The bigger they are, the harder they fall. And the faster they run away, Luci presumed, as their assailants ran away as quickly as they showed up. He couldn't help but feel slightly annoyed that he ever found out who they were or why they attacked, but in the end he should really have just been glad he was still alive.
"Well, this was a triumph." he muttered as the ranks around him broke and ran away. The ones who had been knocked out stayed where they were. "Are you two okay?"
Too late, he realised that the newcomer had raised her gun again, pointing it at Alexandra. The good news was that now Lucifer was no longer in danger. The bad news was Alexandra was.
