Bio

Hey there, I'm Wolvena!
So, after being away from the roleplay world for a while, I'm ready to jump back in. I don't do many 1 on 1's because I tend to struggle to keep it going after a little bit. I normally go with group rps on the smaller side, just because I tend to get a bit lost in larger ones. My go-to genres are animal(mostly wolves), anime, sci-fi, and fantasy, though I'm always up to give something new a try.

Esme Stirling

Esme dropped her head, her hair falling forward to cover her face from view. She barely heard Cason’s words from all the pain she was feeling, but she slowly shook her head no. If she was being honest with herself, she didn’t feel okay at all. Her whole body felt broken, and the uncontrollable shaking didn’t help any. She cut her eyes up seeing Dean laying on the floor, with Bobby at his side. His actions said it all, Dean was dead. The demon that had carried him up the stairs and threw him on the floor had killed him. Esme carefully uncurled her legs from under her, then carefully inched her way to a wall.

It was the only bit of movement she could muster. She leaned her side against the wall, keeping her back to everyone in the room as they made it to the room. They all had failed miserably in the fight. Not only did they lose Dean, but they lost Annabeth as well. She knew because she couldn’t feel anything from her. Esme curled in on herself as she leaned against the wall, tears streaming down her cheeks as she heard and felt everyone's grief. She closed her eyes and held her broken arm against her body. She felt like a complete and utter failure, but she also couldn’t figure out how she had taken out all the demons in the room.

Plus, she really wasn’t in the right state of mind to figure that out right now. What she had done actually had her scared of herself, and she didn’t get scared that easily. She could only imagine what the others would think of her once they had composed themselves. She had just literally become a demon nuke, and somehow Cason had survived the blast. She was an emotional time bomb, and there was no telling when she would explode again. She sighed and rested her forehead on the wall, tears streaming down her cheeks as she silently cried and cursed to herself. It suddenly became clear that it was dangerous to be around this group.

One hour later

Most of the hour she spent pressed up against the wall, not looking at anyone and keeping her back to them. Their grief plus her own was ripping her apart and keeping her tears flowing down her cheeks. She had been trying to think of what they should do and how they could bring him back, but she could think of nothing. She hated herself for agreeing that they should give Dean a hunter's funeral, but it had felt like the only option when the others brought it up. She then felt a gust of wind but didn’t think much of it. Thinking it came from one of the broken windows or through the front doorway, it was wide open after all, from her crashing through it.

She then felt a touch on her head, but saw nothing it could come from. She winced and held back a cry of pain as she felt her arm repair itself, along with any serious wound she had. She took in a deep breath, then looked over at Dean when she heard him gasp for air. Esme’s eyes widened in complete and utter shock. He was alive. She wiped away her tears with a small smile on her lips as Mika flung herself at him. She could share in the happiness that he was back. She then picked up her knife from the floor and pushed herself off the floor and onto her feet, stumbling a little, feeling every sore spot she had as she did.

She wiped the blade on her pants and put the knife in its sheath on her belt, then looked at Dean. “Glad to have you back, Dean.” she said softly as she wiped away more tears from her cheeks. She then quietly pushed herself off the wall and walked to the front door and out onto the porch. Once outside, she breathed in the cool night air and sat on the porch steps. She ran her hands through her hair and then down her face before propping her elbows on her knees and putting her face in her hands. Violet soon joined her, laying down behind her and curling around her with a whine and gentle nudge

“Hey Violet.” she whispered as she pulled her face from her hands. Esme leaned into Violet and rested her head on her shoulder, more tears threatened to fall from her eyes as thought filled her mind. Violet then laid her head down on Esme’s leg with a whine. Esme placed her hand on Violet’s head and gave it a scratch. “After what happened in there, I don’t even know if I should stay.” she whispered to her. “I could have easily killed them along with all the demons…… I’m actually surprised you’re here with me.” she continued as she closed her eyes. Violet responded with a small whine and curled around Esme more as she nuzzled her leg. Esme gave a weak smile at the gesture. “Thank you.”

