Name: "Myth Dragon," a mercenary who refuses to give his real name

Age: 28

Race: Caucasian

Class: Blademaster Apprentice- A Blademaster is just that- someone who is master swordsman, axeman, etc., and who devotes his life to learning the weapons of the sharp pointy edges, from axe to pike, or most of them.

Occupation: Student- he is learning everything he can!

Appearance:

Weapon(s): Dual longswords, which are both in scabbards on both sides, saxe knife, which is almost like a really small shortsword, and a throwing knife, both in a scabbard on his left side, and four other throwing knives in both boots, and in little slits/pockets in his gauntlets. Also another knife in a small pocket that he can reach with his teeth on his right shoulder.

Armour: As shown in the image. Medium armor, half hardened leather, half blue-steel plate. Made by a master smith who works for his dad; uses a unique metal and a unique smelting process to make it lighter and stronger. Think like a heavy aluminum that's blue.

Inventory: Armor, weapons, a pack that carries waterskins and dried meat, with a waterskin slung over his shoulder most of the time, a belt that also has various little knickknacks, including a coinpurse of about 22 gold coins, 43 silver coins, and 14 copper coins [assuming that's the currency],

Place of Birth: Blademaster's Clearing- a small estate of sorts some distance from Sanctuary, within a forest [if there are any], and home to four small cottages. In one, the Blademaster, whose name Myth does not know and will never know, and who is Myth's father, lives, with Myth. In another, the Blademaster's smith, an old friend, lives with his wife, and in the third cottage lives a couple hired men who help out with the garden and chores and the like. The fourth cottage is the largest, with a blacksmith at the back, half of it dedicated to storage of materials and foods, and the other half a small guest bedroom, and a kitchen.

Sexuality: Doesn't like males, likes females.

Marital Status: Unmarried.

Brief History: Grew up in the Blademaster's Clearing with his father, who taught him stories of his ancestors long past as a little boy. As he grew older, these stories turned into traditions and rules, and into the rules for swordsmanship and fighting, and a little smithing taught by the blacksmith. As he reached his teenage years, he began practicing with wooden weapons, turning theory to skill.

As the years progressed, his expert father was slowly taking longer to win in duels against his son. By age twenty-three, Myth beat his father, who was a much older age at nearly 60. However, despite being 60, he would be in better shape than many men, having trained all his life and continuing to train. Myth learned everything from sword to knife, from axe to scythe. His specialty was either dual longswords, or a shield and axe. Five years later with additional training from the two worksmen who worked there, Myth learned trapping, foraging, trading, and cooking, which he had learned as a little boy, making soups and meats with his father or the blacksmith's wife.

At age 28, he set out to see the world... and maybe find some dragons too. His training would not be complete until his name was known, and he learned foreign styles of the blade.

Other:
Lol, someone's got mad.

My mech will probably be a lightly armored mech that's about the height of a 2-story building, with two great big antenna thingies that's probably about 3 1/2 stories tall, and can even remotely control orbital bombers. Light weaponry; chaingun, autocannon, and maybe two shoulder-mounted small rocket salvos. Maybe I'll replace the rocket launchers with shield projectors, if we have those.

Obviously, a command unit. Not exactly as in giving the orders, but in that he tells people "Hey, there's half a dozen guys closing in on you, RUN" or perhaps the helpful " Run two blocks down, turn left and go two more blocks, and you'll come up behind an enemy mech!", or even better, "You've got guys all around you. You're fucked. See you in hell, bro."

o.o ... I am outdone.

Indeed.

You are.

Bow.
Now.
Would a support mech be optional?

I mean support not in that it has some kind of nano-disrupter that can fix stuff up, but in that it has the ability for long-range trasmissions, so it can call in airstrikes, artillery strikes, map out the entire area and keep it updated according to each mech's separate sightings, etc.
I would like to reserve an elf!

