The Equestrians' Equiis System
Energy levels in the outer reachs of the Equestrians' home system began fluctuating rapidly, rising higher and higher at random intervals, dipping up and down like someone had taken hold of the ADD ENERGY lever and began jamming it up and down like a little kid. After a minute, the source, the highest area of the flunctuation, rippled, and as the fabric of space and time, or maybe just space, wrinkled for a moment, 3 Supreme Frigate-Cruisers appeared, gliding gently towards Equiis.

The ships were smaller than the warships, and instead of the usual massive, utiliarian design of just a single body without any real 'limbs' or branches extending off, these were really a single, large tube bristling with communication arrays and point-defense, with two secondary tubes extended out to the right and left of the main ship body, with 5 wings connecting it to the ship. The rear-most wing was compromised mostly of engines, and smaller engines were equidistant around the outside edge of the front of the secondary tubes.

Three, short, stubby barrels extended out from each secondary tube, though the depth when looking straight down it suggests that most of it is hidden. The mass-drivers weren't supposed to be a clever weapon, but rather something much simpler. What can take a multi-lightyear-ranged shotgun blast of high-density spheres going at a fair percentage of lightspeed?

Other turrets dot the secondary and primary tubes, the smaller having a single barrel, the medium having two, and the larger having four. Each one were armed with miniature mass-drivers, capable of firing high-velocity high-density pellets at high rates of fire. One could easily see the part that makes it fly faster than any other ship in the galaxy: A spherical lump on the top-rear of the primary tube, glowing from between cracks in the protective plating, so bright that it's visible from some distance.

But because of the lack of armor, one could also see the tesla-coil-like shield generators, that flicker on at the last minute to block incoming fire. The ever-so-slight moment before a laser fires is the particles and energy from the laser reaching the point of impact, and then becoming a real laser, allowing shields to detect and block it.

However, they were there for war. After some time of them drifting towards Equiis at a speed that a carrier would find challenging to gain, they sent a message:
Greetings neighbors!
We're bored. Do something or make something exciting!
Kind regards, Shipmaster Kaegin

No the Dracs did not have the most advanced Cybernetics, its arguably the Triarians at this point. They had access to Meld and the Aetherii's whole library of cybernetic stuff, and the Dracs. Considering there supposed to be the super advanced science race, they have the most advanced cybernetics and genetic modification.

The Draconians were intergalactic-advanced. If this is supposed to be a much lower technological level, then why is there more sciencetechstuff? That just means that one company of soldiers that are equal to Draconian soldiers of the current technological levels would be able to take down another nation's army.

You're kind of saying that, instead of having floaty hover cars like in the last roleplay, we'll have the older mustangs and those other cars that are old for us, like 1950s-1990s era of cars. Except, you basically just said that they all have engines that would make them go into outer space, instead of just float.
Let's say... about a hundred ships, varied.

And because of that, let's say that they were sucked into a tear-thingy-majig when moving to scout/settle/attack a bandit-occupied system, and ended up in the Milky Way? That way there is Draconian tech and ships, but it's not all entirely military.

Let's say... 4 Carriers, with 4 flights of fighters [and one flight of bombers] each, with, say, 12 Frigates, 8 Destroyers, and 4 Cruisers. If this is an unusually high number, then keep in mind that unless they capture other, already-established shipyards with mines and other resource input, then that's all they will have for quite a few years. The rest are colony ships, prefab-settlement deployments, cargo ships, mining ships, probe-launchers, etc.
Name of nation:
Draconian New Caste Dictatorate of the Sanctum
Species:
Draconian
Description of government:
Caste System, Dictatorial
Description of military:
Kinetic-based weaponry on ships that focus more on armor than on shields. Mass Drivers, Railguns, Magnetic Launchers and other kinetic weapons are common, though there are a few classes that focus primarily on energy weapons and shields.
History:
After the Sanctum was attacked and destroyed, the DNCDS, or most casually referred to the "Draconian Caste," formed when several other Draconian factions began rising out of the shattering of their central command. Immediately, they had allied themselves with two other factions that made up Galactic Sectors 3 and 5, with the Draconian Caste being the 6th GC, and began fighting to liberate the burned, scarred planets of the Sanctum.

By the time the Draconians in the Milky Way sector [Galactic Sector 8] were annihilated, they had retaken the Sanctum, and Sector 4 [which had fallen into Civil War].Shortly afterwards, Sector 3 attempted to take Sector 5, and Sector 5 and 6 [Draconian Caste] retaliated, and retook Sector 3. Some time afterwards, with a mix of political and military manuevering, the Draconian Caste absorbed Sector 5, and later the remains of Sector 4. When they tried moving into Sector 7 and Sector 2, they found new occupants had taken over: The Seeders.

