So what's a country that isn't taken?
Australia?
If it isn't taken, I claim/reserve it.
If it is, suggestions?
Leviathan featured Nikoli Tesla in charge of multimillion dollars' worth of Royal Navy [British], and various Russian ships and equipment. Then he promptly got all the Russian stuff torn apart and destroyed, lost about 4/5s of the crew, all so that he could feed the half-dozen Russian fighting bears so they wouldn't break down his electrified fence to eat him.

And he has the Goliath tower in 'MURICA which, again, nearly killed the second airship and their compliment of crew of British origin, after they rescued Nikoli and hauled him and his research back to murica.

Speaking of which, Nikoli is kind of the main asshole of that book series. He just kills everyone in his way without even knowing it.

But yea, genetics are weird, but some of the creatures are really cool

As cool as 90% of Leviathan/Behemoth/Whatever is, I don't think it constitutes "light" steampunk, no. Or steampunk at all, for that matter.

I see smoke, I see walkers, I see strange contraptions, and for me that is enough.

A living airship would be cool though. You get to walk around in side of it, maybe use a couple messenger lizards, kick a Hydrogen Sniffer, poke a, what, 20-foot-tall Russian Fighting Bear. The Japanese have Kappa, and they tear apart ships without actually tearing apart metal- just jump'in outta the water and tearing the crew to pieces! Oh, and the British even have a whatchamacallit, a Kraken.

But, I'm never entirely sure how they got to successfully splicing animals together and creating monstrosities, whenever we can't even get a human-sized walker to work >:/
Is there a sniper rank? What does he have?
And where is a wiki for the game?

I don't know about anybody else but I'd genuinely prefer that there were honest to god made up nations in this made up world. But that's just my personal opinion.

Aye, it's always easier to make it up when you've got completely different societial and industrial changes. The world skipped right over the steam power phase; moved on to more powerful types in a jiffy. Actual, big airships that people used to get around could be numbered on one hand, I believe.

It'd also be cool for the industrial Clankers and the genetic splicing Darwinists to have a prominent place. Even the non-industrial can have some pretty powerful, and strange, fleets.
And who is Austria? Is it actually, or is it unclaimed?

Maybe, but I have always been a very viva la nature kinda girl. Destruction and enslavement < Trees and grass

He could be a Darwinists faction, referencing to Behemoth and counterparts

Wilson, we could set the forest on fire. That'd show them.

WOO
MASS DESTRUCTION
If there were already Vocator groups waiting on the other side of the lake, then most escape plans are doomed. Myth and Tyrell wouldn't stand a chance; they're straight-up fighters, more or less, nothing tactical or strategic. Just heavy armor, swordmanship, fire, and lightning. In the woods, against stealthy and fast opponents, they wouldn't be able to hold their own.

But then again, I can't quite think of anything else. A bear attacks, gets Artemis before he can call for help? Wolves? Gets stuck in quicksand, and he angers a poisonous snake?
