Well being the Gm... I suppose i am like a god to these people... In the firm of pelonor I could bless him for a short period.@Horrid Once Ellis gets free he will find one of your vials and throw it to Drizzak. Then the goblin will be able to help get the others out.
That actually works better, because I don't want Hugh to remain a paladin.
EDIT: I'm actually thinking that Hugh is more like a barbarian and he might have to be one. Just not sure how to make all that happen. The problem with him being a barbarian is he is trained, but he goes into fighting rages.
@Horrid Don't worry about that, Hugh's gonna go into his zen and atone, so he can become a paladin again.
This is the song running through my head as Hugh goes on his murderous rampage.
Hugh grabbed at the cage bars, his eyes starting to water as he grasped them. "SANA! Are you alright?" His voice sounded choked with emotion as he rattled the bars of his cage. "Please be alright!" He stammered. He felt so many emotions welling up as he held onto the bars, wishing only to hold this girl again. All he wanted to hear was her voice at that point.
The moment was interrupted by a dead gnoll entering, looking very familiar, as it looked as though its jaws had been torn open. "Oh, wow. You." He stammered, realizing it was the one he had stuffed a bedroll down its mouth. His calm reaction was done for, as he soon became angrier and angrier, as the gnoll chose Sana to take with him to heaven know's where. "DONTCHU FUCKING DO IT!" He screamed, "I WILL FUCKING RIP APART YOUR FUCKING BONES AND GRIND YOU INTO FUCKING POWDER." He pulled at the cage, prying the bars. They weren't moving, but they were creaking.
He let go with one hand and reached out after Sana threw the bars, "Fight it!" Echoing the words he had said earlier, but it was too late. The creature dragged her out the doors, and they shut behind them.
Hugh broke down into tears, pressing his head against the cage, and holding it. "SANA!" He screamed in agony. It was pitiful to watch Hugh so debased. He had been this way before. "I've lost so much. Why? FUCKING WHYYYYYYYY?!" He screamed it, his sadness giving way to anger. The anger began to build up inside. "Not again. Not ever again." He started muttering, prying at the bars, only thinking of going after her. Only thinking of the end result.
He kept prying them, and prying them, pulling and pulling, delving further into anger. His anger was beginning to take hold of him, developing into full blown rage. His rage kept him pushing against the bars. His eyes looked like the eyes of an insane man, as he pried at the bars. He ignored the pain he felt in his hands, as he felt the bars start to move. He didn't stop for celebration for a little victory. He was only focused on getting out and getting to Sana.
Before he knew what happened, the latch on his cage door broke open, and he came tumbling out. The force of using all his strength to fight through the cage had sent him rolling, and he landed sprawled out on his back. He laid there for a moment, not sure what to think, before his thoughts soon became obsessed with the next obstacle. He started scouring the room for anything he could find. Wires? Metal bars? Anything?
His salvation finally came in the form of a small pack. "Ellis, is this yours?" He said, before the contents spilled out, revealing wires and different useful items to pick locks. "By heaven." He smiled, picked up the items and threw them into Ellis's cage. "They're all counting on you. Make me proud." He gave one of his charismatic smiles, before turning around to face the door.
"Alright." He growled and walked to the door. He didn't care what stood in between him and Sana. He was tired of losing people. He wanted to leave this life and live peacefully again. Maybe it could happen this time. Maybe it would be different. That didn't matter right now. All that mattered was Hugh killing everything in that place that needed to stay dead.
With a swift kick to the spot where the door latched closed, Hugh busted the door open. Splinters of wood came flying out as it announced his presence. He stepped through the door and introduced himself further, "Hey boys, I'M BAAAAAAAAAAACK!" He yelled, before he charged at the skeletons.
He grabbed the first one and tore its head off, flinging it at another. Each one he came to, he just tore into them like a rabid animal. "I'm on my way Sana. I'M COMING FOR YOU!" He yelled it through the halls, letting it echo out, as he smashed skeleton after skeleton. He didn't even pick up a weapon. There were only three weapons he needed. His holy warhammer, his falchion, his tomahawk, and his paladin powers. He began to pray aloud, still tearing into the skeletons, "Heaven, grant me the power to smite thine evil against thy creation. Make me a conduit for your power in this time of need." Obviously he had no time for an atonement ceremony. The only thing he could hope for was a miracle.

Okay, I'm alright with this. Now I have an excuse to put Hugh on a murderous rampage. I pretty much designed him for that purpose.
