Blood Compact: Magnus's Reign

Mithias smiled as he heard Martin again. It was good to Martin was alright after just having saved the world. Mithias interpreted his message to say that Martin wanted him to escape the Terebithia, but there were always multiple interpretations to the strange things Martin said. He didn't answer, but he knew Martin would have seen that he was alright and conscious, that is, since Mithias wasn't actively making his mind unreadable. Of course, he had no idea what was going on on Martin's end of the call. The battle with Onikage was completely unknown to him, and thus Mithias remained tied by his immediate responsibility, managing Jack's machine.

Still awaiting a response to his three questions from BIOPilot, Mithias reached the lab. The door opened for him, and he began to look around. The operation table was easy enough to find. There were computers and screens along the walls, cabinets, racks of equipment, and cages, capsules, and incubation chambers where the experimental subjects would be. Strangely, there were no longer any whimpering or crying sounds. Mithias reached out with his senses to seek life in any form.

Receiving no answer, Mithias heals completely. "I don't know why you are trying to kill Tsukune again, Bug, nor why you killed him the first time. But it's obvious that killing me to do so is a sacrifice that you are easily willing to make. I take that personally." He looks at all of them. It looked like he wasn't going to ind any help amongst these folk. "I'm leaving." He turned away and just started walking.

"Tsukune..." Mithias whispers the word through a bloody mouth as he is recovering from repeated stabs.

"Shall I kill him?"

Mithias attempts to dodge, but it's too late, the blade slices beside his head into his shoulder and cuts deep down his torso. Blood splatters and spills onto the ground. Mithias falls as his chest is mostly split asunder. In a puddle of blood, his body once again begin to reform. A pair of red glowing eyes appear first before everything else pulls itself together. The eyes are looking directly at Bug.

Eclipse blinked a moment. His willpower was extreme, and he could see through the illusions if he had wanted to at any time, but for some reason, he had allowed himself to be affected by Bo's magic. Maybe he just wanted to see what Bo wanted to show him. Mayb eit was Bo's method of communication. "Alright. I will take you with me."

Eclipse stepped through the portal, keeping himself meek and harmless, moving slowly, and not meeting the gazes of the drones or the guards upon entering Matt's starship. He did however, lift his eyes to behold young Matt. The angel's crystal blue eyes were soft and beautiful. His armor was bright and glowing faintly, and he moved with heavenly grace. His wings looked both powerful and soft. A single white down feather dropped to the ground behind him as he walked forward several steps.

Gracefully, he bowed before the human engineer-captain, his long hair falling in front. "I thank you for giving me the opportunity to meet with you, god-emperor. I am new to this world, and I am eager to learn from you." Eclipse seemed very friendly, like a long lost big brother or beloved family member.

The white angel looked from the drones to the trembling, wavering spirit. He smiled at her. "Have faith my friend. I will see what I can do." He then looked up to the drones and started walking towards them. Stopping, he set down his sword, and shield, and stepped away some distance.

Eclipse glanced at Bo as his form changed yet again, to that of another female goddess. This one appeared scared, stirring his protective instincts. He nodded at her, understanding hat she was saying about the God-Emperor being the cause of the undead... but who was telling the truth?

Eclipse saw Darkside also reach for his weapon, and it became apparent that he was no friend of the drones or this world's supposed owner. Eclipse knew he himself was an intruder here and being targeted as a threat was sometimes to be expected. He couldn't speak for Darkside or Bo, but if he didn't identify himself as peaceful, he was likely to get caught up in the unavoidable battle that was about to break out.

Intervening, he drew attention to himself. "Emperor Matthew!" He lowered his armaments and addressed the drones. "I am Eclipse, envoy of Iomedae, inheritor of Aroden, goddess of righteous valor, justice, and honor. I do not come to overtake your world, nor to bring violence, but to make your acquaintance and to share the knowledge and peace of her holiness."
