As Jest mentioned, the reason for the overbearing amount of information and setting is due to our wish that every sub-plot that gets made will become a part of the great flow. The story may spread and spin in countless way, but it will still be bound together when neccessary ^^
Just get on the merc bandwagon and there will be paths logical to follow.

Outer History

While the galaxy is vast, and star-systems exist in myriads, two empires stand out from the rest. The most notable one being the Sahlincirle empire, known throughout much of the galaxy and encompassing hundreds of stars. The other one however, is an empire shrouded in darkness. While the existence of the Lenromhe empire is as widespread as that of Sahlyncirle, what is known of its inner workings are less than the hostily encounters between the two.

After the war against the demons ended, all stars and systems banded together with their closest neighbors and formed a balance across the galaxy, all knew of the Sahlyncirle empire for its part in the center of the conflict. And while there are systems that have never had contact of any kind with that empire, all legends, myths and stories hold its name. But there are no stories of the Lenromhe empire. No age-old scripts or relations. None know when the dark empire emerged, or when it managed to supress and dominate all nearby stars and systems. During the last thousand years, its movements have however become more apparent. As has its hostility and agressive colonization of all opposition.

When the Reshkolc expedition encountered a planet under Lenromhe rule far out from the borders of the Sahlyncirle empire, but still close considering the supposed distance between the two capital planets. They were immediatly met with a declaration of war, a war against their empire itself, with no explenation and no remorse. The situation has since then continued to be a war of attrition, as the Lenromhe empire seems more focused on suppressing and putting star-systems around its other borders under rule. But the time will come when it wages direct war on Sahlyncirle.

Yes, which makes it a question of changing between dragon and dragon~
I believe there will be halfbreeds/genetically altered/yada yada... so the fact remains to be seen how the Jest implements it.
Anyways, it will be interesting nonetheless.
Now to get back and work on my own CS.

Yeah, I know of the problem, thought that the site didnt have it any longer.

Oh, and regarding the mass, it thins out over a bigger volume, which means a lesser density directly afterwards. and the change back is the problem as it causes huge amounts of tissue to be useless, some parts would be able to logically ease back, but it would require a skeletal structure enabling it. Other tissue would basically fall of, like a felling of the old skin. messy indeed.

Oh and I guess I misunderstood as I was focused on a change in appearance and not just in stance ^^
