Riiiight. Those are some pretty major changes to Lazarus you made there. I have to say, some of them I find rather troublesome as they somewhat breach the main taboos of this world - essence and matter can't be altered. In that sense him being able to create specters, thicken air and such are clever ideas but slightly god-like in nature. I don't want to be a buzz-kill though as I see you've put a lot of efford into your character.

I'll consult my co-GMs and see if we can find a way for most of this to work. You might have to give up on some of it though.

also just a warning, essence and soul are basically the same thing here. Essence is the life-forse (and him manipulating that in living creatures is a definite no-no for it's the power only given to the Gates and Gatekeepers). It's a raw material for demons and such, much like blood. It is unique to everyone, though and it hosts the soul. However we've never assumed that dead souls could be brought back and communicated with and while I don't mind the idea just keep in mind that souls are still mostly a mystery to everyone and they leave the essence after death first. (Aka they vanish from it at various speeds but pretty soon after death and later so does the entire essence too).

As for Lazarus and Mary, it would depend on whether they're expected or not. And it'd most likely be Lily or some other teacher/administrator that deals with her signing in. Depending on how you want to go abou it, they might be or not be expected at the ceremony, evoking a different reaction from the guards (which I assume are from the Champions of Light, was it?).

Also, thanks to Syn for reminding me. All characters are up in the first post save for Mika's which are still being reviewed. I haven't read Aeris' CS yet so I might ask Cela to edit anything if needed but the rest are ok.
