Hi all! I'm brand new here. I've written for fun for years, but haven't tried any collaborative writing in probably 8 or 9. That being said, I'm hoping to get back into it and find some great writing partners here. I'm not quite sure what the official title of my skill-level is, but I'm probably what would be considered an advanced writer, and probably will write on average 5-6+ paragraphs. So I'm looking for a partner comfortable with giving/receiving big ol' walls of text.

. I'm not down to go into super explicit sexual content. The nature of the roleplay I'm looking for is pretty dark and gritty, and I fully understand that, so my only hard no is when it comes to writing sex. The subject definitely doesn't need to be avoided completely, I just am not looking to write erotica. Romance though? I'm definitely into that.

. Please be ok with brainstorming ideas with me, I really am looking for partners that are friendly and willing to discuss our story as it unfolds.

. Be willing to have multiple characters, and willing to do short character sheets before we start, preferably with a detailed description but a realistic/real-life reference image works as well.

. I will never ghost you, or leave you on read! If something changes and I don't want/am unable to continue I will let you know. No hard feelings, I hope, and I would love to receive the same courtesy from you should you need to take a break.

To get to the point of this thread, I'm looking for some Fallout 4 roleplays! Or, I guess, just something set in that world. I have a few plot ideas that take place before the events of the game surrounding the various factions and life in the wasteland, and would love to chat about more with potential partners. Although I don't mind mentions or brief appearances of canonical characters, I'm looking for someone that wants to create an entirely new cast of characters. In short, I'm only looking for OC content and pre-game plots. We'd just be using the world of the game as a stage for a whole new adventure :)! I'll put some of my ideas in a hider down below, but I'm really open for discussing anything new! Additionally, romance is ok with me, but not a necessity, so we can discuss that or anything else that comes up as our story moves along. Communication is key!

. Anything with the games existing factions, perhaps a bright-eyed new recruit and a jaded veteran?
. A tribe of escaped synths trying to create a settlement for themselves.
. An escaped synth and someone willing to risk their lives to save them? Or, to catch them and bring them back to the institute?
. A tribe of raiders lose their leader and attempt to become normal settlers, trying to abandon their ways of violence but finding the wasteland unforgiving.
. A single raider leaves his or her band to set off towards a better life, only to find themselves turned away almost everywhere. Their journey to find a new home leads them to band together with other colorful outcasts that wander the wastes.
. A young diamond city native leaves the stands with dreams of conquering the post-nuclear world. They find the journey far too difficult for a lone wolf, and winds up in the messy streets of the mob-controlled Goodneighbor searching for any potential alliances in the most unlikely places.
. A band of settlers is forced from their home in an abandoned vault and has to look elsewhere for safety for the first time in many of their lives.
. Diamond City life, baby!
. I'd be interested in trying something related to a character being super gifted in pacifying wasteland critters, perhaps they have a traveling act with a tranquil radscorpion, or can ride on the backs on deathclaws?
. A wasteland wanderer with unique abilities traveled with the gunners for many years before breaking away and going into hiding. They don't take any more mercenary jobs until a stranger comes into their sanctuary and begs for their help.
. A miraculously cured ex-mutant must make their way in the new world, or vice-versa, a newly mutated person must learn to live as what they previously considered a monster.
. There's definitely more where that came from, those are just a few very basic ideas :) If you have anything you'd like to try that's not listed, please discuss it with me!

I'm really only looking for partners for this particular idea right now, however, since I'm a sucker for post-apocalyptic worlds, if you have something you think I'd like, hit me up!
