No worries bro, it happens. Since we'll be extending the collab' then I'll ask everyone's opinion on this, should I post what we have so far and add on from there? Admittedly, it's just character stuff between Cub and Hravlar but as, in the past, collab's have been notorious for slowing us down I figured I'd ask.
Also: I just asked my friend who lives in Portland and he said all the buildings are like one to two stories tall and there are like fourteen bridges across the river in the middle of the town which sounds to me like a perfect excuse to have "jumpers", basically parkour mutants who move quickly across the roof tops and bridges by bounding through the city. North of that is Beavertown (mutant beavers!) and South is all the hipster organic chicken farms (mutant chickens!) Alternatively, Vegan Wastelander Coalition.
Here's some ideas off the top of my head that might be fun:
-Wild brahmin herds, big nomadic offspring of Montana's current day cattle ranches led by buff ass "bullmin" who constantly clash over grazing territory
-Big ass yetis from North Dakota to Minnesota living off the unkempt moose and deer populations
-Lake Superiour's levies were all sabotaged and Wisconsin is partially flooded, Chinese spy feral ghouls in the dams' mechanisms from the Great War
-Concrete Jungle, trees growing through the sidewalks, everything just picked clean in Michigan since it's already been looted and left for dead as is. Ironically barren in its lushness. The only actual usable stuff is owned by the outcasts of the yetis who wear car parts as armour and carry axels as clubs
Scrap still wasn't convinced the others were necessary but if Haylee wanted them he wouldn't complain. Deep down, though he wouldn't admit it, Scrap was grateful someone else would have to give up their junk for the repairs. Selling his weapons was one thing, that could save someone's life someday, but leaving it to power some underground relay didn't seem that illustrious of a fate to Scrap.

Admittedly, he wouldn't know how to fix the relays themselves without some poking and prodding anyway; Scrap's mastery of repair boiled down to knowing how to listen to the parts he had. Every bit of junk had a story and a dream. Most just wanted to hurt, those voices were often the loudest, those Scrap would turn to weapons and sell them across the wasteland. Sometimes though a part had bigger aspirations. Maybe a part would want to be a doctor or a healer. Scrap could easily fashion it into a rudimentary water filter or an improvised food sanitizer. It wouldn't be as good as the real thing but it worked.

And that's all that mattered. Every junk has a use. Even Scrap.

Especially Scrap, he reminded himself.

Zero said I would like a schematic of any and all technology that may be of use on this journey. I have many schematics in my memory banks, but I don't have anything that could produce the power necessary to drive this.

That didn't sound much like "helping" to Scrap!

Pulled from his thoughts, Scrap clamored to be heard over the others, his growing concern restricting his vocabulary and tightening his chest. "Haylee! Scrap want schematics too!" Frantic to make sure his objections were noted, he called again. "Haylee! Voices need schematics!"
All valid points though I hasten to remind everyone Scrap's only lashed out at Sabin so far and only then for pointing a goddamn gun at his face and besmirching his good name. All things considered he'd been a gent. Still, I don't see him convincing Poe to share such intel easily. I s'pose we could split the difference and have Scrap spy on Poe making them though he's likely to have at least a few mines lying around out of sheer habit. It's quite a pickle really, were it anything else I could handwave it away but collecting scrap is what his psychosis demands he do. What if he gathered the materials himself in exchange for the schematics?

As for the weight, Atomic and I were actually discussing something along those lines quite recently, it should be fun.

Edit: Fuck it, we'll cross that bridge when we get to it.

Ah, right, with that I should probably mention:Poe will be able to repair/maintain weapons and equipment for people too stupid to do otherwise, :P and due to a generous donation of special technology from Mr. House, he will in fact be able to make custom weapons from scratch. He's paid by commission by House and Tenpenny, so the only thing he needs are raw materials. I was going to have him hand out a shopping list of valuable materials for the party to scavenge for while out and about. So if you can think of Custom Items for a particular location, that's great. If there's a particular unique item you specifically want your character to have though, just run the request by Poe. That way you can make random cool things for all the locales that you might not necessarily want, but someone else would be interested in.Also: Dibs on the State of Missouri.

Alternatively, bring junk to Scrap or he will eat you.

Edit: Actually, Scrap might be willing to play along as long as Goggly Man showed him how to construct these new items as well, then it's an investment in later junk bartering; would that work for you Terminal? My only other option without breaking character would be to Nightkin around and steal all the materials, then no one's happy.
Cheers to Democracy *eyebots away to catch up on reading*
Back from work, gonna read up on everything I missed. Did we decide on a route in the mean time?
One last note, I realize Scrap carries his junk in a sack but I prefer calling it a satchel. "He hoisted his junk sack" makes me feel like an eighth grader writing smut.

Sshhh.House recovered some trollies and had them sent to New Vegas. He restored them, and so those are the ones we can use, from there.Don't think about it too hard. >.>The DC Supermutants are ENTIRELY unrelated to the Master. They are all products of Vault 87 - they have nothing at all to do with the Master's Army or the First Gen supermutants, the end.

You wrong human! All Super Mutants bound by the Unity! RAAAUUGHH!!

But yes, this is true.
