And if he'll never use the power, why does he have it? And why is he taking those classes if he's already a master? You character literally has no reason to be there- he's already supermaster, after all.

Eddi tends to have characters that are bigger than life but I have never seen him take advantage of that. I admit I allow him more leeway then I would someone I didn't know. I will say that I'm sorry you feel you can't join us because you disagree with his one character is played. You have a valid point about his personality not matching his background. But I'm sure there is a reason for that.

Oh one can make a reason for anything, that's why I think it's so damn unfair to have an overpowered character without real restriction and/or flaws. You could kill someone instantly, if you want to. It doesn't matter if he will or not- he can do it, and that's the problem.

I see what you mean, but that's another thing- very similar to playing favorites. Grammar Nazis and being staff on Minecraft servers have taught me how to write properly and to be fair. It's a shame that others don't see fairness as needed as I do.

Apparently someone ignored the whole Faust going from peace and love to Tyranny and Chaos. There is a actual legit reason this time. And I wouldn't invade, simply put it I send a ship in with a warp drive, without the whole preventing the particles from colliding with the system and causing a chain reaction to destroy the entire thing.

Oh, well I suppose that's true. Now you're just embracing it.

And don't you remember Duck? You do something asshole like that, you'll probably get banned, cause there ain't no way I'll give consent to cheat and blow up my race.

I am just going to use the threat of having your sol system destroyed, I would not actually do that.

Even with a thousand ships, you'd take more casualties than within reasonable acceptable casualties. If you continued to persue the destruction of the Valkian home system, then you would truly be a stupid roleplayer, to take heavy losses against a race that is, by the actions happening so far, are simply abiding by a general rule in terms of territory. Don't go into someone else's and start shooting and smoking out the natives. The Valkians may fall, but the ratio of Valkian military units dead to EU military units dead would be a very large ratio.

The Eternal Union is looking more and more like a military empire, not a magical union of peace-loving and prosperous peoples. Are you seriously going to keep going that direction, like all the reboots of the same thing as before? But, ah, well, it's what you're familiar with. Just go ahead and rewrite the application- military empire under the pretense of a peacelover people.
And now I think your character is overpowered, and in need of a great deal of power-blocking.

At the age of 19, a master in lightning and magnetic fields and in the art of the sword goes to a school to learn how to be an adventurer. I think not. To become a 'master' in a SINGLE area, you'd have to train for years and year and years, not just train from when you're perhaps ten or twelve, and then by age 19, you master pretty much everything you need.

Come on. A teenager being a master at swordsmanship and a very extensive variety of magical tricks?

You fight Andrej, your St Elmo's fire will dissipate once it nears him. He'll throw a throwing axe, and you'll just try to deflect it with lightning or some other impossible thing. The throwing axe, enchanted to not be affected by magic, will then impact your head, and you're dead.

Converting oneself into an energy form and then reforming somewhere else isn't a novice skill. Hell, I hadn't even heard of anyone else doing it, honestly. And there is a difference between have control over something, and being able to turn themselves into it.

Teenagers are not masters at anything unless they are a literal and bona-fide prodigy, which I read not, and even then, a prodigy simply has a great deal of raw potential and a great deal of natural skill, not instant mastery.

I didn't look over the applications at first- just went through to match name and appearance. But now that I read them, then, well, this roleplay is a bit less appetizing with that kind of character. Really young, really powerful, really smart.

Mastery of less tricky things such as fire, or water, are much easier. But energy, and therefore lightning, is far harder, because it's there for a moment, and gone the next, every time. It's spontaneous, it's tricky, it'll slip between your fingers without the perfect concentration, and you can do all this so easily you're not even thinking about it... and your character is nineteen.

I love magic and all that fantasy stuff, and I can understand powerful characters, but I AM a realist- I will NEVER be a really powerful mage without giving the character pre-roleplay time to actually master it. It's not fair, it's not reasonable. If that's how even one of the characters will be, then I would like to withdraw my application right now. I'm in roleplays for a real story- not to use be like Master Chief-strength ten year old in a field of Unggoy, I think they're called.

/end very minor rant of me not liking OP/PG

On that note, am I accepted or denied?

Sorry, no idea.
And keep in mind that unless the Adventurer's Academy is really lax, it's unlikely that a boy and a girl will room together.

Really? all he has seen is lightning teleport! If thats all he thinks he can do he's in for one hell of a surprise, anyone heard of Saint elmo's fire?

Lightning teleport, which I have never heard of and neither has my character. And anyways, all it does is give away the extent of your power, if you can use electricity to move you from one place to another with no effort at all.

Coming against an aged survivalist like Andrej would not fair well for any, including mages, powerful or no. Beware the enchanter, for he can use any power binded to any item, given enough time, energy, and knowledge. Andrej will have the time and energy, and can search for knowledge. If anyone would like to duel my character, as some sort of a who-are-you, prove you know your stuff before you criticize, kind of duel, then do tell. It is unlikely that any teenager will be able to beat this aged enchanter.
Ah, okay. Wasn't clear in your post, see.
