Dixie had woken up at 7am, like she did every morning, and started getting ready for the day. She put on her makeup, straightened than curled her hair, slipped on a short denim dress and her favorite boots and belt around her waist. Appearances were very important to her, for if she looked good, she felt good. If she appeared composed, she could pretend she was completely composed. Dixie looked at herself in her mirror, giving herself a pep talk about the day. Everyone was going to like her and be her friend. If they found crime, they would stop it without anyone getting hurt. Things were going to be just fine. She nodded, pulling out her Bible and praying for several minutes, almost losing track of time before realizing she needed to head to the command center.

Rushing her steps, but not jogging or running, making sure to still keep the appearance of a lady, Dixie made her way around the mansion. She hesitated a few times, almost getting lost, but she walked in a room and found some of her other teammates already gathered. And especially since Sam was there, she could assume this was the right spot. ”Umm… hi,” she said softly, a small wave to them all before leaning against a wall and folding her hands together behind her, hidden, so she could twist her fingers nervously without being judged.
Evera sat up on her bed and moved to stand , when she felt a creepy feeling up her spine. She frowned, walking past her closet which happened to have mirrored doors, only to see a black shadow behind her out of the corner of her eye. Alarmed, she looked fully at the mirror, but there was nothing there… anymore. She… she couldn’t have been wrong, right? She hesitated before shaking her head and clearing her throat, rubbing her chilled arms and moving quickly out of her room. She spun and slammed her door, as if whatever icky feeling she had would remain inside if she did so. She started to head down the hall, only to jump when she almost ran into Roxanne.

”Oh! Hi,” Evera said, looking sheepish with a light blush and tucking her hair behind her ears. She knew she appeared jumpy but she was hoping the other girl didn’t notice or didn’t ask. ”Um… so what are you up to? I took a nap so I haven’t explored much,” she said rapidly to keep from hearing any questions, eyes glancing to the side.
Eva - Her House/The Forence

Eva had eaten breakfast and watched a little tv before turning off the screen and sitting on the couch, looking around her empty house. Well… this was boring. It was her day off damn it and she was going to spend it with her fiancé whether he liked it or not. She set the remote down and got up, going to get dressed in her bedroom. She slipped out of her robe, and let it fall, grabbing some flared jeans and a black tank top. She got dressed in the simple outfit, curling her red hair and shrugging on a leather army green jacket Tony had gotten her last year for Christmas. Slipping on some black flip flops that she wore just about all year round barring December, she grabbed her purse and headed out.

Pulling up to the biker bar in her black CR-V, she seemed out of place, but she’d learned not to care a long time ago. She exited the vehicle, looking around and not seeing Tony’s bike. Or many bikes at all for that matter. Great, they were off doing whatever. Oh well. They’d be back. She sighed and decided to get something to drink inside while she waited, taking another look at the rock on her hand and smiling before going in.

Every time she walked into the bar, a flood of memories came crashing back to her, namely the night she and Tony had met. She'd been tipsy as hell and her friends had dared her to go inside. Never one to turn down a dare, she'd done it, only to see a guy at the bar catch her eye.

Eva was pulled out of her memories by sitting at the bar casually, shaking her head when asked if she wanted something to drink. "Nah just waiting on Tony. Figured he'd be here, but I'll just wait til he shows," she smiled, changing her mind about the drink. She was also glad she hadn't seen Maria or Isabel yet thank God. She already knew they didn't care for her for whatever reason.
Gwen smiled as one girl came up to the general area, but then she sat at an empty table. Gwen waited a bit longer, and her cabin mate Faye showed up and sat across from her. She’s smiled in a friendly fashion once more. ”Hey again cabin mate,” she said matter of factly, despite the girl getting on her phone as well. Boy everyone must have more friends than she did. Or perhaps internet on their phones. She had just something basic for texts and calls, not able to afford or need much more really. Though right now it was almost seeming worth it instead of sitting there surrounded by others pressing buttons. She cleared her throat and messed with her braid. Luckily, another girl walked up who looked even taller than Gwen herself and with black hair. She said hey and introduced herself causing Gwen to happily wave at her, smiling again.

”Gwen! Cabin 3,” she said, folding two of the fingers down in her wave so she was holding up 3 fingers. She put her hands back in her lap and looked up at an attractive looking guy who asked to join them. ”Of course, silly,” Gwen said, patting the empty spot next to her. It would be nice to be sitting by someone friendly enough to say hello.

