You have to catch Alonzo first. Then, you have to deal with the fact that he's got armor and you don't. Ballistic plates, kevlar, etc.

Plus he's got a gun. Several.

And if we were doing 'deadliest warrior,' we'd have to do it as regular rp combat. You say you do something, and if it's an attack, then you say "I throw a punch at PersonA," and then PersonA will decide whether it lands or if he blocks. Base it on realism, not on what you want to come out of it. Naturally, the US Marine would be able to keep a martial artist at a distance, but the martial artist would keep the Marine down at very close range.

He's a US Marine; there are combat knives and reinforced gloves. They are not usually trained to be melee-elites.

Dust is simply very small particles of something larger. Dust may just be really fine sand, and sand is just really fine gravel, and gravel is just ground up, broken up pieces of rock and boulder, and rock and boulders are the bedrock and the mountains. To control dust, I would think you'd have to control rock itself, and the minerals that are often in it.
