Bio

I'll eventually get a real bio in here.

I'm still unsure about the personality of my character. Vicious? Simply silent and cold? Idk. He'll be distanced, for sure, but there will be two things for someone to get him if they want him to be friendly: Fruit mixes, like a bowl of pineapple and strawberries and stuff, and desserts. :3

Food bribes = good with my character.

Maybe he'll be more like the lazy type, but once he gets going he doesn't stop
I think my shifter is more of a Demon: the Manticore. More sneakiness and cleverness and speed than strength. Jabs with his tail, for sure, but they aren't going to be like punches; it'll rely on lightning-speed and penetration to get the job done, than bashing the enemy's skull in.
Sorry for the delay on my character, but does the sheet have to be too terribly long? If I get really inspired by a character, I can write a whole bunch, but alas, that is not so with this one.

As long as I get the points across with specifications, I'm good, right?
Planet N1
As the creature nuzzled the Tinkerer, the others looked towards the closest hiveship, marveling at the organic creature living in space. They didn't actually look, of course, but simply turned their heads so that their senses could extend farther. In the vacuum of space, they could see almost endlessly, and they knew that if they pissed it off, there would be many more of the little dog-things.

However, they weren't going to piss it off. The Engineers lowered their weapons, and returned to the ship, making sure not to let any of the foreigners in, and leaving the Hunters and the Tinkerer to communicate. The Tinkerer knelt down in front of the dog-thing, and whispered in his language, "Who are you? What are you? May you bring peace to our planet?" It really sounded like "Whodayo? Whadayo? Brinpee-so beiobawl?"

As the Tinkerer talked with the creature, the other two Explorers and two of the three Battlecruisers began to disengage from formation, regrouping and accelerating away from the planet. Once fully outside of the gravity well, they vanished into a flash of light. It took about ten minutes overall, and they planned to follow the traces of the enemy's FTL drive and counter-attack.

Their little mind-message wasn't accepted as it was; rather, it was accepted as "HOLY ANTICHRIST THEY CAN READ OUR MINDS! END THEM! EENNDDD THHEEMMM!" And so they went off to war.
One wanted to colonize, another wanted to search and destroy, another wanted to assist the colonize, and then another one just started scouting based on rumor. Who else?

So, five accepted characters. Do we have any others in the works? How many do you intend on having before we start the IC?

Working on mine.
Just wondering, but what are the odds in the giant space of the universe that, like, four or five different races will all appear at one planet and begin dishing it out for the planet or some resource or something or the other. It's just starting to look more like people wanna join with the crowd than anything.

Cale, Dark, could maybe a hivemind go and just take everyone out? That'll be the best solution.

maayyybe... <.< Yeah, I like Anime, and I may or may not have been tempted to make it Shounen-ish (though without meaning to) via the ludicrous power levels. But then again, it's difficult to do this kind of setting without making it all unbalanced if I were to make their strengths be what they're capable of in Mythology. If that were the case then the Titan Classes would completely obliterate everything else, especially the Dragons. I had to make everythin else OP as well to make it balanced xDAlso, on a side note, the Fae Folk (or Fair Folk) are a varied folk, so while you'll find cute little pixies and graceful elves among them, the scary monsters and abominations of old also lurk under that name :P So... Give me your best shot xD T'is a shame :P Hmm... You're right. There are a few things with her "Power" section. Or more accurately, her Dryad form. Ironbark, as insinuated, is pretty damn tough. So naturally she would be tough as well (We're talking enough to withstand the blow of a Titan... or a few lows, at least). Generally, when you Shift you become much more durable, even if you're a Fae who are generally somewhat fragile compared to others. So basically, she's tougher in her Shifted form, even if she's made of plants. They're magic plants, after all ;)Secondly is her mindset. Her mind is the same, but her powers and body changes. So there's no difference between shifted and non-shifted, so healing would always be most powerful when Shifted. It is, however, a rather slow process and can't be done in-combat unless shielded by allies when tending to someone wounded, and even then it's dangerous since someone might slip past your friends. Also, as a Dryad, your abilities extend past just causing plants and such to grow; You're also able to control them, although not as much or precisely as someone who's focused solely on defense. Still, a wall of really big roots and such is within your abilities as you are a Defender/Supporter.

Concerning the personality thing about how the mind doesn't change, it actually would, for some in a certain way. For example, if I were to make my character a more vicious type, then being in his Shifted form would give him a great deal more confidence, and would quite possibly make him far more vicious than before. His confidence in himself would increase just by being bigger; armed with poison and shoot-able spikes, he may even attack his allies if he thinks he can do more damage to an enemy. Not an actual attack, but more of a shoot-a-spike-into-side so that he can catch up and take a kill, or so he can maul an enemy or even just escape cleaner.

But that's if I'm a vicious character. You'd have to actually work with him to get him to be more balanced.

So we have our nice character! We're missing the overly cocky jock, we don't have enough character stereotypes!

I might have the withdrawn moody guy who just eyes anyone who tries talking to him with a sour expression.

Or maybe a more vicious character. A manticore would certainly match the description, being vicious and all.

yea. maybe a more vicious character.
