Eclipse ran over to where the dead chaos soldier had fallen and retrieved the other half of his weapon. Placing the two together, he uttered a call to his deity to restore him. "Glorious Iomedae, hear the plea of your child. If it is your will, goddess, restore my sword and my soul, so that I may return to your service and carry out your will in the universe." A blinding white light flashed and the sky rumbled with the transfer of power. Eclipse rose again, the blood burned away and weapon whole and full of energy. "In the name of the holy sun, I stand once again to defend this world from evil and chaos." He glared at Iblis first.

Eclipse really hates being practically powerless. ... plus he hates being covered in a lot of dried blood. he bends down to pray for patience and endurance.
