Bio

Wants to RP like an damned maniac, Always being an GM in IRL has left me with intense, unfulfilled desires to be an player myself but the GM side of me seems to crave the control and world building, secondary GM positions wanted and desired with unholy thirst.

Also an unredeemable Tea loving bastard.

2018. Year of darkness
Gambling addiction is a bitch. While tea is still my favorite, started coffee drinking because of unlimited supply of it at workplace, much much easier. Writings getting rusty but imagination is still present. I am ready, WE are ready! Lets RP BUCKO´S!

Lentus barely had time to fall on one knee to greet father Arabar when the queller of voices already brought swift death to another nonbeliever. He quietly recited.

"May the might of Horus follow you always apostle!"

He hastily followed his new master on his victorious way towards the ships bridge. As they moved, Lentus checked his stormbolter, this trophy from an Dark Angels lieutenant was still partly refusing its new service in Lentuses hands. AM I NOT WORTHY?! How dare this machine spirit deny the superiority of Lentus Caestus! No, no it was not this glorious guns fault... As Lentus strode along and continued his mumblings, the lights of control consoles were growing more dominant in the distance. They were very close to the bridge now, Lentus felt he would contribute many skulls today for the fiery king who appeared at times in his dreams.
@Warbozz

Udan just might just challenge Lentus to a murder duel in order to get that sword. Or maybe he'd snag it from him when he's wounded planetside.

Quite possible, Lentus however is an close combat beast with that thing in his hands, the scheme would have to be comprehensive. And In a case they would, on their journeys come upon a daemonblade of any sort, that sword is up for grabs :D
@SillyGoy

That is some great reference, much appreciated. I would craft one for Lentus´ squad also but they are all dead O_o
@Jyoliod

Everybody in a warband the size of a company or smaller knows each others' names, unless there are new arrivals. If Quel's been there with the rest of the gang, through thick and thin, then there should be no reason for him not to know the members of Fourth Claw; conversely, Fourth Claw has no reason not to know him, since he is a warpsmith.

@agentmanatee

Speaking of which, does Quel tend to our armor, or do marines have personal slave-artificers?

Maybe we had those but considering we are defecting I wouldn´t be so sure, I would turn down no one who can do fieldwork on our armour and weapons.
As Lentus made his way trough the dark corridors he happened to hear an hushed voice, Night Lords had always been adept at tracking things under the guise of darkness. The momentary lack of some senses pushed their other ones to their limits and the ever roiling, adaptive powers of chaos had made these gifts ever stronger. Lentus strode up an level and approached stealthily towards the voice (He however knew this was an futile act towards an fellow Night Lord) Ah, he recognized the lone tactical marine as one of their new revolt. Part of him screamed loudly in his head when the prospect of another kill was momentarily lost. Maybe in time? NO! No more dead brothers! Unless they stood in the way of father Arabar? Surely not, all of them rejoiced in the absence of whispering.

"Legionnaire, you are one of Sorthraal´s men are you not?"

He barely got to finish his sentence when he heard more noises, these ones louder, not even trying to hide their presence. It seemed there was an clamor few decks below made by atleast an dozen pairs of naked, clawed and hooved feet. Lentus had no idea if the downtrodden wretches within battle barges bowels had an role to play in their uprising but it seemed they were uncharacteristically bold in their movements trough the upper decks.

Thank you for the offer, but I've been sailing the high seas with my peg leg and parrot for years now, I'm a hardened veteran with many sea worthy vessels under my command.

Next time the issue of pirating comes up IRL I´ll borrow that line.
@Jyoliod

Yeah, those are the ones.

I actually pirated the books. Thank goodness for the Internet, otherwise I'd never have read them. If you'd like, I can teach you how.

I know that feel bro, Its been some time since I could afford to buy black library books, last was "Eye of terror" by Barrington J Bayley, I recommend you to read it if you come accross it, It has WONDERFUL depictions of chaos while 60% of the story revolves around downtrodden rogue trader on his way to make serious cash by travelling into chaos worlds in the eye (You can only imagine how bad of an idea that was)
I hope the GM doesn't mind if I control the warband's Fourth Claw: Sergeant Sorthraal, Havoc Malgadon, Berzerker Bas and Battle-Brothers Vorax and Udan.

I've just read the Night Lords trilogy and this style of writing is awfully addictive.

I would guess thats ok, we have seen the depth it adds in your posts, and hey, atleast its not forty six thousand.

It happens dude, welcome to the inner circle.

Thank you, I think Im going to like it here.

@Warbozz GM mentioned that he didn't want to reveal the new insignia and warband name until after the coup. You'll have to check out with him to see if the first part of your post is okay, or maybe prepare to re-write that section.

Ah my bad, didnt see that one
