I would think the common language would basically be English, but called something different? Or would you guys want to create an entirely new language?

Sparks, I have a little question/suggestion: Would it be an idea if the merchants (at least those on one side of the continent) have formed a sort of "common language"? It'd be a practical, easy to learn language, which is however not too widespread. It's just for the sake of making it easier to trade/communicate with one another, though besides merchants there wouldn't be many who speak it. It'd be a lot like . Since it won't really be used on diplomatic mission, "translator" is sitll a profession and of course it never hurts to learn the language of your trading partners ^_^'. I'm not all too sure if this will be all that useful in the rp itself, it's more a thing I thought of for the sake of realism.

Actually with the Vocators being so close to the Dynastys borders and the long history (There have probably been spies on both side of the border) they'd likely know a Vocator by sight and would probably attack. Capture him then take him before Kheris. Where he'd have fun either bowing down and then working his way up to god or being brutally killed :)