Esme smiled contently as Dean snuggled back up with her and tangled his legs with hers and then felt his heart flutter. She opened her eyes, blinking the sleep from them “Then my plan is working.” she said with a laugh in her tone. Her smile grew when he turned his head, brushing his nose with her, then kissed her. She returned his kiss and closed her eyes once more. The events from last night playing again in her mind. It was a wonder the two of them ended up making it to the room, even if she wasn’t as drunk as Dean was.

She remembered taking the key from him because he was having trouble finding the keyhole, and once they were in the room and they shut the door, he thanked her by sweeping her off her feet and into bed. When Dean laughed, she figured he was remembering the same thought she was. Esme opened her eyes at hearing his phone buzz on the table. It was obvious he was ignoring it as he brushed his fingers along her jaw, giving her a little shiver. “I think you may be right about that.” she laughed.

“If he has to come looking for you, I’m sure he’ll be even more pissed.” She grinned and rubbed her nose against his. Then she brought her hand to rest on his cheek, brushing her thumb over his lips before kissing him.

Esme slept soundly next to Dean. With the way she had her arm draped over him, it blocked most of the sun from hitting her face. For the first time in months, her dreams were peaceful and not plagued with nightmares and gruesome images. Her dreams were partially filled with past memories of her and Dean and pieces of what happened last night. Like how she tried to quiet him down when he became vocal about needing a break from angels, demons, his brother, and everything else Winchester related. When Dean snuggled her close, she woke just a little, but not enough to stir.

The closeness brought a smile to her lips and caused her to drift back off. At his gentle attempt to wake her up, she breathed in deeply and gave a tired groan in protest. “Ten more minutes…. Please.’ she said tiredly. She then snuggled up closer to him, her nose brushing along his jawline as she tilted her head up. She could feel a slight throb in her head from the one too many drinks she had last night. She vaguely remembered going back to get the extra drinks, but could remember getting into the room and the moments after.

The night had turned out to be way more than she had expected it to be when they first arrived at the bar. And now, she didn’t want to get out of the bed, she was far too comfortable laying next to him in his arms to move. She knew they needed to check in with Sam, but she just wanted to enjoy a few more moments of this….. A few more minutes of feeling normal.

Cason shoved Esme so fast at the demon, she didn’t have the chance to take in how relieved he was that she was alright. She charged at the demon as she brandished her knife. He grinned, and his eyes turned red. Her eyes narrowed to hide her surprise at his level. She slashed at the demon, catching his arm as he sidestepped her and slammed her into a wall. She groaned as she hit, then pushed herself off for another attack. She swung her blade at the demon, slashing his chest deep. The demon yelled in pain as the wound sizzled from the blade. In his rage, he backhanded her that sent her stumbling to the side.

“You are a feisty one, aren't you?” he grinned. “You have no idea.” she spat. She spun to shove her blade through his chin, but another demon that popped up behind her caught her in mid-attack. The female demon pulled her by the arm and quickly snapped it, causing a scream of pain to leave Esme’s lips and dropped her knife just as they had captured Cason. The female demon pulled Esme’s back to her and wrapped an arm around her throat and a knife to her chest, as Esme held her broken arm with her left hand. The male came up and knelt down to pick up Esme’s knife.. However, when he touched it, it burned him, causing Esme to smirk through her pain.

At her smirk, the male punched her in the stomach, causing Esme to groan and cough. The female demon held her tight around the throat, then leaned her head down to whisper in her ear. “Move and I’ll snap that pretty little neck of yours.” She squeezed Esme’s neck more to emphasize she meant what she said, causing Esme to gasp a bit. She could feel the pride radiating off the demons in the room at their success in capturing them. Her eyes darted to the stairs at the sound of footsteps coming up them, her eyes going wide as she saw Dean’s limp body in the arms of a large male demon, followed by another caring Mika.

“Dean!! Mika!!” she called out to them as they were tossed onto the floor. She could see that Mika was still breathing, but had been knocked in the head pretty good. Dean’s appearance scared her. He looked dead, and she could see the blood pooling from his ear. She scanned the room, seeing they were outnumbered and had been overtaken. Nothing about this had gone to plan, and now it felt like a helpless situation. They had failed to keep the demons from coming and taking over, Dean was out cold and dieing from his head injury, and Sam and Annabeth could only stay in the vault for so long.

