NAME: MOSMIC, CONNOR
AGE: 39
SEX: MALE
PERSONALITY:
He hates it when people are needlessly stupid and unreasonably arrogant. If someone asked him why he was so confident of his abilities, and what made him different from another arrogant person similar to him, Mosmic would knock him out without too much trouble, and then say, "Because I can back it up." He's confident in himself, and generally cold and unyielding. He spends his years getting paid to kill people. He's smart, so what. He wouldn't take relish in killing, wouldn't love the sight of cutting someone up, but if he felt it were necessary or would help him, he would do it. He doesn't have any qualms about it. He hasn't really been around human beings; just soldiers who kill for money. Everyone else fights for their country and people, but not he. He knows that he will probably be considered the 'dirtiest' member of the group, but he doesn't care, because he needs to show the military that they're being stupid and stiff.
He'd be pissed as hell when he gets bitten or killed because that means he failed, and he'd more than likely punch the hell out of any zombie nearby, regardless of how much damage he takes before he falls.
But on the outside, he wouldn't say anything other than what was needed, and would disapprove of a lack of professionalism.

NATIONALITY: UNITED STATES OF AMERICA
MILITARY BRANCH: VOLUNTEER; CELL PRIVATE MILITARY
RANK: MAJOR
SPECIALIZATION: HANDGUNS, CLOSE COMBAT, TACTICAL BOW

BACKGROUND:
Originally born in Great Britain, moved to the United States by age 8. Attended school in both countries; developed only a minor hint of an accent from Britain. Went directly into the military after finishing college: valedictorian throughout high school and college. Had attended the University of North Texas. Shortly afterward, he joined the military. Worked in it for about ten years, all the way up till he turned thirty. After that, he 'retired' from the military, joined the CELL PMC. After that, he received specialized training in his interest: close combat. Handguns and knives are his speciality, but because of his skill, he learned something more: swords and a bow. After that, he worked his way up in the CELL PMC, and shortly after getting a promotion to Major, CELL sources report of a RAGNAROK. Through CELL contacts and sources, Major Mosmic volunteers and is accepted to RAGNAROK, party because of his unique skills being of possible use against this enemy, and partly because of the type of pressure that was applied whenever the men organizing RAGNAROK became unsure of adding Connor to the team.

SKILLS:
-Handguns
-Service Rifles
-Knives, swords, anything sharp
-Archery [Will not be used in the operation]
-Constructing Improvised Weaponry
-Close Combat, including some martial arts.
LIKES: Major Mosmic: "This is a military operation. Why do you need to know my preferences?"
DISLIKES: Obviously, a lack of professional attitude at a professional activity, operation, etc.

REASON FOR VOLUNTEERING:
Major Mosmic: "Because CELL needs me to, and because i have to show the government-run militaries how you take care of something new, heavon forbid, and why guns are not the solution, unless you plan to bombard the entire city and level it to the ground, and then go over it with execution squads and flamethrower-wielding lunatics. CELL needs to send one of their own to show that CELL can get things done, better than anyone else. They picked me for that job. If you have a problem with it, punch me and see what happens."

Already been cleared, pretty much. Just need the official go-ahead.

So when will the Coronation start?
The CIS New Point
Lt. Johnson sputtered out, "Hey!" as his favorite Empire of America radio station suddenly cut out, and then he was silenced as he heard the next part. "Major, you need to hear this! There's some kind of Empire of America broadcast going on that's... unusual." Major Wells immediately came over, having already suspected something was wrong by the sputtering, and the sudden cut-off of it. "What is it, L-t?"

After giving the headphones to the Major, he said, "The safest thing would be that the Empire of America is... well. They're searching much more forcefully for their anti-Empire terrorists. The most likely thing, I would think, is that someone got into their systems and broadcasted. Which means that, based on what the message says... someone's launching an offensive. Those are my thoughts, of course." Several people in the room rose their voices and agreed with Johnson, saying things like "About goddamn time!" and "So they really do have the heart to do something!", while others were "What the hell? It's probably just some prank," to "Shut it, Johnson, we don't need any bullcrap today."

At that, Johnson set it up on speakers, and for three minutes, everyone was silent as the message was played out several times in an unfamiliar voice.

The Major looked rather grim-faced, and after the broadcast was turned off by Johnson, he ordered all the on-duty crew to go back to their assigned duties, and he went to go report to the Station Commander. Before he left, he gave specific orders to scan the Empire of America, and locate any kind of conflict, and then send a message asking for a response.
Well, I guess I'm gonna drop out of this roleplay. It's just taking too long for a decision, and my character's possible uses are being mistaken for individual abilities when they are not.
Character: (Other people should do this! I'm bored)

Myth will kkkiiiilll yyoooouuu!
if you try to kill him.

At the very least, he'll shove you back and blast you with lightning while you're stunned that he just pushed you slash surprised that the gloves are glowing electric blue with electricity and lightning sparking from them, and you'll go flying back and get knocked out from either
A) the massive burst of electricty
B) getting hit in the back of the head by a wall
Myth could've growled at the men who just shoved him. He didn't take kindly to disrespect, disregard, dismissing in general, without some kind of reason. The stories his father told him suddenly became hammered in, and he knew that the Church was, indeed, the enemy. They are Relic-hunters, and do not care for the people. The plain disregard of a gathering of three people, whether friends or strangers, is a sign of such.

But he was not here for the Church. He had another agenda, one of which was starting now, from what he could hear. As the second person pushed him aside, he whispered, just loud enough to hopefully catch his ear,
"A dangerous city, maybe. But the second will not ring quite so true."

With that, he turned towards the first person, who was probably sitting in the pew beforehand, and took him in. Based on what he knew from his father and from stories and histories, this man was a mercenary. Or 'sellsword,' as a more literal term. He gave him a smile, and said, "Strange place to meet, yeah? See you around, I'm gonna go see the Coronation."

A moment later, Myth was out the door and heading away from the Hunters, and to the Coronation. With a hand on his swordhilt, and another held out before him as if he were a waiter, he pushed his way through the crowd, using what his father told him. The armor was a sign of a warrior, because it moved relatively quietly and easily, and was meant for combat, not for sneaking.. The sword, a sign of a swordsman, obviously, and of skill, based on the worn leather of the handle. The gauntlets themselves were... eery. They silenced possible retorts or comments.

Soon, he arrived at the gate, and deposited half a dozen gold coins in the guard's hand before he could say a word. The guard, in turn, nodded wordlessly and pointed to a relatively empty section. Many of the wealthier people paid more than the fee to find out the best spots, after all. Another minute, and he was sitting with a good view, opening his second bag of his remaining two pastries. Nibbling on the edge of one, he settled down to wait for the Coronation to start.
