Salutations!

Hello, all! I'm Weaver, pleased to meet you. I've been regularly roleplaying for about half a year now, but my first experience was about a year or two ago with another forum. As someone who wanted a more quick experience than the usually slow pacing of forum games and play-by-posts, though, I ended up losing interest. I started using chatroom roleplays with things like Discord about six months ago, where responses are usually much quicker; stories are usually shallow in such a format, though, and the fast pace is, ironically, too much for me now. Now I'm looking for a more engaging RP experience where I can type out paragraphs without the restriction of having to get it out within minutes, and have actual character development and story arcs.
As one can probably tell, I tend to write a lot of words, but more literate several-paragraphs-of-masterfully-constructed-narrative roleplays tend to intimidate me too much for me to jump in. I'm a fan of the middle ground, where you don't have to be a great author or even a good one, but you've still gotta put some effort into your responses. I'm a fan of more lighthearted, comedic games as a whole, but I can do dramatics as well, as long as there's a bit of fun to be found among the darkness and grimness.
Overall, this looks like a great place for me to get back into play-by-post roleplaying! I look forward to being part of this community.
