well, for that, i am to blame.
In Is RPGuild dying? 12 yrs ago Forum: News
Yeah. Chicken may be a Jerk, but he is right. What makes a roleplay forum thrive is its community, and if anybody is to blame for RPG 'dying' (though that notion itself really is absurd), then it's first and foremost the roleplayers themselves. Mahz may have not restored the site to its former heights, but does that matter even half as much as the content WE create? Nah, IMHO. As long as we make roleplays which keep both veterans and newcomers hooked, the community will grow, regardless of the site's state.
Hrm. As far as i understand, Ido would be flung away from Sol at approximately 150 MPH, inheriting the forcefield's impulse, while also launching two bolts at 240 MPH in mid air. I cannot fathom how Sol would be fast enough to both get to his feet, dodge the two blasts, which actualy are, mind you, well aimed, and then catch up with Ido.

The two bolts travel at speeds greater than 100 m/s, so if Ido would launch the two bolts even some 20 meters away from Sol, it would take only 200 milliseconds for them to reach him. Morever, the forcefield would be covering 4 meters within 50 milliseconds, while pushing Ido ahead of itself and also accelerating him to a similar speed, so Ido would be at quite a distance away from Sol even before he is on his feet.

Plus, Kzich is supposed to be transparent. Sure, i didn't mention any color in its description - but that itself means that i did not intend it to be colored.
Just when victory seemed so close, his assault was abruptly halted, Ido crashing into the forcefield and violently flung back into the air; it looked like the windmage weren't out of tricks yet. Both of them ended up unscathed, but Sol would be on his feet quicker than Ido, and to aviod being charged down the moment he'd land, he blasted two bolts of Kzich back at his opponent. Twisting around to meet the ground with his back, the beastman would flip himself upright from this position and then continue to fire, while flicking out the pin from the flashbang he still had clenched in his hand.

Drawing from the plentiful supply of Kzich prepared beforehand, he would quickly fill the space between himself and the windmage with barrage of fist-sized blobs, each homing onto Sol at a steady 50 MPH. Slow, compared thier target's speed, but their sheer quantity would already make it hard to maneouver through them; not to mention that each and every one was manipulated by Ido to be in the right place at the right time. If this wouldn't prove to be enough of an obstacle, then he could still accelerate them to full speed - at the cost of not being able to alter their trajectory much.

A few second was all the time Ido had to win - by then, the flashbang's fuse would burn out, and he would toss it at Sol, while continuing to surround him with more and more blobs of Kzich, until a little under 100 litres would be gathered around him.