Her feelings of hopelessness were now making her aware of all the other emotions in the house. She couldn't stop them from washing over her like a flood. The ache in her chest soon turned into a soft burn and then a fire, followed by a headache. Her breathing became labored as she tried to fight against the emotions overwhelming her, but it was useless, they were too strong this time. Looked at Dean and Mika on the floor not far from her, wincing as a fire erupted within her chest. She tried to hold back her whimper of pain, her body shaking from the pain and effort to stay quiet.

She scanned the room again, taking in all the humans and Cason. Her head soon felt as if it would explode at any moment. Her vision was blurring and everything felt as if it were spinning, her eyes started to roll back in her head. Esme’s head rocked forward, her chin resting on the female demon's arm briefly, then her head tilted back, her eyes rolled into the back of her head. She took in a sharp breath, letting it out as a scream as a blast shot from her targeting the demons and incerating them. Once it was over and was no longer in the demon’s grasp. She fell to her knees, cradling her arm in her lap and slumping forward and breathing heavily.

Esme looked up at him as he nodded his head with a shrug to her question. A grin came to her lips, followed by a giggle. “Ah, then I accomplished something today.” She fell silent as he fell into thought. She knew he was going through the options they had, and she knew he was worried about Sam and her. She didn’t know Sam except for Dean had told her about it, but she had to admit she was worried about him too. Though as she thought about him being in a place with heavy warding and an angel, her worry faded a little. The place would be hard for anything to get into, like a fortress.

Not to mention she could see how much Dean needed to get away from everything that had been going on. She could clearly see it written on his face. Since they had been at the bar, she could see the good it was doing. He was smiling, laughing, and dancing. His tense shoulders had even relaxed. All this was happening, and he only had two triple shots. It was a tad surprising. She focused back on him as he stared blankly past her at the bar. She almost said something when his eye twitched, and he smiled as he looked at her. She gave a warm smile in return to his words and his touch. “If you……” his kiss cut her off.

She returned his kiss with her own as he led her backwards to a wall, then pressed her hips against it. As he nibbled her lip, she smiled as she slid her right hand up his chest and neck to rest on his cheek, stroking it with her thumb. Esme then kissed him again, deepening it after a moment.

Esme continued to stroll through the junkyard, still humming as she went. She had placed a hand on Sarah and Violet as they walked by her side. The two of them both seemed to enjoy themselves. She didn’t realize how deep she had gone into the junkyard until she heard one of the other hounds howl. Esme stopped in her tracks and fell silent as she pulled out her gun, scanning the junkyard. Sarah and Violet moved closer to her as they growled, their eyes scanning the junkyard as well. “Alright girls.” she said, still scanning the area. “Looks like they have decided to start the party early. I hope you two are ready.”

She released the safety on her gun, then judged the distance between her and the house. She was pretty sure she wouldn’t get back to the house before she ran into at least one demon. “Alright, let’s move back to the house.” With her gun held at the ready, she walked back to the house, a shiver running up her spine on the way. Sarah and Violet moved as if they were an extension of her, a growl in their throats as they moved through the junkyard with her. Esme could feel that they were being watched, but she couldn’t pinpoint where they were. “Stay on your toes, girls.” she whispered to them.

She went a little further, keeping her eyes open for a sudden attack, but it never came. She knew they were there and couldn’t help but wonder what they were waiting for. Another shiver ran down her spine. “Come on, you cowards! I know you’re there!” she yelled out into the junkyard. Laughter erupted in the junkyard after her words, echoing all around her and the two hounds. Just then, six demons popped up out of nowhere and surrounded them, wide grins on their faces as they stared her down. “Well, well, well, what do we have here?” a male demon said. “Looks like a hunter all on their own.” a female said from behind her.

“Mmmmm, shame we have to kill something so fine.” another male chimed in. They then closed in on her and Esme took a shot, hitting one square in the head. “Sarah! Violet! Now!” she yelled. Both hounds charged the demons and pounced, making quick work of three of them. Esme got off a couple of more shots before making a run for it. She didn’t get far before a demon appeared in front of her, and punched her in the face before the hounds could reach her. Esme groaned and hit the ground on all fours. The demon laughed before kicking her. “Thought you could get away, did you?” he sneered as Esme grunted and rolled onto her side, clutching her stomach.

