Nope, 25 Just never a good student.

Yay someone finally older than me! XD
Just waiting on the white rabbit post, and then the time skip.
Chey smiled at Betty and Cici when they came to sit by her, glad she wasn’t an outcast among outcasts at least. Because then who would she have? ”How are your acts coming?” she asked the two while eating, looking genuinely interested. ”I hope I can be entertaining enough,” she said. Of course she had plenty of tricks and talent, but she hardly thought she was the freakiest one among them. Some customers came for the circus tricks, some for the freaky people. She could only hope she made her family plenty of money at the show.

After her father had left, the shock finally was replaced with anger. ”BY THE GODS!” she cursed angrily, grabbing a few scrolls and tossing them across the room. She growled as well, eyes like fire and face getting redder. ”I am NOT some ox you can hook up to a cart and expect to pull just because you tell me to!” she shouted, ripping the gold cord from her hair along with all the carefully placed combs to keep it piled up. Her curtain of wavy blonde hair fell down her back, and she ran her fingers through it vigorously, making sure every piece of jewelry had fallen from it. One of her father’s servants had seemingly heard the commotion and ran to the doorway, looking at her with wide eyes. She might have resembled one of the lions of the fighting sand. Her hair her mane, eyes fierce and teeth and nails bared.

”M-m’lady?” he questioned, looking like he wanted to run.

”Does it look like I want to be bothered?! Shoo! Be gone with you!” she said, and the man gladly obliged, running off. Ateret huffed loudly before falling into her father’s chair and placing her head on her arms that were folded on front of her.

Several moments passed wherein she took deep breaths to calm herself. So. She was to marry a gladiator. Could be worse right? She visibly cringed. Many gladiators were known for beating their wives, or leaving them and being womanizers after their time in the coliseum, as they craved the attention they once had, having trouble settling into mundane, everyday life. Then again, Ateret wasn’t one for everyday life either. Perhaps she could befriend him. Try and get him to think of her as an equal. Maybe if she showed him how she could fight as well, he would at least respect her. She was NOT having the same kind of marriage as her sister. She needed a friend first, and lover second. She had no idea if this gladiator was stupid in the head and just good with his hands, but she had to hold some hope that marrying a fighter at least gave her the slightest chance of being able to be herself around them.

With that small flicker of hope, she sighed and stood, readjusting her dress and shawl before leaving her father’s office. She passed another servant before leaving the docks and pointed back at where she’d just left. ”Do not let anyone touch that mess until my father has seen it,” she threatened. The man nodded vigorously, leaving Ateret headed for the arena with shoulders slightly slumped.

Nona smiled at her friend, picturing herself in the green dress she’d suggested. ”Oh yes, it is isn’t it?” she cooed, thinking of her own lovely dark hair resting against it, tossing her white and gold laced handkerchief to the perfect strong gladiator who would whisk her away for a night. Then she could throw it in Crispus’ face. How satisfying it would be. She coughed softly and brought the back of her hand against her lips to do so. She blushed mildly and glanced at Aemilia before forcing a smile. ”I swear if another servant touches me without washing their hands properly I will slice them from stem to stern!” she laughed, moving a bit of her hair.

As the got to the palace, Nona considered Aemilia’s words and grasped her hand in compact. ”Yes, let us take what we want. You will have Octavius, and I shall have the most handsome gladiator I can find. We both deserve it. Oh, why couldn’t WE have been sisters?” she moaned softly, as she had many times, lamenting how the gods had chosen her to live.

She walked with Aemilia to get dressed, having the palace servants dress her in the green frock. ”Watch it!” she hissed at one and smacked her, who had accidentally pinched her when pulled it down over her. Nona made a ‘humph’ sound but then smoothed her face, turning a few times for her friend. ”Well?” she smiled ever so slightly. She certainly looked like she could have been royal. For his her nose got any higher she might have gotten a nosebleed.
Dixie brought her bags into her room, eyes glancing up now and again as others explored or entered their rooms as well. After getting all her bags within, she stepped back outside, figuring she should explore the mansion so as not to get lost on a day when she’d need to find something immediately. As she was about to turn, a door shut and Dixie’s hearing picked it up immediately. She glanced down the way seeing a pale girl in dark clothes seeming to be very amused by something before speaking. So I guess the new recruits are filing in, huh. They’re really at the end of the rope if they brought us in. Dixie hesitated, looking confused as to what the girl meant. Then again, the words were too soft to be directed at her, and yet the girl had been looking at her the whole time. Dixie lifted a finger as if to respond, when Ralph appeared and said he was one of the best. It made Dixie blush and tilt her head down a bit again before clearing her throat and forcing herself to speak. ”It’s hard ta call yerself a hero I think. Ain’t that what others call ya when ya save them? I ain’t never saved nobody really, but I wanna try,” she said, looking quite vulnerable to their criticism now that she’d opened her mouth. Not only had she said Ralph wasn’t being humble in a roundabout way, she’d admitted her almost total lack of experience. Messing with her fingernails, she cleared her throat again and glanced to Elizabeth. ”Are you a old recruit?” she asked, since the girl had seemingly already been here, by her lack of presence at the meeting and calling all of them new. After she spoke her stomach growled loudly and she looked embarrassed once more, mumbling a soft “ ‘scuse me,” under her breath.

