I'll eventually get a real bio in here.

Varren goes to orbit the battle and try to take out the second threat, while the Explorer, which is very heavily armored, moves to take out the smaller ship that is obviously ready to battle. Explorer's most forward sections are the most heavily armored; there are no shield arms, just some really thick plates of advanced armor. The kind of armor that you wouldn't destroy with a couple hits, mind you.

And, I didn't quite expect to have so much damage done by the particle cannons/lasers, that was Kyelin's doing. The Explorer is more to keep fighting, despite all damage taken, but not to dish out so much damage.

Sorry if that's too op for you. They would have better tactics, but they just now had to fight anything. They've been reclusive for hundreds of years; they've had nothing to fight against, no reason to develop advanced tactics.

You should be able to have individual characters who are movie-level. I mean, I do have a character who destroyed a weapon that immobilized who knows how many soldiers by charging it head on with a pistol. She also killed a dictator. She did both of these at the same time. Her last name means "Famous Warrior", and she's Russian. She also grew up in Siberia. If there's anything more movie than that, then I don't want to know what it is.

True, but not having a squad of them tearing through another player's entrenched soldiers.

Says the guy who wants to explode my Captain.

I want to talk to him, figure out what they're doing. Not blow them to bits.

Besides, what would you do if a foreign race came onto your planet and started marching on your cities? That's serious business, especially since the last would-be invader deployed biological warfare. There's not a lot of them, you know.

And what were you planning on doing? Walking up to an entirely different species and ask for a phone?
Duck:
*Meets stranded, weary-wary unknown people*
*Decides to kill them because they are frightened of the army you're massing around them*
*Automatically assumes they are nothing compared to him*

By the way, if you had laid mines, then a bunch of idiots in skinsuits won't make it very far. And since the Septonians shot at anyone that came too close, I doubt that your guys can just walk right up and start punching them. Being able to reach out over like an acre and tear a piece of heavy metals compacted into a turret with the Force. This ain't Star Wars, and movie characters are always OP. You can't be OP here, so what you see in movies = nada.

Also, Kyelin, how did you fire a weapon to pierce straight through the thickest of all my armor? Even thicker, since from the angle you fired, it makes that armor up to 4x thicker, and much harder to penetrate because it's hard and flat, and with a great deal of slant. And would their Disrupter cannon be able to kill them? They might not have brains, but the connection between Core and ghost-mind-body-thingy might be severed in the process.

But yeah. You just punched through the thickest armor in the roleplay [since I'm pretty much the only nation that has JUST ARMOR, and made a Dreadnought so heavily armored that it could only have seven weapon emplacements] with a single shot from a cruiser, which is a little smaller.

So, it's coming at you straight-on, making it almost a large frigate-sized target instead of a Deadnought sized, andthat poop is really thick in the front.

Ok, I need to point out to you other two that are newborns that, as there have been said many times, newborns go into a feeding frenzy, and probably won't be completely sated for some time. Instead, you two have
Angel) Not not drunk any, and while I suppose this is possible, once you'd take a sip, you probably wouldn't be able to stop yourself
Anrah) taken a sip, but appeared as if you were just taking a sip of a good drink, not something that your entire body is screaming, including your mind and dead soul, to get at.

William drank about a bowl and a quarter, and he's still in the mood, as what will be said in my next post.

Reading over your post it seems as if your forces have taken no damage what so ever.

That's because in your post, you pretty much said all his people are falling like dominoes to your self-proclaimed superior forces.
And for those of you who might disagree with my use of tree cutting, remember:

Massive trees means massive weight
That means it's either
A) hollow
B) really lightly structured, like if regular trees : our bones :: this tree : bird bones
Planet L-1
Near the City_____________________________
The walker regiment had already passed the crashed spaceship; a single general combat walker and a troop transport had been left there, searching the wreckage for anything. The Varren in orbit kept picking up messages, and while the TInkerers tried to decipher their meaning, there was no way of reference to ever establish a translator. They were, naturally, confused and frightened with everything; there was an extremely small chance of them meeting so many people at the same time, and they currently had no way to translate with the newest ones.

On the ground, the walker regiment was actually only slightly faster than men moving on foot. Each walker was heavily armored, as per their standards. While other races' walkers might be fast and powerful, these were slow, strong, and heavy. Take a fighter and crash into it from Mach 5; you'll just knock it off its feet for a moment, and maybe knock some stuff around. Both GCs stayed close to the remaining transport, and the railgun walkers had already taken position.

After 15 minutes of chasing [5 minutes after being sighted], they got really tired [and their buddies had yet to show up], and so they called in so help.

The Varren, in orbit and just now passing overhead, was watching the entire thing. They received permission from Command and from the ground team to fire a warning shot on the unknown entities who were currently marching on their city.

About a hundred feet in front of the unknown entities, foreshadowed only by a momentary whistling sound, one of the very few giant trees scattered here and there abruptly exploded.

That is to say, a supersonic railgun shell came down from the heavens, broke through the canopy and hit the tree trunk a short distance from the bottom. The result was the shell continuing towards the ground, tearing the tree in half and completely demolishing the lower sections of the tree. Very, very slowly, the tree began falling on a perpendicular course, falling in a way that still left the path open to the nearby city, but still was a great warning:

You are much, much smaller than this tree.

No.