He went to land another kick, but Violet tackled him and ripped him to shreds. “Thanks, Violet.” Esme gasped as she struggled to her feet. Sarah came over and gave her help standing, letting Esme lean against her and she stood. Violet came to her side with her gun in her mouth, Esme took it with a weak smile. She could feel more coming. Taking a breath, she ran towards the house again as she held her bruised ribs, at the rate they were coming, she’d be a complete mess if she tried to take many more on. Esme finally made it about half way when a large group of demons showed up. “Hellfire!” she complained as she took aim.

“You know what to do girls.” she said then shot at several demons. She watched as each shot hit its mark, then cursed under her breath as she took her last shot. She tucked her gun away and pulled a good sized hunting knife from her belt. It was a silver blade that had been bathed in salty holy water. The blade wasn’t large enough to decapitate, but she hoped it would be enough to slow them down. Esme flew into the group of demons when Sarah and Violet, slashing and stabbing her way through. That was until she felt herself being lifted from the ground and thrown through the windshield of a vehicle. She gasped and fought for the air that had been forced from her lungs.

Her vision slightly blurred from the impact, she closed her eyes and shook her head to clear her vision, then made her way off the vehicle as Sarah attacked the demon responsible for throwing her. She leaned against the vehicle to regain herself while Sarah and Violet fought off any demon that got near. Looking up head, she could see she was almost there, she could clearly see the house. She bolted just as another hellhound came out of nowhere, which she was thankful for. She was almost to the porch when two more demons showed up, a male and a female, both with smirks upon their faces. “It ends here.” the female sneered.

“Not if I can help it.” Esme sneered back. She cut a quick look over her shoulder, the three hounds were busy fighting the other demons. Esme took her stance, her knife held firmly in her right hand. The demons attacked first, both coming at her at once. She dodged what she could, and managed to get a few hits and slashes in. Finally she managed to trip them up to where they collided, Esme took this chance to stab the female in the back and threw the heart. Pulling her blade free she faced off with the male, his eyes burned with rage. He charged and they exchanged blows, moving to the porch stairs.

He landed a blow in Esme’s stomach, sending her to all fours holding her stomach. As she looked up, he punched her in the face, then stomped her ribs forcing her to the ground. She groaned in pain as she fought to get back up on her hands and knees. Only to be kicked in the ribs and then thrown at the front door, sending her crashing through it with a yelp.

Esme normally wasn’t so forward when it came to moments such as these, but something about Dean brought it out in her. Maybe it was because he felt things so strongly and she could easily pick up on them being an empath. Maybe it was because she had shoved down her feelings for him all that time ago and they were now pouring out of her. Whatever it was, she wasn’t complaining about it. She smiled behind their kiss when she felt his heartbeat pick up and when he brushed back her hair to cup her cheek as he kissed her back. At that moment, she felt like they were the only two in the bar dancing to the music.

She had to admit, she never thought she would end up here. She had thought would have run into another dead end and left town. But she was happy and thankful that it hadn’t ended up that way. She was perfectly content, wrapped in his arms and locked in a kiss. Something else she never thought would happen today. God, how she missed being so close to another, especially him. Her heartbeat picked up as he deepened the kiss. She unlocked her fingers from behind his neck, letting her left hand slide down to rest on his arm and her right slid down to rest on his chest.

A sigh of contentment escaped her as well, making her feel slightly weak in the knees. As the kiss lingered, she could feel herself becoming light-headed as she lost herself within it. She barely noticed when the song ended and things went silent before another song played. However, when he broke the kiss, she came back to earth. Her eyes remained closed, and a smile was upon her lips. Her smile grew at his words, and she had to laugh along with him. “Does that mean I surprised you?” Her eyes slowly opened to meet his gaze, and another laugh escaped her.

