Fairly certain that Kami wasn't going to come back, Mithias tentatively gets up from the floor and cautiously approaches Nathan and his "friend" Klonos. He looks at Nathan for an explanation.
"All... is... lost..." *cowers*
Am I foreshadowing???
As Mithias was on his way down to the laboratory, he decided to pass through a specific deck: the one with the dining room. He hesitated briefly before getting off the lift and starting down the hall. As he got closer, the black smoke stain on the ceiling and walls outside of the door were still there. Feeling a sense of dread, Mithias slowed down, stopping in front of the door to see that infamous room. The water from the sprinklers had dried up. Everything was black, or mostly burned. The window was still cracked, moaning that horrifying and lonely sound in the wind. Did it really happen? Mithias stood in awe, but not so much at the event itself or his role in it, but at the realization of the power of his brother. Martin was incredibly young to have such power. Gabriel had given him so much, and he turned out so like his father. In him, Gabriel had made an almost perfect son. Mithias frowned as he felt the small sting of sin pierce his heart, jealously. He shook his head, ashamed of it. Martin was a good, innocent, and beautiful creature, and Mithias knew he would give his life to protect either one of them. That... was his role, his place. 'To protect and defend,' was his chosen path, yet something deep inside him longed to escape it. With each passing century, choosing the path of exile, as Gabriel did, was beginning to have its appeal. But then who would protect Martin? Mithias sighed heavily and began walking away. Given an infinite amount of time, staying involved in the world was eventually going to get them all killed.

Nathan gives Mithias a tight hug."Thank you....thank you....." He says sobbing.

(I'm gonna reply to Tiny and THEN have Mithias touch the ring and get "blowed-up." Just makes more sense.)

The look on the man's face said it all. The anguish, the fear, the pain this Kami must have caused Nathan was great indeed. Mithias opened his arms to gently embrace him as he approached with tears in his eyes. "Hush..." The vampire said softly through fanged teeth, soothing the unsettled hero. "Whatever he did, it's over now. Everything is going to be just fine." Vampires could be surprisingly empathetic, almost seeing into anther's mind with their emotional attunement. He held Nathan close for a moment before releasing him and smiling reassuringly. The floating gleam of the ring's gem caught his eye behind Nathan. "Kami's gone now, and we're completely safe..." he said, as he made the mistake of touching the ring.

Mithias was incinerated by light and lightning one last time, having the aforementioned vision of course.

As before, his body immediately reformed. It was getting rather good at that. Poor Mithias was overwhelmed with terror and bolted straight into a wall, crashing and slinking to the floor, panting heavily and cowering in the fetal position. He trembled with fear. "I have seen... the god of gods!"

Mithias puts the chain around his neck, looking at Nathan. "I believe so. I assume getting rid of him was a good thing?" he tilted his head innocently.

((Points for creativity))As waves of electromagnetic force erupted from Mithias, Kami fell backwards, his entire body seemingly blurring and shaking. His form seemed to shake like static, as it, also, was made from electricity. "No no no no no no NO!" Kami's shaking seems to get progressively worse, as suddenly, there's a bright glow from a ring on his left hand. Around the ring, his skin seems to begin to rupture, as he erupts into a fit of spastic screaming. His bones crack, and his skin withers, as the glow from the ring grows brighter, his body seemingly ripping itself apart. "Oh God no, please no, I haven't failed, no God please NO!" Soon, Kami seems to dissipate into a cloud of blood, nothing left of the man who would be God, but a floating cast iron ring, embedded with a roughly hewn topaz.

Mithias remained a magnet for a few minutes, even after he watched Kami disintegrate into a bloody mist, until he was convinced the monster was really gone. Slowly, he changed his body back to its original form, starting at his feet and moving up to his left hand, which, as a magnet, drew the metal ring into it, before reverting as well. "He called himself god." The vampire looked at the ring questioningly, almost afraid Kami would suddenly pop out of it. "And still, he referred to another god. I wonder who that was." Mithias clenched the ring and looked around for Nathan and Bug. "Hm, I don't think I'll be using this until I know more about it." Cutting his finger with his fang, Mithias drew a small stream of his own blood, which, using his manipulation, he shaped into a small chain and looped through the ring, then changed it into gold links.
Mithias sighed in relief. At least he wasn't going to be Terebithia's prisoner, or so he thought. "Thank you, BIOPilot. As your controller, and the living being now respinsible for your actions, I am going to need a lot of information from you." Mithias began walking down toward the lab, where Stien's former experiments would be. He distinctly recalled hearing some piteous crying right before he blacked out during his operation. "First, I want a report of your objectives, listed in order of priority from highest to lowest. Second, where are we going and why are we flying so fast? Third, are there any living experimental subjects still contained in the lab?"
Mithias' demon blade of soul attacked several times, but each time, Kami blinked into a bolt of lightning and reappeared at a new location. Meanwhile, Mithias' body had once again reformed, his soul returning to it promptly as Kami moved directly in front. Mithias glared at him in defiance briefly, before he was suddenly punched in the face. There was no time to dodge. It seemed that everything Kami did was practically instant. "What are you doing? No!" Mithias cried out as he realized Kami was doing something that only a god could do to him, changing who he was. He couldn't move. The electrical paralysis burned his entire body. Tiny arches of micro-lightning pricked off his skim, and it was then Mithias had an idea. Willing his new powers to serve him, Mithais quickly changed the substance of his body into a large magnet. By his will, he intensified the power of the magnetic field to disrupt and distort the pathing of the electricity, the electrons themselves were redirected sharply into aberrant directions. Kami no longer had control of his powers. He'd be unable to move in his electric form properly, unable to target a bolt of lightning to incinerate someone.

Having nullified the manipulation of his mind, Mithias furrowed his brow at Kami. "I will not allow you to control me, master! ...I mean Kami!" he blushed slightly.
