I think my Draconian would beat her. She'd swing, he'd jump out of the way and launch two knives towards her. She'd rush, he'd slip to the side, possibly behind a tree, and fling a throwing axe at her head. She'd try to get in close and hit, and he'd either retreat, or use the environment to trip her up, get behind her, and stab her in the back.

Although having a character that is firmly set on killing anyone and everyone wouldn't be good in a roleplay where the rules state that you can't critically injure someone. You'll have to give it up sometime before the other player gets real damage [which should have happened, whatwith giant sword to the side], or you get killed, or the other player agrees to die.

I still don't like that bit. Taking a GIANT SWORD swinging at you from a superduperdemon to the side and not being cut in half is very unlikely. Even I'd concede that that'd probably cut a Dragon's foreleg to the bone.

Speaking of which, I'm going to make a dragon character. Maybe another Draconian character, a shaman or something.

EDIT: Nevermind, he'd probably die. But he WOULD wound her, for sure. Unless you've got superskin too

Numero dos: And you are not capable of losing, obviously, unless it’s IN a game, in which you spam everything so that it would take so long to kill you, that the enemy player would probably just leave from the ridiculousness of it all.

I’m far from perfect, and i don’t need to be as dramatic in announcing it. In math, if I have not a good teacher, I fail horribly. I suck at chemistry; I also suck at real relationships, or making real friends. You’d like me better in real life, unless you hate friendly somewhat smart-asses- I don’t criticize nearly as much or anything.

My idea of fair is where one will not or cannot bring in thousands of ships against a single, under-200 force, that are trying to break through an insanely strong shield that, even if it does go down, comes right back up a moment later at full strength.

My idea of restrictions are to allow everyone to have a chance if someone attacks them, not to allow them to instantly bring in thousands. At the very least, have the post where they warp in, and start to recover from the long jump, which will at least give the enemy time to attack before you curbstomp them.

The latter obviously isn't a bannable offense, as it usually has two offenders at once. If the argument is broken up or ends, then it;s all good. The first is far, far more serious. If someone has a breakdown, then who's to say they won't have another? Who's to say they won't have one in IC?Combined, those rules are a bannable offense. Possibly not perma-bannable, but still bannable. Now, when someone implies that all the other roleplayers are "Doing it wrong" because they're not adhering to what that someone wants, THATS it. Perma-ban. Again, we can hold a vote right now if you want. See who wants Wilson back. I don't have any objection to that vote taking place, nobody will get punished for voting "yes".

Duck hasn’t had a breakdown, and neither did I? I just got really pissed, and wrote about it. If I were MAD, if I had an EMOTIONAL BREAKDOWN, and I have had one before, got suspended and had to go see a ‘Shrink’ for several weeks before I could return, then I wouldn’t be here right now. An emotional breakdown is just that- a breakdown. You fall apart. I didn’t fall apart- I got pissed and wrote about it. Yes. I got pissed and wrote about it, why, and why it’s getting stupid.

Secondly, Keyguy, by your statements, Duck deserves a ban for at aleast two break downs. We are all human. What do you expect to happen when we are cornered? And if needed, I will give proof of several kinds, in character posts, OOC posts, opinions of other players, etc of Ducks power playing and completely outrageous bullshit. By that I mean, I don't know how to describe utterly fake and unbelievable actions even with magic in play.

I just want duck to not have supershields and come in with massive fleets to stomp enemies like a fat guy would to an ant. I’d rather like roleplaying with him if he didn’t have all that. Comes to a new world, silences them all and make them feel relaxed and such. Creepeh!

Honestly, I am sorry for my outburst. I shouldn’t have called people retarded- that’s cause I’m retarded, yeah? I saw what I thought was a problem, and I saw that the same thing had been around for some time. Other people may not see it that way- they stay out of war, and they do fine. Or, they simply get everyone to like them, more or less, so that there’s too many people in orbit to ever get harmed [Nouvellians].

I saw what I thought was a problem happening repeatedly. When no one adequetely explained it or why it was happening, I get angrier and angrier, especially when no one else really speaks out against it [not talking about you Cale].

So I am sorry. #MeStupid. But there haven’t been any REAL explanations, at least not that met what I was having a problem about. Here, this is what I consider a real explanation:

The Grand Fleet is actually at New Condia, but the Terrans don't want you to know that.As for Duck's peeps, I think it actually makes sense. The Eternal Union never had war, mainly because Faust. As a result, they are shit at tactics. Also because of Faust, they are united by one ideal. Think about what happens when the "leader" of a religion says something against a group of people. People agree with them out of a sense of duty. Others disagree because they see flaws in other things that have been said, and thus see no reason to agree with a statement that says they should hate somebody. Now, imagine if everything ever predicted by that religious leader happened. Imagine if everything they said before was scientifically proven fact. Nobody would question this statement, because they were never wrong before. Now imagine if this has gone on for as long as anyone can remember. Yeah. If you ask me, that's what's going on in the Eternal Union. The people are more or less blind followers of the leaders, doing whatever they are told because they have never known anything else.

Question- am I the only one that thinks the little battle between Mr.PaleUnknownRace versus Ms.Demoness is more at home at an anime cartoon/vid than in a roleplay? Sorry, just speaking my thoughts, it IS a bit unrealistic though, even with thick skin. Swords are meant to cut- thick skin doesn't stop cutting, it just means that you have to cut more to keep from getting hurt. Scales, or strong, leathery hides would keep penetration out, not thick skin. If a bullet pierces through an inch of metal, then having a foot of metal doesn't mean the bullet stop penetrating. It just has farther to go before it breaks through.

My thoughts, not me trying to criticize or somesuch.

Alright, you get that app finished when you can, and I'ma start the IC- so that everyone can start getting used to their characters, and explore the time. Note that the people are terrified, and the newcomers are a relief, are a dawn of new hope. This doesn't mean they'll necessarily give you free everything- farming is one of the scariest jobs, being outside the town limits, in the demon's territory, but you may get a meal or two free, and a good deal of attention.