When he kissed her, she returned it with a smile. “Of course you can. After a kiss like that, it would be hard to keep it slow.” Which was true. She felt as if her heart were going to beat right out of her chest. Esme closed her eyes briefly at his statement. She felt the same way. She was enjoying herself too much here to even want to think of joining up with the other three. She knew it sounded selfish, but she wanted more of this. “I know what you mean…... It’s hard to pull yourself away from a moment that feels so…….. Normal. When you finally have a moment that feels normal, you just want to hang onto it and not let go.” She sighed heavily as she scanned his eyes to see if that was how he felt, as well.
Esme Stirling

Esme had given a laugh and shook her head at his comment on her legs.Only he would make a comment like that in a moment like this. As she waited for him to put his arms around her, she too had the same memory. It brought a smile and a laugh along with it. She let the memory fade as he wrapped his arms loosely around her waist. She leaned her head back a little and laughed happily as he lifted off her feet and spun her to the music, then looked back at him when he set her back down. A bright laugh escaped her at his comment about the regret ship had sailed.

“You’re probably right around that.” She sighed in contentment as she watched him and saw how much of a good time he was having, and he only had two triple shots. It was just like old times and they hadn’t even gotten drunk yet. It also felt as if they had never been apart. Esme closed her eyes when Dean rested his forehead against hers as they swayed to the music. Every feeling that she had pushed down about Dean after her father’s death to fully focus was flooding back. They were consuming her once again and they made her heart flutter and almost put butterflies within her stomach.

She could still hear her father’s words about him, saying he was a bad boy and he didn’t want his daughter around a bad boy. But her father didn’t see the caring and protective side of Dean she had seen. So apparently her type were bad boys, and it always made her laugh thinking about it. Esme opened her eyes when he touched noses with her, then tilted her head up so he didn’t have to angle his head so much. A warm smile came to her lips at his words. “You’re actually asking me this time?” She gave a little laugh and gently rubbed her nose against his, then kissed him as she closed her eyes.
Esme Stirling

Esme saw the narrowing of his eyes to her vague answer to his question. She knew he wouldn’t like it. She would have answered, but she didn’t want to put a damper on the mood and good time they were having. She gave a little laugh and looked at the bar top as he answered her. She should have known of all people he would understand what it was like, but still didn’t want to bring more on him when he already had a full plate. At his laugh to not ruin the mood, she looked up from the bar top and at him.

She watched him as he finished his drink and didn’t ask for another, which she was expecting he would want another after the day they’ve had. His sudden question took her by surprise, but a warm smile returned to her lips as he slid off his stool. “I’d love to.” She took his hand and slid off her own stool, then stepped up beside him. “I’m sure you can’t be that bad of a dancer.” she laughed. “I might be the one to step on your feet or fall on my face.” she joked.

Esme then wrapped her free arm around him and looked up at him with her own bright smile. “Let’s go make them regret letting us out there.” she laughed. She then gently pulled him out to where others were dancing and to their own little space. Esme released her hold on him and took her place in front of him, then she reached up and placed her hand behind his neck and interlocked her fingers with a smile.

Esme’s smirk became a large grin as Dean laughed at her joking back, then she joined in. She had missed hearing his laugh, and it was contagious. She couldn’t help but laugh when he did. She laughed more when he quipped back with his waggling eyebrows. Him downing his shot and asking for another gave her a moment to compose herself and feel just how much she had relaxed in the short time they had been there. “Yes, I seem to remember that myself.” she grinned. A sparkle came to her eye, as she had a memory come to mind of one of their crazy times.

It was of the time they got into a heated pool match after being on a case. To this day, she had no idea how the whole bar got in on it and a fight broke out within the bar. She let the memory fade as he spoke once again and focused on him. It didn’t really surprise her that Sam knew nothing about their crazy times. Sam also seemed like one that wouldn’t expect her to stay around long. She couldn’t hold back the smile when he said he did. Of course he did. She rolled his words around in her mind as she looked at her glass. Sticking around after tonight and even when everything was over.

She had to admit that it sounded nice. And he was right. She didn’t have anywhere else to be after everything was over. The thought of staying and not going it alone again was something hard to pass up, but she also didn’t want to bring the trouble that followed her to him. Esme looked up from her glass when he leaned in and clinked his glass against hers. She sighed softly at his words and looked at him, watching him scan her eyes for a moment, then drank her drink in one shot.

“I know you want me safe, you always have.” she smiled warmly. She fell silent before answering him. “Honestly,,,,.. I’m thinking about a lot right now.” she told him, setting her glass down on the bar. “You really want me to stick around with all my baggage and what seems to follow me?”