”Come on, da ya really have ta take sa long puttin’ on yer face?” Adelie said, green eyes flickering dangerously at her sister. It was the first day of school and already her sister was under her skin. How did she always manage to do that? Adelie had been ready an hour ago. Hair air dried, makeup waved on with a wand simply, and wearing a long sleeve V-neck t-shirt with some jean shorts. Her sister yelled something back about how she liked to do her makeup by hand because it was better- more precise. Adelie just rolled her eyes and was already walking away stomping her feet until she was in the living room, back sitting on her trunk. She’d sent her owl Iris ahead of her, and per her transfiguration abilities, Adelie was a millimeter away from trying to give herself wings and fly to Hogwarts too. She hated being late. And late to her was if one showed up after 15 minutes early for the time set. She chewed her lip and watched her parents who were fine and dandy just waiting on her sister, who just now bounced down the hallway, curtain of straightened blonde hair flowing behind her and wearing a lacy white cami and well, very short shorts. ”I’m glad ‘ogwarts ‘as robes fer ya ta wear,” Adelie mumbled under her breath, grateful they could finally get a move on at least before she had to hex her sister with purple hair. Like last year.

The Hurst’s drove to King’s Cross Station like muggles, like every year, and when they pulled up Adelie quickly got out and began pulling bags from the car. Her sister and parents raced to help her get their things on carts before Adelie just left them all behind. They all followed in a procession though. Adelie at the front, her sister behind her, and their two parents then. Her father was always nervous about running into a brick wall at the platform, so they always said their goodbyes prior to doing so.

”Ok. So, I love ya, kisses, ‘ugs, be gewd, don’ touch meh things, an’ I’ll write erry month,” she said, hugging her mom first and then her father with a sincere smile towards them both. She felt a lot calmer now that they were actually here, and kept a smooth face as she walked through the portal as if she’d never been bothered with getting there on time.

Boarding the train with her carry-on bag, she began searching the compartments, wondering if any of her friends had yet to arrive. ”Hmm…” she murmured to herself, tucking a bit of her hair behind her ear as if it helped her listen for where they might be. It honestly didn’t take long though to see a unique looking cat, white with black spots and stripes, stepping into a compartment. Smiling, Adelie made her way over, seeing Stella, Zef, and Calvin already there. ”Allo!” she smiled cheerfully, looking at each of them. Of course, her mind immediately went to the missing one of their group. ”Rin not ‘ere yet?” she frowned with mild concern, knowing the girl probably got caught up doing something silly and lost herself or was just not early like she was, but there was always that piece of her mind that would make her believe something terrible had happened.
Evera nodded a bit sadly when Taiyo said she’d have to get used to death. It was quite true. She wasn’t sure exactly how to feel about that either. She didn’t have too much time to think about it in the moment, as he touched her hand. Instantly, several words and sentences began flooding her mind. She quickly got accustomed to it and listened intently, looking at Taiyo’s face as his thoughts became real in her mind. She waited until he was done before nodding, agreeing to watch out for her fellow female amongst them. She assumed Taiyo was concerned because of their gender, not any other particular reason.

Evera watched her new friend get up and go check on the shrine maiden, leaving Evera to take in the others around her. One had little black shapes in front of him that seemed to be attacking each other. How odd. Possibly entertaining though she supposed. She glanced towards the back of the bus and the slightly rude boy had approached the boy reading a book. It seemed perhaps he had said something unfitting again and was getting a rather large dose of his own medicine. Evera’s face blushed at the interaction, finding the whole thing rather immature and embarrassing for them both, before the rude boy called the book one a worm and stormed to the front of the bus. His feelings must have been hurt. Perhaps he had a goal to be the rudest and this other had vested him? They were all a little peculiar, but then again, gods were too weren’t they?

She shrugged to herself, wondering who she should talk to. She could ask the man what his little figures exactly were. Or if the rude boy was alright. Or what book the boy in the back was reading. It seemed the boy in the back was trying to sleep now, and she was afraid the boy in the front was wanting to be alone, so she glanced to the one with the bandana. ”What are you doing exactly?” she asked curiously, tilting her head slightly to the right.

Also, tell me everyone, what is everyone's character's position on how they feel about clowns?

Chey doesn't care one way or the other
Chey smiled warmly back at Tod, stepping behind one of the cabinets used for the acts when Finn spoke up at Tod angrily. When Tod turned back and asked her about her act she stepped out again shyly and shook her head with a slight smile. His fascination with organs was so odd. ”It’s going well, I-“ she jumped when Grigori whistled, turning red and intertwining her fingers together to listen. She nodded as he asked them all to come eat, following the others with a gaze tilted downward but otherwise looking stoic. She ate a simple sandwich, crossing her ankles as she sat in the ring and ate quietly. She noticed her friend Cici again and waved to her with a smile before going back to eating.