Following the discovery was a war that quickly wiped out Sectors 7, 2, 5, and 1. The military that remained was decomissioned, scrapped, and rebuilt into ships that used armor similar to that on the Seeders, though not as heavy, but certainly stronger than earlier models. Due to the ineffectiveness of energy weapons against the Seeders [since any kind of weapon they used short of beams of antimatter], the Draconians set their sights on kinetic weaponry. While energy weapons have a longer firing range, higher accuracy and an easier source of ammunition, kinetic weapons of the same level could be used with a higher rate of fire, a larger effect area, increasing amounts of damage, and has so many variables that it can be modified for any situation the Draconian needed.
Other (Culture and the like):
The Draconian Caste, being Draconians, have a very, very powerful religious belief in the deity called 'The Goddess,' which represents both war and well-being, and is the Draconians' motherly influence. As of late, she has been called 'The High Mother,' or simply just 'Mother,' for lack of any real fatherly or motherly influence in the lives of almost all Draconians.
"But these were not normal Draconians, these were genetically modified to be as powerful as possible. Strangely, they had no cybernetics, thus being easily killed off by any synth. Apparently, however, the human officers had far too much faith in the Draconian's abilities. "
-Keyguyperson

I would like to point out that the Draconian Empire, which was still far ahead anything the Milky Way has ever produced, had already done so. A Draconian Empire footsoldier was already the best they could be without altering their height beyond the 12-foot mark, and they had cybernetics and implants that enhanced them even further. How can you upgrade a computer with all the highest-quality, latest tech and best engineering, without making it bigger than it already is? The technology used for Draconian was ahead any of the Milky Ways' empires, even at their height.

Draconians were genetically engineered in the first place, then evolution took its tolls and enhanced the Draconians further for combat and survival, and then the Draconians themselves enhanced themselves even further, and then they began enhancing everything even more with technology.
so hey uh,
can I get a summary of recent stuffs?

YOU WILL ARGUE WITH WILSON IN A PM DAMMIT! GET YOUR CRAP OUT OF THE OOC RIGHT NOW!

I did actually make a pm conversation thingy, but duck never replied.

plus it's not really god-moding, since they were much smaller compared nations 50 thousand years before. However, with all these much-emerging empires reborn, and 50 thousand years to get a little buffer, then I would think that their fleets [which were small 50 thousand years ago, again, but are still very large compared to these fleets of under 100] are a bit better. Pulling stuff out of my ass would be me using a god or goddess to shut off engines and weapons and stuff. *cough cough*

However, the Supremes have the technology, and they have the ships, and they have the soldiers. It's not like they were set back like everyone else. They can go somewhere else, so far away that nothing that happens in the Milky Way Galaxy, so far that everything that happens in the universe as the Milky Way Galaxy, won't do ANYTHING, not even a single, tiny flash of light.

They were almost entirely unaffected.

And yes, I understand that, Monkey Pants.
Supreme Intervention
A message to all parties, directly to Faust in a way that only a very, very powerful entity, such as a demigod or god could make, and regular psionic or electronic transmissions were sent to all, Triarian, Equestrian, Chaos, etc.
"Supreme Intervention required. Current present fleet powers considered weak in comparison to our own. Psionic and omnipresent activities, cease immediately. Faust, leave the sector, or join our negotiators on our alpha ship. You will know where they are. The rest of you; send a shuttle with three of your best, a negotiator, and a diplomat. We will not permit a war of supreme beings unless absolutely necessary for self-defended survival. Any attacker will be moved to Event Horizon."

Consider China reservedAnd i'm going to wip up a app right now since I don't have anything to doHopefully this RP grows up a bit more with a GM who mores knowledgeable and can control people easier.

So, what, people are just animals that need reins put on them?
Dinh's sig says that one can't break a man as they do a dog or a horse, but apparently one can control a man just as easily as a dog or a horse.

" I offer some of the most powerful warriors the universe has ever seen and a fleet to match it.".This is national pride, not necessarily the truth. just making that clear.

That is a lie. A Draconian fleet with the same units as any of topmost 3 empires of all could still wipe them out, albeit with losses. The Draconian footsoldiers are unmatched in hand-to-hand combat [except against Supremes, since they kinda taught them everything, and trained against them], and Supremes have very, very powerful personnel weapons that you do not want to see used, both anti-tank, anti-personnel, and anti-bunker, even though they aren't the most courageous. Plus Supreme ships are massive, and powerful, and there's even that other Supreme spinner ship that's just sitting around at a central-ish point, snagging everyones' communications and sitting around like a bunch of restless fat tech guys.

And rape mode usually comes into play when one side has a better advantage. For example, if you sit behind your shields, relying on them to protect you, and you just fire and fire straight at the enemy fleet, then sure, you'll get disadvantaged. Other ships may be narrower, with powerful forward weapons, and so while you will have much more trouble hitting them, they'll be firing superslugs into your shields, and maybe even past them. Other ships may have really powerful broadside shields, with all their weaponry on two sides, so once they get broadside, you'll be bombarded too much to fire back.

If you have shields AND weapons AND thrusters engaged, then you'll be average, at best, in all of them. You'll not be moving at max efficiency, you'll not be firing at max power, and you'll not be protected at max protection.

However, if you were to have, say, a Battleship that has reactors specifically for its' energy and kinetic weapons, and uses other ships to provide shielding and others, similar to a gas tanker, to lend power to them, then they can keep moving behind a safety wall.

Or, even better, you can simply start investing in stealth tech, or disruption tech, and make it so that you won't even have to put up shields. Or, oh my god, you can invest in weapons predicting tech to throw up shields where it's needed to stop a round, instead of always having a shield up.

The Supremes are arrogant; they have big enough ships with plenty of power so that their shields are on an entirely new level. You'd have to board them [Slow moving objects such as a shuttle isn't blocked, though fighters require a control officer to open up a hole in the shield, and Corvettes are automatically admitted through the shield by merging their own with the big ships']
