Wade just lowered his hands to face the man at a more stronger stance, as he entered through the service door. Wade just stared at the man's face. He only wondered what the man standing before him was motivated by. The man seemed peaceful enough, as he had agreed to join him in the building. There wasn't really any use in resisting, as Wade had no means of grabbing his gun quick enough, it being on a sling behind his back. His hand weapons were in his tool belt that he wore, and accessing them would not be faster than this man raising his firearm and firing.

The man broke the silence and, although Wade had listened carefully to everything he had to say, what stuck out the most was the question "Where do we go from here?"

Wade let the silence last a bit longer, before lifting both hands to shoulder level, showing the palms of his hands, and leaving his right hand in the air, while he peeled back his coat with the left. He opened his coat to where the man could see what he carried, and slowly reached into the small interior pocket, pulling out the cylindrical shape of a tin of wintergreen skoal(long cut, his favorite).

Wade carefully did so, not making any sudden movements and maintaining eye contact the entire time. He held out his hands with the can of dipping tobacco in his palms and pulled off the lid. "How about a pinch of dip?"

It was an odd peace offering, something reminiscent of the peace meetings between warring factions, though, with a can of dip. Wade hoped damn well that the man dipped, or was at least polite, because this would go nowhere fast. "We might discuss our predicaments a little better and compare skills in order to see where we can go from this meeting. But let's do so, over a can of dip." With that, Wade took one pinch out for himself, pulled back his lip and placed it between his lower lip and gums, to demonstrate how to enjoy it, and that it was safe for use.

Many people had never even seen a man dip before, and Wade had met many people like that. It all depended on how someone was raised. At least this man's reaction would tell Wade a little about the man's life.
I accidentally double threaded. Need deletion of one of the lil guys.

Any suggestions? I would just like to do something where I can take my time and post. Casual is too much "Post several times a day and every post needs three paragraphs". Well, I have a muthafuckin' job(working over 40 hours a week) and a mutha fuckin' life, so, not possible. I like to think a long time about the post before making it. I don't mind making long posts, so, HELLO ADVANCED.

So, I am asking for advice on moving into Advanced RP'ing. That would be cool.
Can anyone else be added to the server?

Wade heard a man yell from outside for him to come out with his hands up. His reaction was to simply raise both hands up, and only two fingers out of ten reached towards the sky. "Whatever. We're all looking for some good shit. I'm not stepping out there, and I don't give an honest shit if you come inside this gas station. It's yours as much as it is mine." He yelled back out. "Balls to it, if I like you, I might even share a pinch of dip with you, so fuck all and come on in." He continued. "And lastly, if there's any more dip lying around, it's MINE." He was having a little trouble talking, as he was containing the dip in his lower lip.

Wade spat on the floor and waited with his hands in the air and back turned. "You can see my hands and that I'm not threatening you, but I'm not stepping outside." He had good reason not to. There was a fishing wire that crossed the opening of the doorway. It was a makeshift trap that Wade always laid out before entering a building. It would simply deter someone a little on the way in, before they hit the Christmas tree ornaments, old motor oil, the legos, and the jingle bells. It was a quick trap he laid out, before thoroughly scavenging a building(as he would certainly be distracted by his work).

The old man would, no doubt, see the trap before coming in, as it was something more to detect the presence of ghouls. If he wanted to trap living humans, he would have shrink wrapped the doorway.

Wade had no intention of leaving the building, as it was a bit safer than being outside. The area appeared to be ghoul free, but that could change, after a few gunshots. God knows what could bring in a few gunshots.

"What do you say, sir?" He asked.

Yeah I will wait alittle longer see what happens then if it doesn't happen, I will post and attack or something which will separate us apart.

Hold up! I'll get a post up!

EDIT: I'm kind of a slow poster. Have to work a lot too.
Count me in!
My question is, has anyone ever ended a storyline? And I don't just mean "Guys this is dead, abandon ship" type shit. I mean "We just finished a muthafuckin' RP, HELL yeah". Has anyone ever gotten to the climax and ended an RP? Because, I've only been part of something that amazing two times(though I'm not a particularly dedicated RP'er, so that's saying a lot).

I know this might seem like a stupid question, but a lot of RPs wither and die before going anywhere(of what I have seen) or turn into a spam fest, so I am wondering about other people's more successful experiences.

I guess the questions after that, are, what was the ending? Was it truly amazing? Were you proud of what you accomplished? What was the plot you ended? How have you learned from that RP'ing experience? And anything else appropriate to the subject you wouldn't mind sharing.

The gas station was nearly empty, scavenged to being bone dry. Glass lay all over the floor, and the windows were empty panes. The cash register had seen better days, as it appeared to have been destroyed with a sledge hammer, and cash was strewn everywhere. No doubt, it was a last act of defiance against the old world.

The shelves were collapsed on the floor, crushed and destroyed. There was little chance of gas being left in the tanks, but it was always worth the effort. Their wouldn't be any pressure for the gas to be pumped out, so it needed to be siphoned.

The man undertaking such a task was none other than a small time auto mechanic. His name: Wade Pryor. Ex-U.S. Army mechanic. Had his share of girlfriends, but never married. He did, however, have his share of heart-breaking loss due to the epidemic.

Meanwhile, he continued kicking around garbage to find ANYTHING worth salvage. The gas station was "as barren as a 90 year old lady", in Wade's more offensive words. He finally lifted a large shelf, making a large racket as he tossed it to the side. His strength had certainly improved from all of this mess called the "Virus" or the "Outbreak".

Turning the shelf over became the best option, as Wade discovered something very valuable to him, but worthless to most. It was Skoal dipping tobacco. Long cut. Not just one tin, but a pack. He snatched the little delicacy from the floor and nearly cried from the sight. He split one tin off from the rest of the pack, carefully pealing back the wrap. He smacked the lone tin around, before slowly opening it up and breathing in the wonderful fragrance. He took out a pinch of the smokeless tobacco, puled back his lower lip, and popped it in, savoring the taste.

It had been a long time, and he could feel his eyes starting to well up from the joy, before snapping himself out of the moment and back into the real world. He pocketed the collection of dip and continued his one man salvage mission. There was still plenty of time before the sun went down and the lurkers would have the advantage.

He was beginning to feel like he was the protagonist from some book. It made him scratch his head for a second, before he remembered it from his highschool days. I Am Legend