Name: Elisimier Valenwood

Age: 333 [yup]

Race: half-Elven, half-Human

Appearance:

Abilities: Like most forest elves, Elismier is skilled with a bow and with his shortswords/longknives, to the point where a human would probably never match them. Again, like most elves, he has a good bit of magic, and would probably be called a Druid. Druid is something of a sort of Geomancer, except that instead of being water, fire, earth, or air, it's more of a nature-geared elements. Theoretically, he could use his magic, which is of the element Water, to control water and such. However, he has never practiced this. Instead, he uses his magic to work hand-in-hand with nature spirits, healing the forest around his home.

Other than that, he's an excellent cook and does, in fact, eat meat. If other elves do not, then he doesn't know. Nature is sacred, but nature also provides. To not eat meat because the creatures are living is the same as not eating berries because the bushes are alive. The forest sustains him, and he heals the forest. In addition to this, he has very sharp eyesight and shares a very intimate connection with wildlife, being able to 'speak' to them, and to 'speak' to animals that he has often healed. He understands birds quite well, as well as deer, among other animals.

Inhabited longevity from his elven parent, and the bluntness and raw strength from his human parent.

History: Lives in a forest, an unnamed forest by Elismier's standards, and has lived there all his life. Whom his parents are, he does not know. Whom other people are, he does not know. Whom the kingdoms are, he does not know. All he knows is his forest. He doesn't care for the roads, for they bring down trees and harm the land, but he knows the people are not hospitable to those who stand in their way. Generally, people traveling through may see eyes watching them, or a phantom appearing for a moment, flashes moving from a tree to another.

Other than that, he's known nothing. What he has now is either items that he's taken from bandits, hiding away in his forest, or traded with the occasional, kindly trader. The forest is, undoubtedly, one of the most safe forests to travel through. He makes his bows by using his magic on trees that are past their life, too damaged by fire, lightning or simple old age and too much weight. As it is, his little hut, a sort of large lean-to next to a very large tree, extending all the way around with a little stream running through it, has probably a dozen excellently-crafted bows, which weren't even crafted, with all sorts of runes of nature and animals. Over four dozen arrows sit in a basket woven from vine and sticks, each set of 6 arrows with a different kind of fletching, ranging from letting an arrow fly more accurately, to letting an arrow fly faster.

Eventually, he heard through a little bird [literally], that people were fighting again, 5-two-leg-round-ear-giants-leaf (clothed human commoners) "offended" (Attacked) 2-leg-round-ear-giants-in-shinystone (Iron-armored human soldiers), and very quite concerned, he did nothing.

A year later, this seemed to happen more and more often, and indeed, iron-clad soldiers began appearing on the roads more often. Disturbed, Elismier finally came to a decision, with a bit of a push from the nature-spirits to go and find new nature, and to make sure nature is safe. War, they say, is not good for nature.
I just made it.

Anywho, if I get accepted, do send me a PM.
Where's Keyguy?
Name: MOTH, originally, but the meaning of the name was lost when the founder got into a fight with his wife, so it's MOTH just without the words actually known.
Number of Members: 157,390 personnel.
Type of Group: PMC/ Paramilitary/ Progressivists
Cause: Earn money, stay powerful, don't be well known to the world at large
Location: Scattered compounds throughout Brazil, multiple islands off the coast of different countries that are purchased under different names, with hideouts in various major cities across the world
History: Founded shortly after the M1 Garand was designed [for they who helped design it] and simply branched off as members of the US defense and research agencies, figuring they could make more money on their own. They called in like-minded people from various organizations in the US and across the world, and simply began expanding and getting hired out, primarily by agencies like the CIA and the KGB to do things that they didn't necessarily didn't want to be caught doing- private military contractors with trained agents can carry out missions as an independent party, and can't get a nation blamed for something. Safer for them, maybe more expensive, but also helps with keeping relations with other places without jeopardizing it. After that, they just kept on going, pulling in serious money from Russia and other communist countries, while feeding off of first-world democratic countries with well-placed agents to get the latest technology. Occasionally, they'll topple a government who owes them a government, more often by supplying a rebellion or somesuch.
Leaders Name: General Dmitry Sharkovosky
I'm gonna make a PMC. Can be hired as a private military, or as agents or sabotage peoples.

Useful for nations to hire them out, so they don't risk getting a bad rep, nor without having to lose men or equipment.
