Metosi breathed a sigh of relief as the men walked away. The last thing this party needed was a warrant for their arrest on their first night in Falkreath. He smiled at the bartender once more. "Maybe after I've conducted my business then, my lovely bartender?" His smiled turned into a broad grin.

He turned to the Khajiit. "My apologies, Qa'Ra. I had no idea what simply talking to a woman could incite in this land." Metosi walked across the tavern. He wondered if anyone else would try something, because of the bartender or Shinon's call. The situation might require a bit more discretion and he wanted surprise on their side in all affairs.

"At least not if they value their lives," Metosi said, chuckling slightly at the terrified faces of the men. That momentary pall over their faces almost made the diversion worthy. "Greetings Bildam, now let's get to the matter at hand."

Action: approach Bildam

When the man had pulled his gun and sword, Silas had immediately pulled out an arrow and knocked it to his bowstring. He murmured a low incantation in a melodic language. A shimmering wall of light appeared in front of Silas. The barrier was a smallish orb that moved with Akkina, givering her about three feet. The spell didn't allow projectiles and hostile beings within the small dome of protection.

He heard the sound of fighting on the other side of the smoke. The man had not fired his weapon, but he had heard the quick whips that came from an experienced hand at the sword. After a score of breaths, he didn't hear Randy's footfalls and the now familiar sound of his gauntlets. Silas guessed the pair had run off, with his friend in pursuit. Hopefully the energetic man didn't take any risks. "Akkina, we need to get you inside. I can't protect you out here in the market with all of these pathways and alleys." He kept his back to the alley for now, checking the street before nodding to Akkina. "I think we're safe to cross back to Humphrey's now, we should leave."

Titan watched the encounter from afar, his Gears honing in on the anomaly. All eighteen of his searching creations had converged on the smoke cloud, providing ample coverage of the area that could be seen. They concentrated on Silas and Akkina, moving close enough to pick up his words. Titan almost smiled, this little town might be proven to be quite a profitable visit. Titan chose four of his drones to keep an eye on Kyato's business and trading posts. Two covered the entrances to the left and right, so Titan dispatched one more to hover over the doorway.

He had walked quite a bit of the Market in search of the bounty, finally settling behind the island of shops across from the tailor's. He spied two men running out from an alley. Sighing, Titan had realized that maybe this bounty was going to match its pay-off. He'd have to renegotiate with the bounty issuer. The man named Silas would be worth at least 50,000. He looked to be a deft hand at the bow and his knowledge of the arcana might be problematic. Drawing his explosive pistol, Titan took his own route to the shop.

Silas grinned at her awkwardness, glad to see he was starting to have as much effect on her as she did him. Yet there was a bit of fuzziness to the logic as well. "The problem is that this man knew to ask for it by name. And he seems like he's determined. No one with that kind of desire doesn't know what he's after. If he knew its name, he most likely knows its general appearance and significance, I would imagine."

Titan folded the wanted poster and tucked it away. He'd gotten what he'd needed from the general store and knew that this bounty was one he couldn't pass up. One woman, alive and he'd get 100,000 gold? And then a possibly additional 30,000 for the man. If his memory served him right, Titan knew the woman from the pawnshop, she had been the guard!

Then there was a search and seizure contract asking for a blade named Durandel. The reward was substantial for such a simple assignment and Titan was keeping his eyes out for any rumors of the kind. Tapping away at his interface, Titan summoned two dozen of his gears. Six were sent to patrol the area around the shop and the other dozen and a half to crawl through the alleys and streets. He'd scanned in the images of the couple so it wouldn't be long until he caught wind of them. He was in for a hell of a payday. He hummed tunelessly to himself, as he slowly walked through the streets. The bounty hunter had high hopes.

"Doon't mind if I do big bro," Krystoff answered, making a note of that for the future. He winked at Brutus, who licked his chops back in return. It was a dirty way to subvert the dog, but Krystoff loved Brutus nearly as much as Dimi. He reached over taking yet another slice, this time vegetarian. He felt hungrier than normal, but he brushed it off as how much fighting they'd had to do today. "Yea, seems he's been holding a whole lot of rage in that little body," he started. "He's already beat to shit, Dimitri. If he thought he exorcise a damn poltergeist in his condition, he'd be deep-sixed. He can't even dig up a grave." Krystoff finished the slice quickly and finally felt satisfied. "Just.. really try Dimitri. He's headed down a rough path." Krystoff waved off, wanting to go to his room for little him time. The young man thought about today's encounter and thought he may have to rethink what he primarily took into the field.
So ready to see this outcome lol
Motesi was surprised at the quickness of his new companions, they responded with vigor and perhaps a touch of zeal. He was grateful, hoping this encounter could end without bloodshed. Even so, his mind was abuzz and his fingers tingled with ever ready magicka. With his focuse, he hoped for the Nords sake that they'd leave without causing scene.

"I believe these men were just leaving, actually. They seemed to have the wrong idea about my relations with the lovely bartender. I merely inquired about local gossip and rumor. Sirs, I suggest going about your night as you were, before anyone can do something they might regret," Metosi reasoned with the pair. He felt fairly confident in his group's skills and he didn't see the Bosmer close. They were most effective unexpected with room to breath.

Action: Attempt at neutralizing the situation.

Shaking Randy's hand, he introduced himself, "Silas, it's good to meet you. And no, we're not going to be looking for Durandal." Silas mentioned the subject purposefully, wanting Akkina to realize the severity of danger she especially was in. "That man has not seen the last of me, I assure you. I will find him and see what his intentions are with the blade. It's not a weapon that the passing hand could just swing." He inspected the rope and the trip line, thinking it through. The rope and netting were brand new, not used often. This meant it had just been purchased or someone had an abundance of inventory. The trip wire was a bit trickier and said something to the gunman's intelligence. This was a man of means they were after.

Silas felt he was considerably happier whenever Akkina was around and she'd managed to find him through no little effort. This was a good sign and he was content with his lot in life at that moment. However, one thing came to mind. "Have you heard rumors of a bounty, by any chance?" There was no coincidence in this world, Silas found and that everything had its own rhythm. He had a sneaking suspicion that these orders had come from someone connected to the knife wielding scum from a night ago.

Yep, I'll still help pull this together. ^^ My schedule might get a bit tight though
Metosi clucked his tongue behind his teeth sharply, wondering the same as Qa'Ra. It was a truly enticing though, their group having been on the road for some time... He emptied his own mug of water and enjoyed the cold drink immensely. The well must have been kept in good condition, the water tasted clean as if taken from snow. With his companions currently involved, Metosi thought he could spare a bit of time with the bartender. Qa'Ra was busy trying to get a drink, Shinnon seemed to enjoy the waitress's rambling speech, and Ka-Vara was eating a sweetroll and keeping a watch on the tavern. Metosi caught the bartender's eye and returned her wink. The dark elf walked around the counter and lounged against a nearby support beam. "Are you sure? Maybe there's somewhere a little more private that might inspire a tidbit... or two?" His words were laced with hidden meaning and promise. A slow smile crept over his face.

Actions: attempt to woo the lass
And Silas jas just enough to hire Titan after sellinghis pelts, 10,000 gold right there x]