Another boy walked up, this one with darker hair and blue eyes. Hey, all. Room for one more? Gwen smirked, seeing an opportunity. ”Nope, as you can see we’re all full,” she said, a playful grin on her face as she waved her hands to show the tables which still had plenty of room. Gwen began counting how many were there, and wondered if more would show up, or not. She had no idea exactly how many campers there were.
”Of course, B,” Elle grinned up at the owner of the club when he asked her about her shots. She always got great shots. It was just hard to narrow them down more than anything. She glanced over with raised eyebrow after Boogie mentioned Bambi, seeing indeed the skittish young thing was sitting at the bar. It was quite a sight. But Elle really hadn’t clicked with the girl before. She was very nice seeming to be sure, but Elle preferred fun and interaction. Not something Bambi was known for. She just took another sip of her drink when she felt arms wrap tightly around her. She sputtered a bit on her drink, smiling and laughing as Petey spun her around. ”Alright babe, you got it,” she smirked to her friend. She’d already fulfilled her time she was to take pictures, so she turned back and carefully set her camera behind the bar where no one would get to it, before hopping off her stool and grabbing Pinocchio’s hand. ”Well, let’s dance!” she said brightly, heading with him towards the dance floor.
Seamus frowned just slightly when one of the girls fell back off the wall. He could only assume she was just that shy, not noticing the bat that flew away after she did so. He hesitated, wondering if he should just keep walking, as it seemed to him that he’d disturbed them, when the other girl said hello. He gave a satisfied nod, glad he had not been completely ignored. Perhaps it was just the other girl’s nature and not him and his hello that had unnerved her. He would have to believe that in order to keep interacting with people.

The girl who stayed hopped down, and Seamus was better able to take in her appearance. Short, bright red hair, very blue eyes and tanned skin. Definitely shorter than him, maybe older? Maybe the same age? He couldn’t tell. She didn’t look younger than him though he was pretty sure. Her outfit looked fairly casual, not unlike his own, and it made him more comfortable. He was used to seeing coats and suits and scrubs. Jeans and tshirts were nice.

Are you…? the girl spoke, making Seamus raise an eyebrow. ”Am I what?” he asked, his tone simply confused as the girl came closer. He took a step back, something in him skittish a bit. Were people outside the lab this forward? With the other girl disappearing over the wall, he’d begun to believe already they were shyer. But the red head’s hands now gripped his jacket and moved to pull it back. He again hesitated, but slowly let her, looking at her while biting his bottom lip. Had he just made a huge mistake? What if his wings scared her? A few black feathers fell as he just took off his jacket, looking back towards his wings. ”Umm… I didn’t know if it was safe…” he said, hoping to explain why he wore the jacket in the first place, his voice even and on the soft side.

Gwen was just finishing sliding her empty suitcase under the bed she’d chosen when she looked up and saw a tiny little girl with blue hair unpacking on the bed against the wall.

”Oh, hi! Sorry I didn’t even hear you come in!” Gwen said with a little laugh. She tucked a few stray blonde hair behind an ear and came closer to the girl, just far enough to extend a hand. ”My name is Gwen. I love your hair by the way,” she said in a sincere voice that some may have thought was too friendly, but she had a hard time toning herself down when meeting new people sometimes. She held out her hand to shake the other girl’s hand and realized just how much she towered over the blue haired girl. It was comical in a way.

As Gwen stood there, she heard her phone go off on the dresser she’d chosen. Frowning, she looked between the girl and the phone.

”Um, just a second…” she said, unsure who would be texting her anyway. She walked over and picked it up, reading a text about orientation at the activity center. ”Oh… um, looks like we all need to go to the activity center,” she said with a shrug, lowering her hand with the phone and looking back to her cabin mate. ”I guess I’ll see you there if you wanna go or later if you keep unpacking. Good choice on bed by the way! You won’t fall off the side against the wall at least,” she said with a friendly laugh before turning and walking with a skip in her step out of the cabin and towards the activity center.

When she walked up, Gwen saw another girl sitting there. She seemed to be preoccupied with her phone, so Gwen just found a seat cattycornered from her at the table and sat with her hands in her lap, looking around.
