Me toooooo. I just graduated college.

I graduated 2 years ago with my HS teaching degree. I could be ya'lls teacher (that are still in HS) and you'd have no idea. Dun dun dun.

Chey was still practicing when she heard a voice down below. She peered over to the side, on her tip toes and having made the giant ball beneath her stop rolling. She flushed bright red at Finn’s words, looking a little upset. She wasn’t exactly sure what to say, when Adrein walked up and seemed to be gesturing to the wolf boy. Cheyenne continued to keep quiet, resting back on her full feet and folding her hands in front of her until Vindle walked out and gave his opinion on tattoos as well. She looked a bit sad now. After all, she’d been told much worse, but it was usually by half drunk patrons and not her fellow freaks. ”Okay,” she said quietly, picking up her feet again and rolling the ball and thus herself a little further from the boys, in case they decided to say more things. She thought she’d be a little happier if she couldn’t overhear. She almost ran over Tod though and quickly stopped herself, blushing once more, a little embarrassed. ”I’m sorry, I didn’t see you at first,” she apologized, though she hardly thought he’d have noticed anyway. He seemed to be in a bit of a daze. She moved herself just a few feet further and slid off the ball, starting to roll it behind a set of the curtains where props were kept.

That's the point. Her good side doesn't mean anything when He wakes up. That's why it's such a terrible idea. That is exactly why it should happen. Dramatic tension and toxicity.

Ah, well, anything for drama, says I.
What exactly does Camilla mean by a motor?

Hehe, maybe she'd befriend Dixie in the future. That could turn out pretty twisted.

I'd rather Dixie be on her good side considering her abilities & Dixie's fragile mind!
Six listened as a feminine voice seemed rather crass, making her frown. 097… well, she was a peach wasn’t she? Six shook her head, sighing and feeling a bit of hesitation when a male voice said something about a trap. Were there even more soldiers where they were headed? What was indeed their best option? Hopefully whoever was leading them had an idea. She looked up when she heard Shin say Nice shot, blushing softly and smiling as she assumed it was for her. Oh so 097 had called Shin boy? How silly. And she was about 12? It was all blurring in her mind who was who and how to picture them in her mind. Shaking her head, she simply followed, holding onto Shin’s hand until a different air hit her face. It was fresh. Dewy even. It was not the filtered yet stale air of the facility. Were they outside? Before she could ask, 097’s voice hit her ears again, asking if she couldn’t open her eyes. Her cheeks burn red and she might have hid a tad behind Shin’s arm, throat dry before she shook her head.

”No, I can’t open them. Unless you’d like me to melt your face down into your shirt. Or dress. Or whatever you’re wearing,” Six mumbled softly, feeling as if her abilities were questioned by the girl. Like her inability to control the kinetic blasts were all in her mind. Of course, it most likely wasn’t the intention of the question, and she was just thrown off by the tone used.

”Where are we exactly?” she finally asked quietly, looking confused, the question at no one in particular.
Raina raised an eyebrow and smirked, finding it rather hard to imagine Pierce as a lawyer. And no longer partying. Well, seems they’d both changed quite a lot. She let out a soft chuckle when he complimented himself and adjusted his tie, thinking he’d done very well for himself. Not the famous faces of some of their friends, but certainly well off she was sure. At least he hadn’t lost the ability to make her smile. Whenever one of her boyfriends, if that’s what you wanted to call all those one night stands at parties, sent her into needing a shoulder, she knew she could turn to Pierce. She knew she was dumb for not finding a way to stay in contact with him after high school. Perhaps she could have even ended up with someone decent like him. ”Well, I’m very impressed,” she said sincerely, reaching up and moving his tie just a hair to the right, as he’d off centered it when he’d adjusted it just a second prior. ”I left the party scene in college. And I guess I’ve settled down too. I have to say I think high school me would be disappointed with how boring I’ve become,” she grinned. She then realized everyone seemed to be pairing up. Abraham and Abby, her and Pierce, surely Camilla and August knowing them. Even Macey and Mycha were just talking by themselves. Oh well. She was sure they’d all have dinner or lunch together and all catch up as one group soon. In the meantime… ”I hope you don’t mind but I think I’d like to sit out here and talk to you for a bit. The others seem to have all paired off anyway to talk,” she shrugged, looking around her before finding what she deemed a good spot and sitting down and seeing Mycha smile and wave before looking back to Macey. Raina smiled back sincerely and waved, getting comfortable on the sand and patting the spot next to her for Pierce.
Dixie looked up each time someone introduced themselves, just enough to put a name with a face. She had to admit, some of their superhero names made her smile softly to herself, but then again, the one she had picked out could be laughable as well. She had no idea. The robot dog seemed nice enough. The girl named Sophie seemed rather boyish in her motions and attitude. Ralph seemed rather silly, but that was always nice to have around she supposed. Sam and Evan seemed rather nice too. Beauty spoke of things where Dixie had no idea what she meant really, but she could understand that her powers seduced villains into submitting at least. That would have to be useful. All their powers were probably more useful and less horrific than her own she suspected. She didn’t notice anyone else enter with her eyes, but her nose picked up a new scent as another person entered the living room, glancing over to see a person with a fox mask just standing there. Dixie’s eyes widened, a little terrified as to why anyone would need to wear a mask. Were they deformed? How frightening…

She quickly glanced away and back at the floor at the thought, fidgeting with her fingernails until her ears twitched and picked up the sound of a chair creak. She looked up to see Sam moving to the middle of the room and addressed them all once more, saying they could all head to their bedrooms. Finger scanners and voice recognition? Wow, this was high tech. She’d never known that sort of thing existed just for simple bedrooms. After all, they could hopefully take care of themselves. Who would try and enter a hero’s bedroom without permission? Someone silly no doubt. Oh well. At least she was protected by more than her own abilities. Not to mention she hoped all the others in this house would have her back in an emergency, like she would theirs. She sincerely hoped they could become like one big, dysfunctional, but loving family. A small hopeful smile appeared on her face at the idealistic thought.

Dixie nodded when Sam said the meeting was adjourned, staying back for just a second so she didn’t get in anyone’s way who was trying to leave. After Mack and Axle though, it seemed no one was in a rush, so she hesitated before quickly slipping back out. She walked over to her bags she had left and began rolling them slowly down the way Sam had gone, looking side to side shyly at the doors until she saw one with her name above the scanner. She stopped in front of it, feeling silly as she had no idea how this worked. But Sam had said it would scan her fingers right? So Dixie placed her hand against the electronic looking pad and yelped as it kicked to life, light running over her hand. She had jumped back as well, so a robotic voice came out saying “Incomplete”. Shaking a bit, she put her hand back on it and held it there, looking like she was in pain although she was really just nervous as it scanned her hand. “Dixie Milne. Timber Wolf. Set Password” it said, making Dixie freeze. What sort of password should she have? ”Uh… Um…,” she mumbled to herself. ”Ice and Fire?” she said, her accent making the word ‘fire’ especially unique. “Accepted” said the robot voice. A click was heard, and Dixie slowly moved her hand from the scanner to her door, pushing it opened. When it allowed her in, she breathed a sigh of relief. Well, so far so good!
